Arena:
Since when did a springtime breeze dispel darkness? Nothing short of sunlight would be able to get rid of it (or a dispel magic-type spell), which makes more sense; dispel darkness with light. Whatever. The Knights would be hard-pressed now with the undead restored and rejoining the fight, with the drow whirling their weapons around with rapid strikes. The shadesteel golem's negative energy pulses strengthened the undead and weakened the living, and as it closed in on the Guardians, it would swipe out with a claw to rend the first Guardian in its path. The lich began to weave another spell. Their entire surroundings suddenly became tainted with the corruptive touch of the negative energy plane; the lich had just desecrated the area, weakening holy spells and attacks greatly. If that wasn't bad enough, the lich swept his staff again, and the bodies of the slain soldiers would rise back to life, but be turned against their comrades as they became mindless undead.
"Kill them!" the lich rasped. The zombified soldiers complied, raising their swords against their former brethren.
Train Station:
"Merkaba H--"
There was no time to utter the words to a spell with an assassin at your back. Even if he did manage to complete the spell, by the time it manifested, the drow's blade would already be slicing across his back, and the blade would be coming in for a follow-up strike, thrusting forward to bury into his lower back and come out through his stomach. The blade had a wicked enchantment upon it, which made wounds unable to clot and close, bleeding out until there was no more blood to bleed. Even the smallest nick could make one bleed to death. Of course, the proper healing spells could reverse that, but who's got the time for it in the middle of a battle?
Annie was having more trouble indeed. Running out of the darkness, she would be up close and personal with the other two drow, who did not hesitate to attack her, moving around her flanks, stabbing and slashing. The golem, able to perfectly see through the darkness, glided out of it and interposed itself between her and the necromancer, another claw coming down to smash and slash her.
The necromancer weaved a spell around himself and vanished, turning himself invisible.

It was probably a pair of fortunate events that Arzhael was not evil, and he was wearing armor. Even as his sword sunk into the head and partway down the first zombie, the second advanced. Arzhael turned, ripping his sword from the putrid flesh of the first, brought his left handed sword up over his head and... Had a whole bunch of vomit hurled onto his chestplate. "Dude! I just had this armor washed." And, in frustration, lashed out with a front kick aimed towards the zombies chest. Since Arzhael was fully armored, if the zombie wasn't dead, ribs would be broken and he'd be faced with quite a bit of internal bleeding. But since the zombie was already dead, it would serve to clear a path for Arzhael to dart out from the mass of zombies and charge his way towards the golem that the necromancer was all-too-kind to point out to him. In the process, he moved the Tallum Blade back into position on his armor, fishing out four small stones from a pouch on his hip, and smashing the handful of them against the flat of the Dark Legion's edge. If the necromancer or the creep sneaking up behind him could feel charged up energy or the like, they'd realize that whatever was in the stones had just been released into the swords. "Black golem thing..." He brought both hands to grip onto the Dark Legion's edge, and brought the weapon over his shoulder. "Corner..." And then a quick heavy slash across his body as he slid to a stop to brace himself for the backlash. The slash resulted in a lance of yellow energy firing out from the tip of the Dark Legion's edge as it went across Arzhael's body. It quickly expanded, resembling a crescent to mimic the slash, and accelerated up to a rate of speed comparable to fifteen ft/sec. Sonic Blaster After focusing at least one charge into his swords, Arzhael swings the Dark Legion's Edge across his body to release the focused energy as a physically manifested lance. Sonic Blaster has a range of twenty feet, and upon coming into contact with an object bursts outward with an explosive force dependant upon the amount of charges Arzhael has built up. At its weakest Sonic Blaster would knock an average person back about five feet, while at its strongest, Sonic Blaster would be capable of leveling a small building. "POCKET!" With four charges of energy stored up, Sonic Blaster was more of an anti personnel device. While it wouldn't reduce the golem to rubble, it was going to blow a nice chunk out whatever it came into contact with. Arzhael still hadn't taken too much notice of the man behind him, since he was being all sneaky and the like.

