"In that case, here's something to think about...." As her head was still close, he leaned in and gave her a full on kiss on the lips, then went limp. His breathing was slowed but still alive, recovering was going to take time even for a yokai.

*Eve wasn't too supprized about the kiss, but she smiled afterwords and hugged him close, basicly pushing his head into her chest. "I've already done my share of thinking..." She whispered and she smiled down to him, "slee..." she pulsed and suddenly she looked away. She glared. Somthing was there. Eve lightly made sure he was layed aginst the tree comfortabley before she stood fully toword two glowing eyes in the darkness of the forest, just out of the light. She glared and put her hand to her pistol, but staying near Hiyo if possable, "go on. Leave us be..." she warned. Suddenly hundreds of eyes started to appear all around them. But the one she saw first slowly stepped out to reveal a huge black wolf growling at Eve. Course Eve knew where they were, in the greatest wolf forest known to mankind. There would be no simple threat here if she challenged the pack. However eve stomped her foot and stood her ground. "We are passing through with wounded, we wish for no trouble." She spoke as if it was a person leading a army all around them.

The head wolf growled deeply, threatened by her posture. "We do not allow trespassers into these woods, not since the winds began carrying the scent of death and blood. War is coming into these lands, and we will not become victims to it. Your wounded reeks of corruption, a darkness that controlled over all from ages past, long before your kind learned to walk on two legs. A demon's stench, and more powerful than the one who tried to bargain with us, the self-proclaimed queen, months ago." The wolves slowly began to shrink the distance, leaving no gap to escape to. They were trapped, and one couldn't even move.

*Eve glared, "after what i just been through dont even think about ******** with me." Her hair cought on fire as she started to turn ablaze, starting to glow, "i'll burn each and every one of you assholes. I'm taking my boy to a safe place, eithe rlet me pass through with no trouble, i'll i'll burn down this entire forest in less then a second, you along with it. Make your choice." She spat as she glared at the leader. She wasn't taking chances this time, she was already in heat becuse of the veria thing, and the stress of hiyo being alright. She didn't need this. They wanted a fight, then they would get one. She was only defending herself and her wounded kitsune. Nothing more.

Most of the wolves back off, even getting the leader to back a pace. "Ah, the Yokai Princess. Our apologies for not recognizing you, it's been far too long since we've even heard of your existence. We shall back off, but do not make yourself welcome here, unless you want to be here for the battle to come. Demons advance from the wastes, and will be here at next daylight. Good day, princess..." He wasn't impressed with the intrusion, but knew that getting in a fight with her would not leave them with anyone to protect their land. With a bow, he howled deeply and the wolves fell back into the darkness. Silence soon fell over the duo, Hiyo's breathing being the only thing for almost a mile.

Eve powered down and decided to keep moving. Even without rest for herself. However her back off from a fight? From a battle she could turnthte tide to, turning her back to a cry for help? This was truly a odd thing but she had no choice. This is what she chose. She had hiyo on her back, his head resting on her shoulder and she kept moving as the mists of the forest soon set in before the don. She climed the small mountain and upon the peek finally stopped for a break. There wasn't much farther to go... she could see the city way off in the distence now. She looked to hiyo. No she couldn't stop here, his life was in her hands. She carryed on.

Hiyo wasn't having the best of sleep since E-Hiyo had left behind the Shadow he had summoned up. It's corruption over him was enough that it could, if it wanted to, start the battle for possession. So far it remained silent, being the patient one to wait for the opportunity. What it wanted, really, was a challenge for once; taking other's forms was always too easy, and they always had themselves isolated from any outside support. This time, it would have to get past not only Hiyo from within, but Eve from outside as well. From the few times it ever came out, it was enough for the demon to realize just who she was; the Princess of Yokai, who was the strongest physically amongst her family. It sneered with joy, anticipating the next encounter being the last, for either himself or her, was just about anyone's guess. As for Hiyo himself, he phased between being awake and out cold. Each time being pulled back into the darkness that was currently his nonfunctioning mind. For the few times he was awake, he tried to get out a warning of some kind to her about the Shadow, but alas, nothing that she could understand came out. Even as they came into the city that haunted his head from the last Omen he had, focus was impossible. But the cold snow made him a bit comfortable knowing that there was hope yet.

