No, it was sparks. As he grabbed it, he read the note and was surprised to see what he read. He then realised he'd run off and never even done so much as give his name. He felt kind of stupid for doing something like that, though his training made him do that. "Freaking idiot much, Roycie? *sigh* may as well go say a proper hello." He turned back around, never even noticing the tiny girl following him. Thankfully he didn't hit her, but she still followed him blindly. He reached Segerus and scratched the back of his neck awkwardly. "Sorry 'bout that, my life kinda revolves around my training regime... thanks to daddy dearest. But yeah, let's start over: Royce extended his hand out to Segerus "Name's Royce Siegman... and I don't know if you heard the notices, but yeah. That was me." The last bit made him lose a bit of confidence in maintaining a decent converstaion, but he didn't want to start off with lies and delayed truths. That would have been the last thing he wanted. ╚══════════════════════════════════════════════════════════╝ -"On top of that, I get my own house, no rent, no bills and no limit to the amount of food I can have? Segarus Selene Hagisaka Segarus nodded as she took hold of the extended hand. She shook Royce's hand with a small chuckle. So this was Royce Siegman. " Name's Segarus Hagisaka-Infernas. Guess...I can openly use my father's last name here," she said then it finally hit her. She didn't have to worry about her mother hunting her down and killing her. She didn't have to pretend who she was anymore! Segarus had a happy gleeful smile on her face which she managed to push back into a friendlier smile. " Don't worry..I'm not one of those demons that will harm you...In truth I'm more harm to myself then anything," she then released Royce's hand. She didn't want to prolong him from his training regime but then she felt it. Her trigger finger itching at her side in need for her to fire her weapon that was tucked away in her boot. She noticed little Liara examining Royce with interest making her laugh. She tilted her head at him in wonder. " Um, would it be alright if I join you? Training that is?" she asked as she rubbed her hand along the back of her neck where her ends of her hair itched her. " It's...been in my family to train. I was only raised by a house full of testosterone so my life been revolved around training mind,body and spirit with all that "

She seemed willing, so maybe she'd put up a good match. "... alright then. I wouldn't mind a partner. Better than training on a bag, anyway." Royce began walking to the main buildings, looking towards Liara. The young royal snapped out of her trance and looked back to Segerus, unsure as to what she was doing. Though her face lacked the emotions, she was obviously confused as to what she was doing all this time. I need to try and focus more... Segarus Selene Hagisaka Segarus noticed Liara had slightly snapped out of it. She chuckled and waved at her seeing the little one was staring at her. " I'm an assassin's daughter Lady Liara, so it's always nice to know where I can spare," she explained to Liara but most likely Royce heard her as she followed to the main buildings. And this was true, she really was an assassin's daughter, Hell, she was able to watch her family go on a hunt if need be.

Kin picked up on her suddenly seeming a bit down and cocked his head to the side in confusion. He didn't understand why she seemed down, but that didn't matter. To try to cheer her up he grabbed her hand firmly and smiled. The magician at the circus had taught him a spell to cheer people up. All you had to do was hold their hand, smile, and think happy thoughts and your happiness would spread to them without fail. Ofcourse it was just a silly myth he told him, and it wasn't really magic, but Kin still did it on occasion to try to cheer people up. Holding on gently to her hand they headed out of the resturaunt then out of the shopping district into the demon section of the island. He had probably spent the least amount of time here, due to it easily being the most dangerous, but he was a stealthy and resourceful kid, so he still had come here enough to know his way around. When she said she wanted to show him something in private he smiled, wondering what it would be, not taking her tone as a reason to be concerned. However when she made him promise not to panic he raised his eyebrow at her, a bit more concerned about what it was if she was going this far. Still she looked so sad and she even held out her pinky for him to pinky swear, so he felt like he couldn't just turn her down. Smiling and giving her hand a small squeeze to try to cheer her up he happily hooked the pinky of his free hand with hers and shook, nodding his head as if to say "I promise". He still had no clue what she planned to show him, but it seemed he'd find out soon enough as they were nearing her house. When they were in front of her house he bowed and motioned for her to go on ahead of her.