While kicking out in frustration against the zombie that vomitted on him, the one he had almost cleaved in half, its wounds slowly closing, made an attempt to grab him after vomitting on him as well, but ws just a bit too slow. The necromancer, watching the mobbing and seeing the man fight his way through, raised his scythe as he came running towards them (he was standing near the golem), speaking a word of power. The golem, sensing a threat, advanced toward Arzhael. The negative energy pulsing from the golem would weaken him if he wasn't protected against it. It glided through the wave of energy directed against it, unaffected, and lashed out with a backhand strike with its right claw to knock him back. At the same time, the necromancer cast a spell to render Arzhael blind.
The zombies were now at his back, and the skeletal warriors had been called to join the fray, coming around to the golem's back. The drow were... somewhere. With the other man approaching him, he would be more or less surrounded.

Surprised that the Sonic Blaster hadn't really done, well, anything, Arzhael was lucky that he had at least some distance between himself and the golem. More than enough to draw the Tallum Blade once more, set both swords in front of him, and narrow his eyes in preparation for the onslaught to come.
Who was he to know that the necromancer was in the process of casting a spell to cost the duelist his sight? That, coupled with Arzhael's decidedly human non-immunity to spells, the entire world for the duelist would go black, and Arzhael brought his swords up in front of him in an attempt to keep himself from taking too much damage.
Which was a pretty futile attempt. Being unable to see anything, Arzhael was struck square in the jaw, the fully armored, formerly loudmouthed swordsman was knocked off his feet and sent rolling across the Town Square.
Getting up to his knees, Arzhael shook his head, attempting to clear what he thought was just a temporary lapse in his sight. Unfortunately, it didn't seem like he was going to be able to get that back any time soon. His head hurt, he tasted copper, and as far as he knew there was a host of undead about to descend upon him.
Instinctively, his left hand delved into the small pouch at his side, gauntleted fingers closing around a host of round objects.
"Not a very honorable bunch...are you?"
He was speaking to the ground, but hell if he knew that.

Alpha quickly jumps from rooftop to rooftop her spear in her hand, well at least thats what she thought of it even though it was just a demonic pitchform. She mutters soundlessly as she continues from roof to roof. Every god damn roof she landed on was surrounded by Zombies. She was starting to get frustrated. Seeing that two men were down below she jumped between them and looked around. At least she could take a quick breath here. Though a Golem and a bunch of zombies would not allow for a long break at all.

"Doo doo doo doo doo..."
And so, the boy Tade wandered past the town square while everyone was busy, and quckly made his way to the arena. There, upon the steps out front, there was a fight, with undead rising up again and again, and drow picking apart soldiers.
Yeah... So while they were busy as well, Tade made his way around them and up the steps. Unless of course, someone was going to stop him and all that, though if they were all occupied fighting each other, than would they even bother with the kid?

She looks around seeing the other two distracted. Using this to her advantance she jumps up ontop of the arena. She stands strait up on one of the pillars only to see a boy walking into the entrance. She scratches the top of her head softly. She then sits down up there and looks around at all the other fighting. She shakes her head and wonders where the source could be.

The undead fell upon the blinded Arzhael, clawing and grabbing at his limbs, the two other zombies retching their diseased vomit on him. He might get a lucky hit it if he started flailing around and swinging wildly, but with the golem nearby constantly pulsing out negative energy, it wouldn't be anything permanent, short of decapitating any of them. The skeletons stayed back, keeping a lookout. They had ignored the other man so far, mainly because he hadn't attacked any of them.
Unless someone intervened soon, there wasn't going to be much left of Arzhael left to even identify.
The necromancer seemed confident that the man was all but finished, and strode over to the hostages, the golem floating behind him.
"This is what happens when people try to be heroes!" he yelled, smiling sadistically as he swept his scythe in front of a female hostage, who screamed before the crescent blade sliced open her throat and she fell back with blood gushing out. The other hostages screamed in terror, wanting to get away but gripped too tightly by fear.

