(Okay then.)

"Sure; I don't see why not!" Rex agreed with a cheerful grin, shifting slightly so Trinity could get at the machine easier.
Shadow glanced over Rex's shoulder, noticing a rather... interesting scene: Rex's Pokémon were currently having a cartoon-style brawl - basically, a big dust cloud complete with the obligatory limbs poking out every now and then. The likely center of the obvious argument, a black Pokéblock, was sitting on the floor in front of them. "What's with them?"
Rex shrugged. "I dunno; they took a bite of the Pokéblock stuff I made, and then they must've decided to have a practice battle or something, 'cause the next thing I know they were like that."
Shadow sweatdropped. "I see..." From the sound of things, apparently Rex was a very, very good Pokéblock maker, at least for a rookie... though the presentation could probably use a little work, he noted, noting a small group of particular Pokéblocks that were a rather disturbing shade of green and yet probably smelled the best out of all of them.

Trust: 82 (Ridiculously Trusting)
Affection: 92 (Inseparable)
Trauma: 50 (Scarred)
Restraint: 50 (Neutral)
Moveset: Quick Attack (Obscurate-boosted), Metal Claw, Power-Up Punch, Dark Sphere
Perks:
Big Brother - Shadow has become protective of a Pokémon or person, viewing them as a younger sibling. Trauma and Restraint checks may get bonuses or penalties if said Pokémon or person is involved. Certain checks may even be passed or failed automatically. Current Siblings - Torch the Torchic, Saph the Squirtle

Telepathic Communication: Shadow is capable of communicating with others via telepathy. Should Trust drop below 25, Affection drop below 0, or Trauma rise above 100, he will stop using this ability until the offending stat is corrected.

Human Tongue: Shadow is capable of communicating in English. Should Trust drop below 50, Affection drop below 20, or Trauma rise above 100, he will stop using this ability until the offending stat is corrected.

Stable Aura: Shadow's Aura no longer induces fear in Pokémon, and fellow Dark-types will now automatically view him as a friend, if not borderline worship him. Should Trauma rise above 80, this perk will be lost until it lowers back to 80.

Aura Arsenal (Sub-Perk of Stable Aura): Due to his Aura's new stability, Shadow is now capable of manipulating his Aura, creating Aura-based attacks that do not take up moveslots. Should Stable Aura be lost or otherwise made void, this perk will be disabled as well. Techniques:
- Aura Flare: Shadow flares his aura, dispelling binding/anti-escape moves (Bind, Whirlpool, Mean Look, etc.) and knocking away nearby opponents. Direct damage is negligible, however.
- Aura Skate: Shadow applies Aura to his feet as a sort of padding, allowing him to glide an inch or so above the ground across both liquid and solid surfaces with speeds he normally wouldn't be able to achieve due to friction. This technique also negates the effect of slippery or sticky surfaces. However, Shadow must be in constant motion while using this technique; if he stops, the Aura padding will fail to support his body weight, and he will stop hovering.
- Aura Berserker: Shadow overloads his entire body with Aura, increasing his power and speed to impressive levels and fully healing him at the cost of Defense and Special Defense; in addition, the technique has a time limit of 5 minutes, after which the strain of channeling that much Aura throughout his body will render him unconscious. Attempting to use this technique beyond the five-minute limit may result in severe and potentially lethal injuries. While using this Aura technique, he cannot use Dark Sphere or any other Aura Arsenal techniques with the exception of Aura Flare, since most of his Aura is channeled throughout his body and the rest is leaking out around him. (WARNING - This technique cannot be controlled until Shadow has the following stats: 40 Trauma, 75 Restraint, level 40. Until then, it will only activate under dire circumstances, and it will usually cause him to lose himself to his instincts, making him attack anything he perceives as a threat (and possibly a few things that he doesn't).)

