Figuring he'd better start hitting balloons for real and stop with being grumpy, Marosa concentrated and hit nothing but pink balloons. A few missed, but he was ultimately happy with what he had achieved, and slid on over to the prize booth to collect his winnings.

Back for another try, Frost picked up the darts. Breaking hearts wasn't really that bad when he thought about it. Hearts healed. Balloon hearts... not so much but the metaphor was nice he supposed. What didn't kill you made you stronger and some other such nonsense. The sayings didn't help him win however, so that was a bust.
Last time he'd only managed one point. This time... this time he wanted to do better. Or at least try to in any event. He was supposed to be an alpha. So, he was supposed to be the best right? To bad he kept sucking.
Nothing good was coming of these baloons. He was flubbing all over the jacking place and had very little control with his aim. He needed Jove luck. Or Mot to help him. Someone who could aim better than him or give him luck at any rate... tossing his last darts wildly, the ghost stared at the results. Clearly to win, one had to not aim at all.
Efflo was busy perfecting his throwing arm, but not so busy that his nose didn't pick up a lingering scent of peppermint. Ears, perked, he turned and spotted Frost at the booth. Maybe this wasn't so bad after all!
"H-hi, Frost!" he greeted the other boil, hoping the wolfos wasn't going to be bothered by him.
