 Niji Han"I love you too, nii-San...." She smiled only to feel Ethan take her hand. "Then hug me, damn it!!" She mumbled, using a fun new phrase shed picked up on her way to the school as she pulled the shy citrus-smelling boy into a group hug. {translation:}

๑۩۞۩๑๑۩ﺴ Some shadows have more depth. ﺴ۩๑ Hmm, that couch was starting to look better. This was a heartwarming sight, it honestly was, but it didn't quite feel like Ethan's place for it. He was fine with heading out, he could always work on homework or call his brother, but it felt so dang awkward having to hold the little girl's hand when it was obviously a brother-sister bonding moment.
Seeing the two talk back and forth, Ethan pictured how his own brother would try and help when he was sad.
"Quit crying, baby!"
Ah, that's right. Mark was usually the one to make him cry...

"Do that and I'll give you a wedgie, crybaby!"
Ethan stared off into space as he reminisced over his childhood times. Huh.... I really hate you, Mark, he thought until he felt something in his arms. Blinking, he looked down and noticed Niji giving him a questioning look. "Huh? Umm..." Before he could even answer, he felt fingers at the back of his head and soon found himself staring in Lock's eyes. His blood ran cold for a second, expecting a thick verbal lashing.
...Oh. Well this was a pleasant surprise. "Ha ha, it was nothing!" Ethan laughed, running off of the adrenaline his fear induced him with. "A big dog came and I was all, 'You won't touch this little girl with me around!' and the dog just left! Pretty impressive, right?" Oh Gawd, even he knew he sounded stupid. In fact, the entire time he spoke he kept wondering why he was even saying that.

He exhaled slowly through his nose. It made sense, he guessed. He didn't even believe what he said... I need to work out more, he decided.
