 The young immortal was growing tired of these weak soldiers throwing themselves at him and quickly looked at the enemy lines making sure no allies were in the thick of battle and smirked before he grabbed one of the red spheres in his armor and threw it at the horde of soldiers where it rolled deep into their ranks before erupting into a giant fiery inferno, disintegration those in its blast radius which ended several feet from Eon's feet. With the sudden break in fighting Eon turned to Abryon.
"How do you know my father?" Eon asked as he watched the enemy soldiers advancing again to fill the void that he had created with his Inferno Grenade. Though it wasn't the fact that the man knew his father but rather that it was going to be a reunion. After all Eon didn't know of Abryon's former status as one of Lucian's generals due to his trip to his father's domain.

So when, and if, he shows himself, I'm sure it will be a entertaining reunion. Infuriato trudged his way into the square, thinking to himself how Eleven would most likely regret telling him that he could do as he wished. Upon entering, he looked up and saw both Abryon and Eon chattering. Disappointed, Infuriato brought his right arm across his chest and swung it outwards, bits of dark mist drawing a feint line that quickly darkened and fired off a volley of shadow energy that eviscerated the good deal of soldiers that they encountered. Aren't you supposed to be piercing the enemy lines? Infuriato remarked as he came up behind them.

"This rabble has nothing but numbers on their side." Eon replied to the large cyborg as he sliced his sword through a pair of soldiers who had tried to jump him. "They have nothing on the foul creatures that occupy Purgatory."
Though he did not show it, he was now wary of the demon fighting by his side despite the fact that been watching his back. "So then you left Lucian's army? Why? From what I heard his men considered him a saint." He said as he continued to hack and slash through the soldiers. They really did only have numbers on their side and while they may not be overwhelming him they would have easily pushed past the Zaibatsu's soldiers, though Eon had a feeling that this was just the fodder before the actual muscle came in.

He incinerated the group using hell fire while he answered the young man. Indeed I was part of Valaria. I was their when Lucian first crushed the Doma, alongside Lady Bella. For the longest time I acted as the kingdom's top assassin. "Winged Death" They use to call me, but know that's in the past. As for seeing him as a god, I lost respect for the man long ago. When I first joined him it was because I foolishly believed he could bring balance to the land. As the years went on I began to realized he never really was fighting for justice, but a selfish desire to rid the world of war. Now I must atone for what I help bring into fruition and try and defeat this monster he gave a slight nod to the cyborg as he took to the air. Lucian  ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
In was in these hours of darkness that Lucian returned to the Zaibatsu to end it all. Beside him stood a large beast, bound together by chains. The beast's face was shrouded by a grey hood but his glowing red eyes tore through the darkness surrounding his face. Lucian stood quietly watching the war as it raged around him. It was not the large size of the beast that was frightening, it was the fact that the beast looked so human and gave off such a primal and blood curdling power. This was the beast Gyokuen had been trying to summon when she resurrect Lucian. This was the Medium. The Medium was not the colossal monstrosity that Gyokuen had been expecting, in fact the Medium was hardly over eight feet tall but he seemed build like a brick wall. He was by no means lanky and the muscle on his body made the Medium seem to short for his power. Alas here it was, the beast said to herald the end of days. The beast here under control of a mad king, with an army of darkness.
"Destroy them all. Tear them apart, and then mount them on spikes. I want no man left standing. On either side." Lucian whispered the last part of what he said so that none would hear. None would know he had ordered the beast to destroy the Zaibatsu and Valarian forces. They would all simply believe Lucian lost control of the Medium. No one would know what he had ordered it to do. Then Lucian turned and vanished into a massive cloud of darkness which flew directly towards the throne room. The Medium remained at the peak of a burning building that Lucian and it had appeared on. The beast looked down at its hands and when it did, the chains broke freeing it. Then the Medium spread his arms releasing another army thrice the size of the Valarian and Zaibatsu armies combined. The creatures it sent outward were small and likely easy to kill but that was not the point. with each of the beasts that fell a poisonous gas would be released into the air, poisonous and flammable. Then the Medium stepped forward and the building bellow it crumbled, seemingly taking the beast down as well. Alas another footstep shook the world and the Medium walked out of the flames towards the battlefield. Anyone who stood within three yards immediately fell to the floor in agony, yet they were not dead. The Medium must have been exuding some kind of mental torture to anyone near it.

When Eon saw the Medium, he let out a silent groan. "Oh, hell. It's Purgatory all over again." Eon blandly with a sigh as he saw the army of small creatures flood towards them killing friend and foe alike.
"Infuriato, you take the big man head on, Abryon you attack from afar keep it distracted as best as you can. I'll try to keep these creatures off you." He said as a plan quickly formed in his mind. The beast would need to be brought down first and fast if they wanted any chance of winning this war. Of course Eon had no knowledge of the beast or its origins nor the significance of its presence. To him it looked like a simple demon that had been ensnared by the mad king.

