My old teacher was around for the Vietnam draft, I remember a story he used to tell.

He has really bad eyes, and wears contacts and glasses. The man examening him asked him what he would do if he lost his glasses in battle.

He said:

"Well, I'd shoot at everything that moved."

They didn't like that. xp
OH man, I'm gonna have to try that.
Yeah, I thought it was hilarious. If women are ever drafted, that's definitly going to be one of the things I say. xp

Yeah... Well, when as many women are drafted as men... A LOT of people should freak out about that, rather than just the few.

And now ona completely different note...

I think I may call in to work today... I've never called in sick before... I've went home sick, but never called in sick. I can't walk without coughing, I can't lay down without coughing, my nose has been blown so many times over the past few days that it burns. I'm dehydrated, tired, weak and I'm ******** up on cold medicine... I doubt I'll even remember that I typed this up tomorrow...

True. I think if the ratio became more equal, the issue would definitley become more important. I also think that the rates would probably go down.

Yes, but I like to save it up and use it as vacation time.

... It's strange, I use my sick days as vacation days and my vacation days as sick days...

o.O

I want to find a place where I could exploit loose sick-time rules. Take my sick days in conveniently placed 10-minute increments.

Yep I'm betting in will happen in the next day or two if it's in that really painful stage. The piss off is that once you feel better and stop blowing your nose it will flake off....

Must be taken in four hour increments where I work...

... Now if you'll excuse me, I'm going to go pass out now.
