Hello! I feel like I've been neglecting poor Gaia.
I am SO happy for you that you moved away for the biological parasites. As a parent, I can't imagine doing half the crap they've done just because of image worries.
Happy belated birthday. I'm glad that you got sex. Lots of sex.
Congrats on sticking to your guns. I think it would mean a lot if you went to the trial.

Thanks... but don't remind me of it until after my period? emotion_bandaid I swear it hurt to pee for like three days... totally worth it!Yeah. You could technically say I ran away from home but in all honesty it was better for me to get out of there. I'm just so relieved Grandpa took me in. It would have been really hard for me otherwise. Still no luck with the job hunt so I'm doing 90% of the housework to contribute. I also applied for Government aid. We'll see what happens with that. I'm in a different State now so maybe the requirements are different. Whether or not I have to get up on that bench, I'm still sticking to my principles. Some people just can't understand that. To them the facade is more important than the structure under it. How are YOU guys doing? How's your little man doing? He's what, going on 6, 7 months old?

He's going to be 7 months on the 19. I really need to update my photo siggy.
I've been working part-time, and it sucks. Just because I miss being home with him. Soooo much.
But hopefully James will be getting a job soon, so I can cut my hours even more and stay home more!

I miss you too! *MASSIVE SQUISHYHUG*I've started watching Game of Thrones on video... SO addictive. I'm even learning the fan lingo. I'm one of the Unsullied (meaning I haven't read the books - YET. If I had I'd be a Bookwalker). I almost don't want to be caught up because we don't get HBO, so I'd have to wait until the Season 3 videos come out.

It feels so strange, you know... like there was a weight that had been on my chest so long I no longer even realized it was there, and it suddenly disappeared. Even if it's more crowded here and we have to keep a close eye on Grandpa's health (we caught him trying to sneak a cigar the other day) it's still better to be here than back there.

It just shows how much your life has changed! smile I hope that with enough time, your parents will see how different you've become when you've grown into a better 'you' and how stupid they were to worry about their pride so much.
Social norms are just general guidelines for living. Real love, even in families is worth so much more than pride, social images and vanity. I'm so glad that both Nick and your grandpa know what you've gone through and still accept you for everything that you are.