Improvisation: Shadow can now invent unique attacks based off his existing move set, observation of others' attacks, instinct, or outright improvising. If he forgets a move, he cannot use any variations or combinations using that move unless he later remembers said move. Improvised, observation-based, and instinct-based moves take up moveslots, but variation and combination moves do not.
- Dark Sphere (Instinctive): Dark Sphere is similar to Aura Sphere, but is super-effective against Psychic-types and Ghost-types, normally effective against Dark-types, and even less effective than a normal Aura Sphere against Fairy-types. Should Trauma rise above 60, Shadow will become incapable of using it due to the corresponding increase in his Aura's instability.
- Power-Up Pummel (Combination - Power-Up Punch and Quick Attack/Extreme Speed): Shadow combines the speed of a Quick Attack with the fury of a Power-Up Punch, unleashing a flurry of initially weak punches that grow stronger with each hit. (Note: This move can be adapted to fit with other punching moves.)

Aura Tutor: Shadow is now capable of teaching Trinity and other Pokémon to use Aura. The ones that have the highest chance of being able to learn from him are Fighting-types and Pokémon capable of learning Aura Sphere. Students: Trinity

Mega Evolution (Deactivated): You have a Key Stone and Dark Lucarionite. At ≥90 Trust, ≥90 Affection, ≤50 Trauma, and ≥25 Restraint, Shadow can Mega Evolve.

"So what did you put in to yours to get those colors?" Trinity asked as she placed in a couple sweet berries and happily pressed the buttons at the right time. A couple of blocks came out and she offered Shadow some to tide him over until she could make some more.
"He just threw in what ever was in the berry bag." Dita said sweatdropping.
"That sounds about right for Rex." trinity said laughing.

(Okay then.)

"Well, actually I just threw in whatever berries looked tasty and followed my instincts from there, but Dita and the others really seem to like 'em, so I think I did pretty good," Rex noted cheerfully.
"Well, to be fair, they must be pretty good if Aero and the others are fighting over them," Shadow noted wryly, taking the Pokéblocks his girlfriend made and then trying one of the disturbing green ones, curious about how they tasted in comparison to Trinity's; once Rex's (admittedly bizarre) creation hit his taste buds, one of his eyebrows raised in surprise; he could certainly see why Rex's Pokémon were fighting over the things, though personally he preferred Trinity's (though he might be biased there; it WAS a pretty close match-up). "From the taste of things, I'd say Rex might actually have the potential to be a good chef, even if his cooking style is a bit... unorthodox." Read: the complete and utter opposite of a normal, well-organized professional chef's cooking style.

"Maybe I should get you some equipement so that you get some practice. it will be good for us to actually cook our meals when we are out in the forest. I'm good at stews and roasts out there but in a kitchen I'm good at making what i set out to do." Trinity explained as she finished. She thought about it and checked her wallet. She winced, "And it wouldn't be too bad on the funds if we don't eat out every time we come to towns." Trinity looked at Shadow, "think you are up to winning me some money?" She asked ready to battle some other trainers to get more money. "Or we can take on some help wanted ads that the city has. It will just make us stay in town for a little while more."
"Ads? Like finding things?" Dita asked curious. Trinity nodded, "Yeah there are boards where people place ads like lost Pokemon or items and they should pay at least a good 100 poke dollars. Though I hope there aren't any cleaning jobs." Trinity grumbled as she stood up. Dita was confused why the female trainer grumbled over cleaning before the psychic/fairy type put a stop to her team's fighting.
"come on guys, let's go get something to eat." Trinity said tossing out her pokemon. Jet and Aster stretched out as Torch and Saph ran over to Shadow and Trinity happily.

"I'm up for winning some money," Shadow confirmed, a small smirk on his face and the gleam in his eyes giving away just how eager he was to battle... and then his stomach growled loudly, causing him to add sheepishly, "Food sounds good though."
Rex nodded cheerfully, packing up the Pokéblocks that hadn't been eaten, picking up Dita, and following the others to the restaurant; add in his various eccentric Pokémon (and the fact that Kabu was hugging his head again), and their group looked like quite the odd menagerie.

Trinity smiled taking Shadow's paw in hand. "Yeah I'm sure you need food after the gym then what we did." She said teasingly. The female trainer kissed his cheek.
Dita cuddled happily up in Rex's arms. She was hungry. She didn't eat a lot of Rex's Pokéblocks so it wouldn't ruin her appetite. "So what are we eating?" She asked curiously.
"Well from the looks of the restaurant, Italian, so pasta." Trinity said getting a large table for them. She just ordered a large bowl of pasta for the table and a side of veggies and meatballs for them to add what they want.

