Survey Corps Show Horse
Axel let out a yell of pain when the stupid horse's teeth sank into his arm. It let go quickly, before it did real damage, but the bite was throbbing.
Maybe... maybe he should just let the horse drown.
Axel grabbed for the horse's bridle again. It tried to bite him, but he yanked on the bridle. In retaliation, the horse tried to kick him, but only succeeded in kicking itself and Axel out into deeper water.
AAAAAAAARGH.

They had apparently reached an impasse, but Danny wasn't giving up on this guy.

Survey Corps Show Horse
"Get back here, you stupid horse!"...
...was what Axel WOULD have yelled, if he wasn't exhausted. Instead he just gritted his teeth and tried to drag the horse towards him, towards those little stairs. The horse resisted with all of its might, thrashing furiously. A sharp hoof scraped along his ribs in an enthusiastic attempt to crush his ribcage and leave him to die of internal bleeding.
Axel yelped in pain and hauled even harder on the horse's reins. Luckily the kick hadn't done much damage, and it seemed to have exhausted the horse, because now the ******** thing was sinking.

5. Woman in a Snail Costume Zin managed to haul out the businessman and his suitcase with his help; while she pulled, he kicked his way up the wall and pulled himself over the edge. Zin did not pause to listen to his breathless thanks; she got her rope free and tossed it in again. She'd have to save as many people as she could.

Fancy Hat LadyAlec's Sister Doppelganger joined the Preteen Girl Squad! Da-DA-da-DA-da-da-da-daaaa! Lenore threw the rope to a lady with a fancy hat, and the lady caught the rope with grace. Smooth, lady! With the new Preteen Girl Sqquad's strength, they were easily able to drag the lady out of the canal. Great success!

It was only moments before he was about to smash into the wall that the man realized he didn't want to smash into the wall.
"I want to live!" he shouted, scrambling onto the rope. Danny was caught off guard, but still managed to pull him in. mythee 2. Flailing Stationary Guardsman - saved!

Survey Corps Show Horse Axel's strength was flagging just like the horse's. The thought that he might be KILLED by a HORSE gave him the surge of strength to drag the thing by the reins towards the little steps. The horse's hooves found the steps and it clambered out immediately, shaking itself a bit like a dog. Axel trudged out after the horse. He was suddenly exhausted, overwhelmingly so. He seemed to have swallowed a deal of dirty canal water as well, which made him retch a bit on the way out. Fun. On dry land, Axel sat down. He was wet, exhausted, bruised from his fight with Preacher, and bruised by the horse's hooves. There was a bit ugly bite-shaped bruise on his forearm. He looked down at his chest. The horse's hoof had left a long sandpapery scrape along his ribs. Bright dots of blood sprung up as he watched. Also, his nose was bleeding again. There was a soft whuff from behind him and something nudged his shoulder. He looked up. It was the horse. Perhaps it was thanking him. It bit him again. Axel jumped to his feet, ready to punch the ******** horse in its ugly horse face. The horse backed away and trotted off to find its stupid master. Yep, this was definitely the worst day ever. Even worse than yesterday, shockingly. Mythee SAVED THE Survey Corps Show Horse , probably in much worse condition than it was when it went into the canal in the first place

As Danny was running back up the canal to join the rest of the group saving people, she noticed one woman having a particularly hard time. Her costume was shaped in a way that made it difficult to swim.
With a groan, Danny hoisted up her rope. "Hey! Look over here! I'm going to save you!"

So Shun went to throw at the other trainee's buddy. This one grabbed onto the rope nicely and such he was able to pull them to shore without a problem.

11. Bard with a Fiddle
Zin didn't bother to accept the next lady's thanks, or to question her about her amazing costume either. She pulled the rope off the lady's shell and tossed it into the canal again. Luckily, with so many people coming to their aid, it seemed that this disaster could be mitigated soon.
