Her face flushed, but not because Nyame had just realized that she had probably subconsciously dropped the Byakugan probably back when she confirmed her feelings for Shikaenja...hence the surprise tripping... "And I to you..." She murmured. A warm feeling settled in her heart, when the Nara joined his hand with hers and a surprised soft 'oh!' as he suddenly pulled her into an embrace. And she smiled softly, returning the embrace, as the gentle breeze sifted through her long hair. They...had just...exchanged the first binding vows with each other... And even if now, even if there is no one watching...
Main branch, cadet branch...it mattered very little. Both were bind by the restrictions of traditions, one a bird in a gilded cage, the other two an imprisoned bird... Yet, one day, one day...soon... Today... Why now of all times... So many birds are flying... ...free in the sky...

Shikaenja could tell what she was feeling, and he felt the same way. "My love. We can't." He said, and then he reached up, and took off his mask. He put it in the tool pouch, and the with his other hand he unitied his ponytail. His hair wasn't aslong as Nyames, but it was four inches away from hers. He shook his left and right, and then the wind blew. His hair flailing with it.
He smiled while looking at her. Putting his mask back on. He then took it off. "Nah I don't need it." He said, and then laughed a bit. "Lets go." He said, and then continued to walk along side of Nyame.

And she laughed.
"Who said you needed it?" A brilliant smile, laughter like the distant melody of crystal bells. The wind played with her lovely hair, ruffling it, and Nyame tucked a stray strand back behind her ear. She reached up, gently poking him on the forehead. There was no chakra channeled through her finger. Why would she, anyways? And if he trusted her, Shikaenja wouldn't flinch. "You know I don't like the masks..." A soft pause, her expression growing a little sad. Of course...the sentry captains...as tragically young as they were... Anzu was another story though, idiot found the mask a fascinating 'cool' piece.
"It's...not necessary..." ...to hide behind a mask... But the smile returned again. "Hey! I wonder if we'll be able to run across some new species of herbs along the way." Of course...early spring. The tender blossoms were in bloom and rare and exotic species would certainly be there, along the way.

Shikaenja like a little boy looked up at the finger poking without moving his head. He didn't move at all. He smiled, and then looked back at Nyame. "Why do you dislike the mask?" He asked, and then pulled out his wolf ANBU mask. He stared at it fo a second, and then smiled. "Remeber Anzu when he got his? He was entranced by it. A cool peice he called it." He said, and then put it away. "I like it. I don't have to have it exactly, but it hides my identity." He said, and then knew that this discussion wasn't going to end well.
Nyame then spoke about the new species of herbs that they could run across. Which would be cool. He wanted to find a new herb, and name it "Nyame Za May-chiisai-hime." Hopefully they did.

"Anzu's an idiot." She said simply, feather-light footsteps seemingly hardly contacting the earth. "You know...when you said you wanted to join the ANBU...and Anzu the hunters..." The breeze passed by, carrying a few sakura petals from elsewhere. Nyame caught one, plucked it from the wind. "I thought it was all over for our team..."
She didn't have to explain further, that fear: it was common knowledge many went insane from the brutalities of service to the black ops forces. Anzu...was it perhaps just something common to his clan's good nature... But he had remained surprisingly pure. A calming aura, a pure chakra...with the captain calm, it brought the same serenity to his troops. It wasn't just a matter of strength...of physical power alone...but also strength of spirit.
"I could never..." Nyame was referring to her decision to not join the ANBU. Though she had killed too - it was expected of one holding the rank of Jounin...however... Just because it was necessary for the survival of the village didn't mean she found it evil. But why then, why didn't she go into the medic field? The reason was simple. Nyame found that one who didn't understand the meaning of life or death didn't have the right to save or kill... Anzu...he always shared his lifeforce with nature, through his Mokouton. And she envied him in some respects...knowing his life was draining...yet could still go on...in his understanding of what was precious and what was lost...
And...she hated herself too. Though she was pacifistic, the Council says...too gentle for war...yet still, Nyame created weapons that brought destruction and shed blood. The Council awaited the day that Nyame would be able to forge a God's Legacy...knowing she was in the best position to bring a new addition to the legacy items...
...but she had no desire to forge a Master piece that would only be misused...

