The watcher heard one more crash and she turned around only to see the Fois managed to pounce the the pidgey he was chasing. Valarie ran up to him and picked him up and off of the knocked out pokemon.
"I hope you weren't planning on eating him." She leaned in a bit closer, "I knew what you were planning."
Fois looked up at Valarie with his huge, red eyes.
'Don't try to be innocent!" She sighed in exasperation, "Alright, time to find a balloon and get you all healed up."

  Location: Balloon Basket Interacting with: Anyone, Vana?, Sienna? Fifi tucked herself in a corner of the balloon basket, sitting down with her smallish white and blue pack next to her. For some reason the Pidgey didn't appear to want to attack the balloons, and were leaving the baskets alone. Fifi's thigh highs were hopelessly ruined, torn at the knees and stained from dropping down onto the deck so many times. The rest of her outfit could dust off, but the thigh highs had to go, she decided. Unclipping them from the garter clips on the bottom of her ruffled bloomers, she rolled down first one, then the other. Pulling a flat package from one pocket, Fifi shook out the white material, revealing two new thigh highs. Shortly after, Fifi finished fastening her second thigh high to the garter, and stood. Dusting off her skirt she tapped the toe of her right shoe a few times to settle it and started smoothing her hair and winding the ringlets back into a semblance of order. Smiling shakily, she nudged Alastyn to the side and looked around the basket.

Location: Balloon basket Interacting with: Fifi, Anyone Sienna had been so busy hiding from the storm of pidgey, feeding her pokemon, and checking on her own state that she hadn't noticed who else was in the basket. There was another girl, who also appeared to be in a ragged state, except for her new tights. In addition to her changing her tights, Sienna also found it odd that she had a ponyta in the basket with her. The girl took her ponyta on a balloon riding trip...? That ponyta must have loved flying! She couldn't see why else the other girl would bring a large, land-bound pokemon on such a trip. Sienna quickly decided that this girl, with her pretty looks and soft style and consideration for her ponyta, was probably a very nice person. The bird keeper looked down at her pokemon briefly, who had finished his berry and seemed to be interested in taking a nap in her arms. She smiled slightly at him and then looked back at the girl. "Hi there! Made it past the pidgeys alright? I'm Sienna, by the way."

 When they heard the Captain’s announcement, Eros started immediately for the upper decks. But he plastered himself against the wall when a Pidgey whizzed past his head. He closed his eyes tight and stood frozen for several moments. Had he been right about the Pokémon crew? Was the Pidgey swarm in league with them? Something tugged at the boy’s pant leg, and he carefully opened one eye, looking down to see Dido pawing insistently. “Skitty, skit skit!” There was no point waiting here to be massacred. Eros gathered Dido into his arms, hunched over her, and barreled up the stairs with a yell. The Pidgey rained down pecks on his back. Pidgey: 1, Eros: 0

Dido wiggled out just enough to deliver a swat across the beak of an oncoming Pidgey, sending it tumbling away, chirping in distress. Pidgey: 2, Eros: 1

Another Pidgey dove in for a strike at Eros's ear, but he managed to duck at the last moment -- and the Pidgey went careening into the rigging. Pidgey: 2, Eros: 2