*Eve took hiyo all the way into the town and headed stright for a house in perticular. There she came upon a small little shack like house with a geroge ot he side. Small, yellow in color. A man slowly opened the door, but seeing eve he instantly opened it, "the hell it's been ages. Why the hell did you come here, you know the rules." Eve helped herself past him and into the room where she put hiyo down ever so carfully in a chair as he locked the door behind him. Eve turned to him and motioned him into the other room sadly she didn't know the words could still be heard. "I need you to watch him for me. Take care of him, he just had a demon pulled out of him. I have somthing i have to do and... i cant take him into danger." The man stood over eve, "no. You know the rules Eve, we arn't suppost to..." Eve put a hand on his neck collor and her hair started to glow, "I NEED YOU TO DO THIS!" SHe was shaking it seemed as she easied and pulled away, "he's personal to me. And he's hurt. I can't do anything for him but wait, but i can't go anywhere without danger following. Just a few weeks... please." The man shied, "alright... just a few weeks nothing more. A month is pushing it too far though. If the others find out about this..." Eve shook her head and crossed her arms, "then i'll resort to whatever needed. It's not often i ever asked our kind for help. I need this." He nodded, "alright alright. Leave it to me." Eve nodded and slowly turned to head for the door as he stepped back out to the living room, "no last words to him?" Eve turned around and looked to Hiyo, "if you can hear me... i need you to stay with... a close freind. I have to shake somthing off. Hang in there and be strong for me. I'll be back soon." With that she headed out the door.
((now it's time to play as hiyo getting better over time, with this mysterious character 0w0 part of eves past))

Yuji jr ((now it's time to play as hiyo getting better over time, with this mysterious character 0w0 part of eves past)) ((Ah, this'll be interesting then biggrin )) Hiyo watched her go out the door, leaving him alone with the stranger. "Eve..." Since their traveling, his energy was coming back more quickly this time, enough for him to stand up slowly and look around. "Ooh, still hurts..." He went around the house, finally finding the owner. "Excuse me, you must be Eve's friend?"

*The man was quick to turn Hiyo around and lead him back to a chair, "you shouldn't push yourself kiddo." He let Hiyo sit down on the couch as he took sat down in a chair accross from him, "I'll admitt i'm not used to compiney so... bare with me. Eve never asked favors of us." He shrugged, "but she seemed pretty stressed." He leaned forword, "the names Todd..." he pulsed as if to add somthing but stopped. "What exacly are you to Eve?"

Hiyo listened, now knowing what to call him, as the few words told held some meaning that he would, hopefully, find out. "I wish I knew the answer to that myself. But.... what do you mean, 'us?' What exactly is this place?"

*Todd rose a brow and looked around, "whats it look like. This is my house." He chukkled, "i see the situation then. It's not like Eve to attach to someone enought to bring them here. Somthing big must be going down in her head." He leaned back, "heres the rule. From this point if you ever speak to anyone other then me or Eve there are sever consiquinces. There are 7 of us total. Each a elemental, and each what the world called for decades, Recivers. It's more of a title but either way. Eve's the last known one to exsist. She draws the attention for the rest of us to lay low and dissapear. The rules state we arn't to meet up again untill the fate of the universe is in trouble again. So needless to say, if anyone finds out about this there will be alot of trouble." Todd leaned forword, "do you understand?"

"Oh, I see...." Hiyo had something in mind, so he presented the thought. "So I take it that you and Eve are siblings as well? I've already seen Veria, and Eve mentioned that she had others as well... but I could be wrong about that." He laughed weakly as his fox ears flopped down.

*Todd burst out laughing, "siblings?" He shook his head, "no boy I not of royalty like her. Here i'll explain. Way back after the ending fo the anchants, there was a last bit of tecnology saved by a orginization of sceintists and what not. Anchant Nano Tecnology. They had enough however of the extreamly rare matrail to only use it on a totle of 7 people. And so they chose seven kids at the ages of two to four or five. Which is the seven of us, each gathered from a diffrent place. We were able to fuse with the nano tecnology with our spechal super rare blood types, somthing only elementals have. And so we were known as the first anchant built and modified super warriors. We would save civilions and win any war or battle. The people back then finally gave us a name, Reciver. Meaning the 7 great kids that recived the ultamate gift... however as the orginization fell and the members died of greed and sorrow the seven of us found ourselves no longer taking orders. There alot of detail to it, but you should as eve about that. However what no one understands is the down sides to the horrable nanomites inside of our blood. It's more of a curse now then a spechal great thing. And we each agreed to go off the map and dissapear into the world in seprate directions. Course Eve, the main member of us all stuck to her warrior ways like glue and she draws off the rest of the agro from us so we arn't found out. And we all learned she was a princess of a man who became king and bla bla bla." He chukkled, "i'll take qeustions now.'"

Hiyo felt that most of this was skeptical, but since the past month of his life changed completely, he was open to just about anything. "Kay, here's a weird one for you: Have any of you once heard of a Seer, but not like any silly magician with card tricks and crystal orbs. I mean, like, having visions of future events before they happen. Anything like that?" Since he could never ask this of Eve, perhaps he could get a real answer this time from Todd.