He watched as Nyame plucked a petal out of the sky, and held it in her hand. He knew that the pressures of the hunter, and Black Ops were high but he had nothing to worry about. He looked over at her. It was her aura, and beauty that could stop a man in his tracks, and train of thought/ He saw them both, and instantly fell. If Shikaenja hadn't been so damn stuburn then he would have known how she felt a long time ago. "Nyame." He said, and then he exhaled heavily.
"When you stuck up for me that night I recieved my mission. It hurt for me to say what I said. Because in trueth what you said did effect me." He said, and then she said "I could never..." and he knew that she wasn't going to. "It's ok Nyame. Our team will never die." He said, and then thought about Anzu. What would happened if they had left, and went missing. What would happen if he had feelings for Nyame as well.

((Let's save rolling to every other day (per 10 posts). Since it's a bit unnecessary to keep doing them. xDD))
There was a certain grace about the Hyuuga princess, a royal-like aura, as she held the petal close to her bosom and observed it through half-lidded eyes. She wasn't wearing her usually elaborate robes, certainly, but her beauty did not at all diminish even wearing her current drab garb: a simple black yukata (like Shizune's). "If either you or Anzu...if something had happened..." She allowed the petal to float away in the wind. "...I wouldn't know what to do." It was only a metaphor, however. In fact...it was almost perfectly clear.
Hyuuga clan had remained loyal to Konoha all these long centuries, because something ties them to the village. They were a fiercely proud people, the Hyuuga nobles...even historically, they had been the last of the founding families to join Konoha. Simply, they do not invest in a failing venture. If Nyame had believed Konoha was a failure to her...without anyone dear tying her to the village still, it was crystal clear that she would've left.

The mountain path was ordealous, but Juuri treated it as if it was just as simple as walking down the street. Well...the Fujiko shamaness did travel most of her life after all. One could say that she was used to these sort of ordeals. Now, her companions...they were fortunate to have a spiritseer as a guide. A lot like the Hyuugas with their Byakugan, a high-ranking Fujiko shaman could call on spirit guides.
In Juuri's case, her spirit guides took on the form of ghostly sakura blossoms. They could act almost as if they were extra-sensory beacons too, and increase the range of which she could "feel" the path in a radius - and avoid avalanches before they even happen. But they were fortunate. It wasn't exactly like they were heading to Iwa, where the mountain path would only grow more arduous. As they proceeded following the trail, it was clear that the elevation instead was gradually decreasing.

The shamaness might've been fine with mountain climbing...but...
Poor Irihi (expression: =_='' ).
Lailah let out a sympathizing whine, as her master huffed and puffed his way through the trail. "Don't worry, Lailah..." He muttered, reassuring the albino wolf pup. "If I can't endure this, I'll never grow stronger... See? See, Lailah? The pretty lady could walk through this fine..." More huffing and puffing. "I'll be fine...darn...why did Hyuuga have to be so physically frail..." Only fourteen, yet Irihi felt he was sixty-four...with the rate he was climbing, struggling to follow the shamaness.

Megumi smiled... This could be over so much faster with Shunshin.... She could carry Irihi, but she wasn't sure the shamaness would want to make the trip go any faster. Megumi would have to make the best of it. Sighing, she continued to walk, nonchalantly walking up and over anything in her way, like she always did. Is it to hard to keep your feet on the ground? Shhh.... She's having such naughty thoughts. Megumi laughed in their mind

"Hey. Juuri-san?" The halfblood Hyuuga asked curiously, trying to pluck one of the shamaness' floating sakura petals out of the air. But his hand only felt air. He seemed a bit disappointed, as odd it was...since there was lots of flowers in bloom at this current season in Konoha. "These are spirits right? But why take this form?" Irihi tried again, to catch a few of the floating petals. "They're pretty..." He laughed. "They look like normal sakura petals...but glows!" Like the child he is, Irihi happily cupped his hands around one of the glowing petals. Lailah, first sniffing suspiciously, then let out a happy bark - of agreement.