Infuriato Montagna ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━Infuriato began his approach to the creature, seeing how it could interfere with the current battle. Dark mist coiled around his legs and waist as he prepared himself. The closer he got, the more clear that this being was larger than him, and that alone was enough to set him off. He hated it when someone was larger than him, though many did not stay that way for long in the past. Then he sensed it, though not showing it, someone whose presence upset him even further, because she was not supposed to follow him.
Despite the anger that rose up inside of him, Infuriato decided to begin his surprise attack on the Valarian army. Praesidium! he called out, Arise and reign chaos for your creator. Beyond the edges of the city the ground rumbled before bursting as a hulking mass of metal split the earth and rose hundreds of feet into the sky before stopping. The large tube then transformed as the exposed parts of it expanded, slamming down supports to keep it from returning to the earth. Bay doors opened as slightly larger than man-sized humanoid machines, each with a cannon on one arm and two missiles on the other, made their way out of Praesidium and began their slow march to the battlefield. Infuriato did not have to look to see it in the distance towering over the small building around him. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━"The shadows are a doorway to the mind for me as they are a weapon. With lightning reflexes he fire off several hell-fire balls at it before charging a massive hell-fire ball in his left hand & a lightning sphere in his right, fusing them together and firing at the creature. The Medium  ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The Medium continued its forward march without speaking a word. Each step it took shook the ground. The great beast took little notice of Infuriato approaching, when the great machine began pouring out little machines the Medium finally made a move. Slowly lifting his hand out towards Praesidium a black orb of pure energy formed from the air. Several others appeared around it and they all began rotating with lightning like speed around each other until finally the Medium let off a great blast that tore through the sky and anything in it's way. Cries of agony rang out as the blast tore apart thousands on either side of the war alas the blast was not meant for them. It maintained a strait path towards Praesidium. The Medium lowered its hand slightly as a cruel grin spread across its face. Then Abryon's blasts hit and the smile fell slightly.
Each blast of fire hit the beast directly in the back but when they did the fire seemed to funnel off the Medium and swirl around his feet. The massive blast was met with the same effect. The Medium didn't even flinch. It honestly appeared as if the fire had no effect in any way. The beast turned its head to look at Abryon and then within less than a blink, the beast was merely two feet from Abryon. It grabbed the Arch-devil's throat and attempted to thrust its arm through Abryon's chest.

He was amazed to see it 2 feet infront of him as it gripped his throat. A wicked smile painted his face as Abryon pulled its face close to his.Foolish beast of carnage. You played right into my hands. His larger wing gripped the hand that tried to pierce Abryon's chest as the sky grew dark and storm clouds filled the air. Abryons eyes became bright white as lightning raged around them. Lets see how much punishment you can take! In and instant the duo was struck by a black torrent of lightning. Abryon's laughter rang throughout the torrent. FOOLISH BEAST! IT'L TAKE MORE THAN JUST YOU TO KILL ME! He raises his right hand as a sphere of black lightning forms in his hand. DEMON STORM FLASH! Flying out of the torrent he aims the sphere at the medium and fire a massive beam like blast at it and it explodes. Catching his breath he glares at the mushroom cloud of smoke. I hope that does some kind damage to you ya hell reject. He Floats there until he sees meteors aiming for the city in a desperate attempt he soars forward and destroys some of the meteors before honing in on the source. Snarling he heads straight for it. Upon arrival he finds a young women, but she seems to be familiar to him, her energy is familiar to him. Then that's when it hits him. P...Penny?! The Medium ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The beast did not shudder for even a moment as the torrents of lightning stuck down at him. They hit over and over yet nothing seemed to happen. Then when Abryon summoned the sphere of lightning the Medium began lifting his hand. Abryon's blast hit with the full force it intended to hit with. The first few moments of the blast caused the Medium to step backwards slightly but it was not pain, it was just the force of the blast. Then it all blew up. When the cloud cleared the Medium was gone. In his place nothing more than a pile of bones and blood. Maybe even a few chunks of flesh.
"It was not supposed to kill you...." The voice of the great beast rang out only in Abryon's mind. then the Medium returned, standing a few yards away from where Abryon's blast had been. Whether or not the beast had avoided the blast or taken it head on was unclear but what was certain was that the beast had done something to Abryon. What exactly that was would have to wait until the beast made it clear. The jab towards Abryon's stomach had been a diversion. While Abryon felt he had trapped the Medium to opposite was true. Abryon had allowed the Medium to get close. He had allowed the Medium to touch him, and Abryon would come to regret that. The beast reached up into the air and as he did the chains around his body became black with a dark fire that ripped outwards in waves incinerating everything it touched. The beast began swinging the chain slightly before whipping them outwards towards Abryon. The chains duplicated in the air and spread out into a vast net of fire and death. Abryon would want to avoid being hit.

Vesperia watched as the being flew directly for her. She did not lower her sword nor did she waiver in any manner. Abryon seemed shocked to see her int his state. He had called her by the name of the child she once was. Her eyes narrowed as she shook her head. "Not anymore," Her tone was cold as she locked her gaze with Abryons. Vesperia kept her gaze on the male as her aether-created wings of golden light pushed the wind forwards and launched her backwards. She had her orders and now was not the time to get emotional. Her minimal acknowledgement was more than enough to explain her feelings towards Abryon for his betrayal.
Luceat Coeli! The words where shouted in a commanding tone in her mind. The aether seemed to surround Vesperia in a brilliant glow that was nearly as blinding as the sun to gaze upon. This was no mere light though. She was manipulating the aether to generate radiation as a sun would. She had begun to not only generate heat and but a burning light as well. The female didn't stop to charge the attack either. She had thrust her luminescent wings once more and launched herself further into the sky. She resembled a falling star almost as her glowing form illuminated the sky. Vesperia had began to charge one of her attacks that she decimated a house with but intended it for a larger scale this time.

Turning around mid flight he soared back to were the beast was, but was met by black fire chains. Use his hell-fire powers he cover his arms with it as he flew through the whirlwind of chains, blocking those that came at him. He had taken some serious burns from them but nothing he wasn't use to already as he closed distance he unsheathed Hell-splitter and sent several arc of dark lightning at it. He wasn't going to let that "thing" get close again. I refuse to die at the hands of an abomination such as yourself foul creature. ================ ☩ ================== ☩.