The moment she set foot outside, the concern vanished, replaced by high alertness. She patted her jacket to make sure her knife was still safely tucked away and followed Kin silently back through the shops and market stalls through which they'd come. Feeling apprehensive as ever, her attention was on everything that moved without seeming like it. She remembered the stupid things as well as the important: that man's cap was yellow and red. The woman hurriedly leaving the grocery mart and the younger man following her had just had a fight... Nothing escaped her because nothing was allowed to. She could find her way back here with a simple pointed finger in the approximate direction of the place.xxxxxxxOnce they had reached her new home, Cole sniffed the air surrounding it. So many people had been in this area! She recognized Shikori's scent, tucked among unfamiliar demon presences, and wrinkled her nose. Had he been here recently? No, he couldn't have, they had last seen him at the beach...Cole grew so focused on her thoughts that she felt the buzzing--the same feeling from the restaurant--inside her head. She almost let it take over when she felt Kin's hand release hers, snapping her back to reality. Grateful for the wake-up call, she inhaled deeply, preparing herself. She didn't even enter the house, just set her suitcase next to the door. "Okay, you ready mate?" she asked, an excited glint in her eyes. Without waiting for a response, she knelt on the ground a moment, then her head collapsed in on her shoulders, nearly touching the ground. Then her body seemed to be shrouded in a black fog, and it settled all around her, curling off her form in wisps. Suddenly, she shook her head and the fog dissipated, leaving behind not a girl, but a massive fox, the size of a small horse. Her fur was so black it almost looked blue, but her eyes remained the same bright gold. "So..." she said in a deeper and more "seductive"-sounding voice "What'cha think?"

Kin cocked his his head to the side when Cole refused to go into her house, instead just leaning her suitcase against the door. When she asked if he was ready he slowly nodded, but she didn't seem to be waiting for his answer either way as she kneeled down. suddenly weird foggy stuff started rolling off of her and Kin took a few steps forward, wondering if something was wrong. however when she suddenly transformed into a giant fox he smiled and gazed at her in slight awe. She was just like Glass, except instead of a giant animal turning into a beautiful girl, it was a beautiful girl turning into a giant animal. When she asked what he thought he flipped through his notepad for one of his prewritten responses.

he showed, a happy smile on his face. Normally he'd be scared by a giant,potentially deer eating, predator. However since meeting Glass that fear had gone, plus Cole was to nice to be dangerous. Without thinking he went over to her and hopped up onto her back like he did with glass, and reached down to start rubbing her belly.

Shikori Kazayu, Namihana Kazayu  Shikori sighed, darting over the sand before pushing off sharply, somersaulting until he landed a few yards from their 'home' for the time being. He paused slightly, sensing a subtle ripple of energy before a faint smile flickered over his face. He disappeared inside for several minutes, reappearing in clean clothes and carrying a guitar. Namihana paused, sensing the subtle ripple of energy as well. She cocked her head, spotting Kin and Colette, though she didn't know the kitsune girl at all. She heard a sound roughly fifteen to eighteen yards away and knew exactly what it was, a smile unconsciously flashing over her lips.

Royces ears perked as he heard this, though, so now he had a decent idea of what he was up against. Assassin, aye? Raised in a family of guys and having that experience makes her easilly a threat... crap, I think I'll need to be careful around her, then. His thoughts instantly went back to last nights events, and since he barely knew this girl he felt he had to be careful. His body language didn't change in the slightest, plus he seemed perfectly contempt just walking to the gym, showing zero sign that he was being cautious of the pair. When they reached the building, Royce was amazed to see the pristine state the building was in: brand new equipment, state-of-the-art too, a professional grade boxing ring, soft mats forming one of the sparring floors and even vending machines and water for the students in one of the corners, all of which ran off of the student SC cards.While Royce was visibally amazed, Liara didn't really care all too much: it was the same kind of equipment her family had access to, just in greater quantity, though she could understand why Royce was so shocked. "Bloody hell, they don't hold back do they? Then again, three worlds funding one school would give us this kind of kit, I guess..." Royce started walking over to the sparring mats and put his bag on the ground, starting to perform stretches. "Hey, how 'bout we take a moment, huh? give us a chance to establish rules and give us an idea of what we're up against." Royce constantly kept her within some form of vision, making sure she nor Liara didn't make any sudden moves. Liara had taken a seat by the mats, ready to watch the two duke it out. ╚══════════════════════════════════════════════════════════╝ -"On top of that, I get my own house, no rent, no bills and no limit to the amount of food I can have? Although she had shifted too many times to be "uncomfortable" in her humanoid form, she had been born a fox demon, and it felt too natural to be one again. Things got dangerous though, when Kin jumped on her back. Instinct overshadowed everything and her entire body froze. Huge muscles built from hunts and sparring stiffened to stone. His hand reaching through her fur to her belly was an even more serious no-no. A menacing snarl escaped her lips and she flipped Kin off with seemingly no effort. Nice afternoon or not, one day couldn't erase a lifetime of training. The antlers only made it worse, Cole's mind shrieked at her to pounce, and it took every ounce of strength just to stop the growling and remain perfectly still.xxxxxxxHer eyes glinted nervously back and forth between Kin's, reading his gaze and trying with all her might to recognize him in her new form. Friend, friend, friend... she kept telling herself, paws and teeth clenched with the effort. "Don't...move..." she rumbled, trying to warn him. If he ran, she would have no choice but to chase. If he didn't, she could beat this. She would. She had to. This was the ultimate, the deciding factor of whether or not she could stay here. She dared not blink.