The Fujiko shamaness rewarded the child with one of her rare smiles. A faint smile, like that of a lovely doll... "Normal people can't see spirits." She replied softly. "These are one of the few spirits they can see..." Her expression grew distant. "A low-leveled spirit class...but they are very helpful..." Strange. Why would she summon only low-leveled tracking spirits?

The shamaness and her spirits would undoubtedly be sharply aware of Megumi's gaze... She was confused... She was... being stupid. She sighed softly. A priestess... She might as well be staring at a nun for all the good it would do her. She grew extremely frustrated with herself. She decided to take her internal battle into the open. And she would. She would beat this out of herself. She was calculating just how many shadow clones she could make, and how far ahead she would need to go to beat the hell out of them and not fall behind.

"Me-gu-mi-sen-sei?" Irihi's face had suddenly gotten very close. Pale eyes peered curiously into heterochromic ones. Clearly, the teen had no idea of what was going on, just that Megumi-sensei was acting a little strangely. Question marks floated above his head. "Kage Bunshin calculation helps with traveling??? Huh?" Even Lailah shook her head. Sometimes, her master could be really clueless.

Megumi smiled softly, making a seal under her trenchcoat as two spitting images of herself appeared. "It makes the best of the time we are using. I know none of us want to be out of shape when we get to Suna, am I right?" The real Megumi and one of her clones jumped so quickly that Irihi hardly saw them, and the next thing he heard was the clash of two swords further ahead. The only thing he saw as they vanished was the sparks from the said collision.
Both the fighting Megumi's performed a kawarimi on a stone and flung it far forward. They fought and moved forward at the same time. They both attempted a strike from their right shoulder diagonally across, and clashed in midstride, each with unwavering intent in their eyes.

"..." Juuri had stopped for a moment, long enough that her gaze settled on Megumi for a moment. Her spirit servants...what they say to her, only she could hear after all. Is that so. But turning again, she said nothing. It was amusing to think...how people always assumed the high priestess of Suna was pure - simply on account of her beauty. The truth couldn't have been more different... For a young girl abandoned to the cold world...there was not many choices for survival. A breeze passed by, complementing the floating sakura blossoms in the wind...real ones or her spirit servants. She tucked a stray strand of long hair, blown slightly astray by the breeze, behind her ear.

Irihi pouted. "Oh ok! Lailah and I should pra-!" He had tripped and... Huh? Air caught him? Juuri had stopped again, one open palm held forth. If he squinted, even without his Byakugan, Irihi was certain he saw the faint glow of green-blue chakra. Uwah... Her chakra was such a pretty colour, too! Like the ocean waters, when the sun is casting its magnificent rays over...making the waters glitter. But...there was one thing he found rather strange. "Juuri-san, don't the priestesses leave their hair long?" A pause. "Because cutting their hair meant cutting spiritual power?"
To Suna Posts: 4/40
"The people like to believe that." Came the quiet response. "We shamans are dedicated to okami-sama early...the long hair especially for the young girls...are to symbolize that." Her gaze met the boy's. "However...for a shaman who has strayed...there is no longer a need for such a thing..." Why would this child ask such a thing...like that man's words... Now it was only a memory. A flicker in the past. But it stayed... 'You know, you really should grow out your hair.' Taida Marcus. She wondered how he was doing.

Megumi Hp: 626/630
Megumi and Megumi continued to fight, flashing back and forth along the horizon, her brothers watching in amusement. The voice that came form Megumi's mouth was most notably male. "You know... We haven't seen her this split down the middle about anything since she had been diagnosed..." They laughed softly. Megumi was fighting herself with an intensity, and they were pulling out all the stops. Both Megumi's pulled a second katana out from under their coats, and they resumed their battle, disappearing suddenly and reappearing, jumping at each other.
They quickly beat at each other, spinning in circles as their blades collided four times, then Megumi sliced a small cut along the real Megumi's cheek, who responded with a slash that cut a line in the trenchcoat of the opponent. All four katanas came together as the Megumi's pressed again, looking into each others eyes angrily