Alpha looks over and gasps in horror. There was a man being torn apart by zombies. Well at least it looked like it though with his screaming it was obvious they were not doing to much. She jumped down behind the two skeletons and smirked softly. She then envoked the dragon wing ability and pushes both her hands forwards. Since the zombies were light sluggest creatures and the bones were just bones she managed to send both flying off the young man. She then falls to one knee since dragon envoking took energy and plenty of it. She looked over at the golem that was pulsing out energy. He was not helping either. She closes her eyes and waits for her energy to restore itself which would take at least half a minute.

Soul release, Flame Essence!
A withering rain of flames was raining down on the zombies, incinerating them on the spot. The warrior who had been besieged by two zombies was suddenly freed, his attackers reduced to nothing but ashes.
After he had watched the battle continue on and saw the man being attacked mercilessly, Vi had decided to intervene, saving the warrior from a very painful death.
The tall, fox-like creature jumped down from the roof he had launched the attack from, landing in front of the injured man. " Are you alright?" Vi called over his shoulder, " You look like you need a bit of healing done before you go back into the fray." He grinned, baring his pearly white teeth.

"Another one, eh?" The necromancer laughed, turning toward Alpha, who seemed to be succumbing to the effects of the golem's pulse. He grabbed another hostage, this one a little boy, crying for his mommy as he was held against the necromancer with one arm grasping his shoulder across his chest. "You don't learn very quick, do you? Skeletons, take her!"
They got back up to their feet and moved in to take her by her arms as she was kneeling and recovering her energy. Not the best place to rest, especially at a time like this. They would be upon her in seconds.

They would be upon her in seconds. She quickly looked up to see them up and comming. She shook her head and snapped softly. A small black dragon appeared on her shoulder. She reared his head and then shot dragons fire at both skeletons attemping to turn them into ash with its own black flame. Alpha continued to recover on her one knee always having her black dragon there to assist her in times like this.

Vi chuckled, the necromancer seemed to have forgotten him and the man behind for a while. Taking a breath and collecting his energy, Vi spit out three globs of green fire, in the general direction of the attacking skeletons.

In an angry flash of black, he stepped out of seemingly nowhere, an evil, albeit standard-looking pistol extended at arms length. About fifteen feet from the necromancer, it took very little exertion for him to pull the trigger. There was a vibrant muzzle-flare, and then... comparative quiet. The kid was no longer crying, rather, he was leaking as the bullet had pierced him straight in the eye, lodging itself deep within his brain.
"Oops."
The child-murderer smiled, if you wanted to call it that. Only his mouth visible, the crooked pale lips were turned at the corner, the rest of him clad in as close to black as one could get.

((Actually, I didn't see you post until after I posted.))
The skeletons jumped away from the dragon's fire, but one of them got hit b a glob of green fire. Undead didn't feel pain, so it didn't scream, and it didn't stop it from pulling the crossbow it had slung around its back and firing a missile of eldritch fire at the newcomer. The other skeleton drew out a scimitar and lunged toward Alpha with its free hand outstretched to grab her.
The zombies were recovering, thanks to the golem's pulses, though badly burnt, crumbling away to show bones underneath the burned tissue. Now they had two victims to swarm around, and if it was still raining, they would be flaming zombies (but how's the rain not affecting Azrhael, who's in the middle of them all?).
"Lay down your weapons, or this boy dies!" the necromancer called out, holding his scythe just under the crescent blade, with the edge held against the boy's neck.
BANG
The necromancer, wide-eyed, looked at the newcomer who had suddenly appeared and shot him. At least, he thought he shot him. He looked himself over though and didn't see any wound. It was when he looked down at the suddenly silent boy that he realized that the boy had just been killed.
"Bollucks," he said, tossing the murdered boy aside like a discarded item.
