Ella's attack didn't open the door, given how thick and heavy it was, but it did bend it inward considerably with a loud bang.

Lobby
The sudden clashing of steel-type-on-metal reverberated throughout the room, and there was the brief sound of something flapping behind the blockage before yet another voice piped up, this one Daniel's, "David, David, chrissakes David we just had tomato soup for dinner last night can we not?"

Tama looked to Lex. "How big are those vents? Would we even fit, especially with our winter gear on?" He asked, looking around again for any other means of escape.
Looking to his Pokemon, "Guys, spread out and protect the rest of the team." It was the most he could do for getting them into this mess. Tiamat stayed by his side, but the other three moved out to cover the other teammates to aid their pokemon as well.
He winced at the sound that reverberated in the room, blinking when the male voice spoke up. "What the hell is going on here?"

Char flared his nostrils and stumped towards the blockage, snaking his head forward to get a better view. he asked softly.

"Oh for frack's sake..." Tambrey muttered as the attack didn't open the door.
She wasn't told to do it again, but a second failure seemed to snap something in Ella, and she bellowed, turned and decided to have another run-up immediately.

"Not sure. I was a field agent, not bloody maintenance. I don't go about admiring the vents." He huffed and focused his light on the vent, crouching down to get a bet look at the dimensions. "Flatline? Do you think you could fit in there?" He questioned looking over to teh virtual pokemon.
Flatline gave a displeased sound slowly moving to the vent.

Ella
The second attack was successful and sent the now badly damaged door swinging inward with a speed to rival a charging Lairon - for obvious reasons - and even knocked it off one of its hinges.
---
Char
Something flapped about again as the door was forced loudly inward, and a chatot was visible, sitting on the handle of a weight. It tilted its round head this way and that, studying him carefully before it trilled happily, looking quite pleased to hear another pokemon's voice. The little bird puffed its chest out and ruffled its feathers, looking very proud of itself.

Lex collapsed on the ground, pressing back and laughed slightly. His porygon settling on his lap, giving cheerful noises now he hadn't had to go in the vents. Okay. They weren't going to end up dead in the dark. Yay.

Kailee looked to Char. Her pokemon seemed to perk as they heard char trying to talk to it. A second boom on the door and Kailee was jumping at everything holding on to sissy as the wigglytuff hugged her. She blinked to Flatline going to the vent. "Anura... you could fit... and your tail could light it up... "
Brim heard the reply and relaxed, snorting walking up next to char. He glanced to Char and then at the pile of things that they could try to move.

Ah, well that was a relief. Char lowered his head so as to be on eye level with the small bird.
____
Aulus blinked.
"What?"
It was a Chatot. It was... it was actually a Chatot.

Ella's second try was more successful, and as the doors were flung open and two dark types streaked in followed closely by the Agent who commanded them. Spotting the group instantly and calling out to them. "Wheres going on?"

Ella couldn't help herself once the door was down. Slightly wild-eyed for a moment, she -bellowed- in triumph... and then promptly realised what she'd done and looked down sheepishly. But still proud.
Tambrey rushed in behind her steel type. "Everyone okay? Where's Tethys?!"

Tama jumped when the door crashing open happened, looking to the door hanging off its hinges. He sighed in slight relief, but what about the voices.
He looked to where it was coming from and saw. "A Chatot? Really?" Well, he guessed he couldn't be too mad. It probably imitated the voices to keep itself company if it truly was alone besides this David person. With that, he withdrew Quidal, Jezzabelle and Saphir.

Aulus waved a hand expressively across the room at Char and the Chatot. "Chatot," he managed to say, "It was a sodding Chatot." Everything still felt very strange and far away, knowing that - apparently - she wasn't here afterall didn't just turn off all the terror and adrenaline that raced through his veins.

Lex slowly got up and breathed slowly. "I hate birds." He decided, firmly. He hated that bird actually. He ran his hand through his hair, disrupting his hat and then fixed it.
"Tethys is right there." He muttered and pointed at the Chalot. He had been taken in by a darn polly.

He needed to move, to do something, not just be useless, but anything - anything - would make it all worse. If he just spaced out, stayed still, said nothing, they'd still hurt Kurt and him. But if he stayed still, it would be over sooner, and maybe.. maybe there'd be enough of them left for the next time, because they wouldn't kill them, just keep them, and.. he.. hadn't heard her again.
Had she forgotten?
After another minute, the blond's eyes began to refocus, and it occurred to him that this was.. a different room, and there were different people, and the loud thumping he'd heard had been the door being blown off its hinges, not his heart.
Hayes just stared at Faleen and Tambrey when they entered.
"A Chatot," he echoed, rather hollowly.