As per usual, Rex went the vegetarian route, taking some of the pasta and several veggies and starting to eat, though oddly enough he wasn't letting go of Dita.
Shadow pretended not to notice how Rex was practically cuddling Dita at the moment, instead quipping back playfully to Trinity, "Well, to be fair, I did most of the work; you just gave the orders."

Dita blushed as she tried to reach out for food to eat. "Um Rex, you think you can let me go to eat?" She asked thinking of using her powers to bring the food closer to her.
Trinity glared at Shadow with a blush. "I did a lot more than just that." She then smirked, "And don't act like you didn't like my orders." She finished before opening her mouth to bit down on a meatball.

Rex blinked owlishly, looking down and realizing that, yes, he was currently holding Dita in his lap. "Huh... did not realize I was doing that." He reluctantly loosened his grip; then, because her arms WERE a little on the short side compared to his own, he began helping her with the food, not realizing exactly how it would look at a casual glance.
Shadow smirked right back, a mischievous gleam in his eye; she'd walked right into the metaphorical trap. "True; they did help beat Lt. Surge, after all." He then paused before feigning a puzzled look, shortly followed by similarly feigned understanding. "Ohhh, you were talking about the, ah, 'after-battle activities'? Yes, I suppose there were more than a few orders then, too. Really, though, do try to keep your mind out of the gutter," he mock-chided.

Dita sighed happily as she was finally able to get something to eat. "thank you, Rex." She cheerfully started to eat a salad she made. It would of really been hard for her to eat with how short her arms were. "How didn't you realize what you were doing?" She questioned him.
The female trainer without missing a beat turned to Saph, "Hey Saph, I made more Pokeblocks. You can have them." She said happily giving the water type Shadow's sweets. Trinity looked back to Shadow, "Well I think I will take your advice. Maybe i should stop thinking about that. I should focus more on my other Pokemon and not our 'extra activities'." She reasoned to her mate. Trinity returned her focus on to eating. Saph was currently eating the sweet Pokeblocks happily, his new form required him to eat a lot more because of more power he had.

Cue Shadow immediately starting to sulk - er, brood - realizing that his little joke had backfired.
Rex blinked owlishly once more, tilting his head in thought. "...Uh... you know, I'm actually not sure..." he mumbled, confused. And why was there a little bit of him in the back of his head that wanted to keep Dita as close as possible and never let her go?
Meanwhile, at the edge of town, Gladius smirked slightly, glancing over at his Medicham. "And now we wait for them to come this way so we can't beat 'em to a bloody pulp and bring 'em in. Except for the girl - I plan on keeping her." Behind them, Ace simply looked resigned.

Trinity ignored his sulking to pay the bill. "Ok guys let's go. I really would like to get in some battles to make more money." She said stretching out her body.
Dita smiled up to Rex before she finished her salad and slipped off his lap. The pokemon was ready to watch their friends battle.

Shadow stood and followed, mentally reassuring himself that she was probably joking earlier... though he did still wish she hadn't given away his favorite Pokéblocks like that. That aside, he was getting a definite sense of foreboding...
Rex grinned eagerly, getting up and following. "Yeah! C'mon, let's see some battling!" he agreed, as hyperactive as ever.

Trinity walked next to Shadow thinking about how many money she can get and how to really use it wisely.
"Calm Down, Rex." Dita said laughing.

"Nope, don't wanna. Battle, battle, battle, battle, battle, battle!" Rex chanted excitedly, getting more worked up by the second... that is, until Shadow spotted a blur coming their way, instinctively hitting the deck and pushing the others down with him just in time for all of them to avoid a barrage of rocks from a Rock Slide attack.
Gladius clicked his tongue from where he was standing next to his Medicham, a resigned-looking Ace nearby. "Looks like you missed, Zen." The young man then grinned sadistically. "Ah well, it's more fun to break them the hard way anyway."
