Tray watched him then turned and followed the new king keeping up easily. "Since we are going out of the castle perhaps I should put my armor on before we leave." Considering all she was wearing were her plain peasant clothes, she almost felt like she had nothing on since she didn't have any weapons or protection on her.

"...Yeah, we both should do that." replied Beck with some thought. He then turned and began to walk up the stairs before saying "I don't want another attack like in the Square." With that, he disappeared behind the door.

Tray watched him for a moment and stood outside his room before then turning in for her own. She walked over to her dresser and started to take her peasant clothes off so she could put her armor on.

Beck placed on his lightweight clothing and some armor. Mainly his pauldrons, bracers, and leg armor. After sheathing a basic broadsword, he walked out and smiled while looking himself over. It was very mobile and helped made him quick, something he deemed necessary.

Tray sighed as she put on her basic clothes first when went to put her armor on, as she looked at her breastplate she stared at it and blinked. "I need to get this repaired." Since the battle it had definitely gotten some dings in it. She sighed at the thought of having to have it repaired again, it was the tenth time in the last few months and half the time is was rushed so the work wasn't as thoroughly done.

Beck walked over to Tray's door and knocked, asking "Are you ready?" His mind was already going through various jobs that needed to be filled so that they could get it done quickly. He would then go to the Town Square and probably spend the rest of the day there, seeing what the public wanted.

Tray looked back at her door and blinked then she looked at her breastplate again and put it on her, she put the rest of her gear on then headed for the door she opened it and looked up at him. "Ready your majesty, where to first?"

"Let's check out the bakery." he smiled, holding out his arm for Tray to hold.

Tray looked at Beck's arm and blinked at first she was confused then she realized what he was doing and sighed in her head and bit her lip for a moment then took hold of his arm, she wondered what on earth she was really doing, she hoped she would get an answer soon.

A small smile crossed the kings lips as he looked at Tray before beginning to walk towards the staircase that lead to the huge front door of the castle. His heart skipped a beat at the touch of Tray's hold before he even began to walk.

Tray walked quietly next to the King as he led her out of the castle. Part of her felt foolish, the Kings, once was teacher, clinging to him like a dainty little girl needing protection. Though that scenario would only fit better if she was wearing a dress rather then armor. She glanced up at him as they walked then looked ahead again before looking down at the floor again. Was this really what she had come to? A part of her wanted to pull away but at the same time, she did not want to hurt him further, that alone would make her feel guilty.
Realizing that, was she truly thinking of Beck as more then just the Heir to the throne that she trained so he could take back his birthright? Or was there something more their? Now that the war had been won, she honestly didn't know what else she could do. Perhaps maybe that answer was staring at her in the face, a face of happy, optimistic enthusiasm. She glanced back up at Beck again before looking ahead once more.

Beck noticed how they walked on in silence, this usually meant that Tray was in thought of something. The King thought about what positions needed to be filled and who was deserving. The first place to stop would be bakeries. As they exited a man came running up to them with a paper, bowing before them. "Your Highness, here are the results of the man who was kept for interrogation." He then held out the rolled up news. "Place it on my nightstand. I'll tend to it later." said Beck with a small smile. The man bowed once more before heading inside to do as Beck ordered. "That's going to take some getting used too." chuckled the man as they kept walking down the stairs and towards the market town.

Tray watched Beck out of the corner of her eye and then looked behind her towards the man as he ran inside then she looked at Beck once more and blinked. "What will take getting used to?"

"Being bowed too and stuff like that." he said with a small chuckle as they neared the markets. The sounds and noises made sent a wave of nostalgia through Beck as he remembered the life he had before Tray had taken him for his training to his current life. He looked at Tray with a smile and said "It feels good to be back...let's see if my favorite bakery is still open." With that Beck began to walk through the crowd of awed citizens. Beck's senses were still open to anything dangerous but he showed as though he was excited and forgetful. A tactic to lure any nearby enemies.

Tray watched him and blinked, she hadn't seen him this carefree in a long time, at least not since they first started his training. She eventually stopped, letting go of Beck's arm in the process.
