She had a flashback of when she first met Alex, when she was still under organization control, and they practically tied a brick to her ankle to make her drown because she wasn't obeying them to perfection.

Her eyes began to water. Remembering watching her brother and mother's deaths was too much of a pain. She had sometimes wished, that if she had had a father, he'd come and take her away. She dreamt about what he was like often. To get it off her mind, she brought up her father.
