Maximos just met her with bright eyes, and a smile. His mind and heart swirling with thoughts and doubts, and feelings, and questions, he just didnt want to deal with for fear of ruining the moment.

He just wanted to be lost in this moment for as long as it lasted. Her sudden realization jolted him out of the swirl of thoughts that had currently seized his attention.

Oh no no! Its ok. I'm sure Walter can handle things. And Teira will be fine for just a little while.

He paused for a moment realizing how that must sound, and decided to fill in a few of the gaps.

I found her, a fragment of a soul wandering outside her body...completely blank, no memory of who she was or...or really anything. I was just teaching her how to eat dinner.

He gave something of a proud nod, like a proud father mentioning one of his child rearing accomplishments. Him as a father, the idea made him laugh a bit to himself.

"Teira? Not a name I'm familiar with..."

The Senshi sat thinking for a short while, running a hand through her shortened hair. She was a little surprised that Maximos didn't seem to have noticed or be bother by it. Little Juuni's hair had become a lot shorter as a result but with the coming summer the little girl did not seem to have minded much and was currently sat in the bodies sub-conscious watching D very closely.

Her shoulders ached slightly and she rolled them and grimaced slightly as they audiable cracked. It had been a while since she had done any serious flying and the trip here had caused her muscles and spine to ache. Still, at least she was all in one piece!

Me either!

He said with a smile, sort of nervously scratching the back of his head.

Thats just what I named her. Its short for, Teiraesia kos.

He sort of adjusted his sitting, so that the two of them could face the sunset. And so his left leg wouldnt be falling asleep.

Thats elven for mystery girl. She sort of has ears like an elf.

He gestured over to the windmill.

I was atop the Mill meditating when I heard crying. I followed it to a place far far on the edge of my reach, to find a girl. Before I could even ask who she was, she had erased herself!

He held up his right hand.

My arm brushed against her when she startled me and accidentally pulled her here. She doesnt remember much of anything, how to talk, who she was....anything...

And he just sort of scratched the side of his head, seeing as how he really hadnt planned where to proceed with Teira from here. He couldnt share his plans with Juuni. Beside, he didnt want to rant anymore.

"Mmm..."

Juunikyuu laid back on the grass, feeling safe with the presence of Maximos beside her. The sunset really was beautiful, particularly from this height. Juunikyuu remembered when she used to chase cloud across the sky until it grew dark whilst she was still young in the heavens. The sheer effort the flight had taken gradually began to show and Juunikyuu found it harder and harder to keep her eyes open. Eventuall her head lolled to the side and she fell into a light sleep, tal tip twitching, left hand resting on Maxi's right.

It had been a long day. A very long day, and as Maximos finished up his dissertation on Teira, and looked to his side to see Juuni fast asleep, he couldnt help but agree with the feeling that that, just may have been the best thing to do.

He slowly laid back, making sure not to disturb her too much, his spikey hair flattening against the soft grass. His eye eased themselves closed, his worries faded and silenced. And he slipped off into sleep. Catching some well deserved "Zzz's".

Teira, after she'd finished her dinner had promptly fallen asleep. Apparently, her exuberance DID have a limit after all, and the the shadow elf had worn herself out.

She would awake for a good several hours, but when she did... it would only take a moment of panic, before fear faded and curiosity overrode the system.

Teira was on the prowl!~ Her long pointed ears twitched as she heard Walter close by.

Sneaking out of the room, she began stalking the old butler playfully before finally pouncing--

As she drifted off to sleep, Walter would slip in quietly like the most stealthy sort of ninja. With the tip of his index and middle finger he gently tipped her chair back leaning it against his knee as he kindly scooted Lady Teira out of her chair, and carried her to a guest room. Ever so kindly laying her in the bed, and covering her with a fresh set of sheets, before resuming his cleaning of the dishes.

It was only by luck, that Walter was sweeping the hallway just outside of Teira's guest room when she awoke. He of course would not dream of spoiling the good ladies fun, and so continued sweeping as if completely obvious, when he was pounced. The good lady, landing square on his back, his hands slipping off the broom, and behind his back to help her get a nice firm piggy back grip on his back.

The broom just sort of continued sweeping all on its own, in a very odd manner.

Walter just laughed a bit below his breath, always maintaining a firm level of composure. His turned his back, to the side his eyes catching her out of his peripheral vision.

And how is the good lady feeling today?

Teira squeaked and thrashed for a moment as Walter's arms secured around her to hold her in place, piggy back style. She quickly settled however-- or rather froze out of shock her hand reaching past his cheek to point at the broom that was dancing through and sweeping the hallway all by itself. She just stared wide eyed, then turned her head slowly to look at Walter.

Something about him called to her, intrigued her curiosity. Sort of the same way that Maxi had. They both did wonderful tricks-- tricks that made her feel funny. Tingly. Magick--- but she didn't know that.