Shikori Kazayu, Namihana Kazayu Shikori paused momentarily, rising to his feet before he pushed off, alighting on the roofline lightly on the balls of his feet as he too spotted Colette and Kin. He used a technique that employed speed to vanish, materializing balancing in the tree branches easily ten feet off the ground as his fingers flickered over the strings, the music flowing out. Namihana pushed off, her form rippling as if the air heated around her as her form shifted into her hybrid form, six lavender tails wavering behind her as she skidded to a stop, not meaning to put herself betwen Colette and Kin. She tensed unconsciously, realizing the alluring scent of her body in heat might cause the other kitsune's instincts to become more hostile.

Segarus Selene Hagisaka Segarus' eyes went wide when she looked around the room. The area that made her smile the most about was the room in the far section. A glass wall blocked it off and from what she was able to see, it was a firing range. " Good lordy..." she muttered before shaking her head. She really was going to be a regular attendant at the gym with this. She dropped all her weapons-unbuckling the gun holster, putting the metal spiked fanout of her pocket and dropping her hand weights. She glanced up at Royce while she did all this. " Mmm...guess the first rule is this is the basic sparring, hands on combat so no weapons?" she said while she unlaced her boots putting them to the side of the sparring mats before she got on. She took her headphones off as well then pulled out a pair of bracelets putting them on. Her eyes shifted colors. She sighed glad the element blockers still worked. " I'm a rare type of demon now...according to Liara...because I'm still a young demon in my father's eyes, I need these to channel my energy. " She stated as she went into a back bend then a hand stand. " I won't use my powers...unless these bracelets" she raised her one arm out as she balanced on one hand focusing. " get damaged, " she planted both palms on the ground pushing off landing on her feet in a crouched down position. " Anything else then I need to state? If not I guess it's your turn " she gave a smile before resuming stretching.

Kin cocked his head in confusion when she suddenly snarled up at him and tensed up. Had he done something wrong? Suddenly before he could even ponder the thought further he found himself in the air and crashing down on the ground hard. He winced as he sat up rubbing his lower back were he had landed hard. He looked up at her and looked like he was chuckling awkwardly, realizing he had probably crossed some sort of line and she was simply reprimanding him for it. The deerkin was about to write out that he was sorry, but when his eyes met hers his body froze up like a deer caught in headlights. She growled at him not to move, but that wasn't even neccesarry as Kin was practically paralyzed to the spot, not able to move even if he wanted to. The boy couldn't even move his head to nod that he understood. He just sat there frozen, a look of fear on his face as the color slowly began to drain away from his face. It was like when he had first met Glass and she had pounced on him. However instead of that moment only lasting an instant before she realized her mistake and became friendly and playful, Cole didn't seem like she was about to turn into a playful puppy any time soon. Kin was scared, really scared. Cole was his friend, but at the end of a day she was a fox and he was deer, and when instincts started to take over things would be rocky. His eyes widened when suddenly another strange fox creature appeared, placing itself between him and Cole. The fox...thing...smelt familiar, and he traced the odd scent coming from her as Namihana's "heat". His brain rationalized that he should feel safer, but for some reason his body had the exact opposite reaction. It seemed his fear only grew with the idea of being faced down with two foxes, and that threat was enough for Kin to regain control of his body and he bolted immediately down the street from both of them, ignoring the warning Cole had given him. Kin ran down the street until he found the edge of the forest and immediately ran inside, hoping the trees would help him shake his pursuers.

It seemed everything anyone was doing was intended specifically to provoke her. Luckily, it distracted her long enough for Kin's form to disappear from her peripherals. She felt a strange emotion slowly coursing through her fox form, and when she finally recognized it, it was too late to apologize. Then a new player entered the situation and Cole snapped back into acute focus. A snarl rose up from deep within her throat, and her accent was magnified, "Who is she, Shikori? Best tell me that and what she's doing 'ere before we have a confrontation."xxxxxxx