Right now every aspect of her was asleep. Teira was like a sleepwalker-- Moving, talking, functioning without remembering anything.

Her memories, her true self-- Sierra, slept. Isolated by her mind to try and protect her from destroying herself. And with her, her magick and abilities. But a being with that much innate potential and energy, couldn't be exposed to such strong energies and not stir a little in their sleep.

Her ability to feel the metaphysical was kicking in groggily. Faintly... the presence of magick only felt like a faint tickle so far. But for how long?

For some reason, the broom amused her. She nestled against Walter's back.. he was still tricksy, but like this... he was comfy too.

And how is the good lady feeling today?

Now, granted that was a full and formal response, but it was a shriek of pain, or a downfall of tears either. Infact, it was rather positive. And so he just took it from there.

Good, I take it your sleep was restful.

Walter never gave on how much he knew. He had been in the Shadow Realm for countless millenniums and his true sense and abilities were really know only to himself. Did he know Sierra's situation? Could he help? He never said. He always just held and off look in his eyes like he knew a little more than he was saying.

He took note of the way she pointed at the broom. Extending his right hand, and calling the wooden broom into his hand, and reaching it up to her. Just so she could get a closer look, a closer touch.

Its enchanted, here have a closer look.

She blinks over his shoulder, the hand grasping the wooden handle apprehensively, but only for a split second as she got the equivalent of an electrical zap from the enchanted item. Jerking her hand back to suck on it, dropping the broom as hiss escapes her crimson lips as her eyes flashed, startled and somewhat feral as she clung tighter to Walter's back. No small bit scared.

A spark, sparks happen when a charge from within conflicts with a charge from without. Walter just smirked, twirling the broom from his hand and setting it loose to continue sweeping the hall.

My apologies, my lady. Let us be off toward the Masters orders.

Walter was off, light feet carried him down the halls, a duck here, a turn there, another turn. No one knew this house like Walter. And while the decorations changed in various wings of the house, the halls were still so confusing to the untrained eye.

In a few minutes he stood before another set of double doors and briskly pushed them open.

What lay behind them was a labyrinth, a veritable maze of books. Some on shelves myriads of shelves and others just stacked on each other like pillars reaching up a dozen feet or so, nearly scraping at the ceiling. Not a shelf was empty, and not a book looked new or clean. Each was aged dusty.

The calm, stately butler led the Lady through the maze of shelves to a small nook. There as a padded chair, and a pile of cushions on the floor. Basically a bed of pillows if you will, next to a warm roaring fireplace blazing rich lavender emblazonment.

Walter finally came to a stop in front the bed of pillows, turned around and eased his grip on Teira to sort of ease her to the pillows below. While, he took a seat in the chair, and grabbed on the of the books beside him. He gently tapped the book, and handed it to Teira saying.

This...is a book.

Teira squeaked and held on tight as Walter raced through the halls. At first she was still timid and scared, but she quickly began to enjoy the ride and chirped her contentment, giggling as she was bounced along at a speedy pace. Plunked down in a pile of pillows she grins up at him dizzily, trying to focus on what he was showing her.

Her eyes widen slightly as she reaches her hands out for it, as if it were a treasure.

"B-o-oo-k"

She said softly. As if, instinctively, she knew books were to be handled lovingly.

Good.

Walter said like a calm teacher should, taking a moment to adjust his monocle, and his white gloves before leaning forward, the aged wood squeaking.

He reached his hand forward, peeling open the book while it still lay in her hands. His finger gently scanning down the side of the page as if to highlight the text that lay within it, and draw her eyes to the way in which it was printed down the page.

The words were in average common. Though for Teira that might as well have been ancient Draconian.

These...are words.

Her eyes nearly popped out of her head as her gaze strained and poured over the page. She clutched at the book for a moment as if she couldn't believe what she was seeing and the shook her head rapidly. A headache forming behind her eyes.

Juunikyuu twitched a little in her sleep as a soft and cool breeze swirled across the garden and wrapped her in it's slightly icy touch. The Senshi gave a small growl and curled a little tighter before unwillingly opening her eyes and blinking a couple of times, lifting her right hand to rub them lazily as she gave a great yawn which exposed her fangs. Arching her back and grimacing a little as it clicked she sat up, rolling her left shoulder which felt particularly stiff.

As she sat up her ears twitched as it felt like a surge of energy raced through her body. She sat, stiff and poised with her ears twitching. Although the Senshi did not know it Sierra had just reiceved a spark off the broom and it was this that she was picking up on. Shaking her head to clear the cobwebs Juunikyuu looked around her, piecing together where she was and what had happened last-

Her wondering thoughts were brutally cut off and came crashing back down to Gaia when her gaze fell upon the sleeping Maximos.

Juunikyuu blinked again as she rubbed her eyes and looked again.

A huge teary smile broke across her face as all that had happened came flooding back through the sleepy mists and she sat back, resting on one arm as she lifted the other the brush a stray lock of his hair from his face.
