The movement of foliage to one side would bring her in view. She had seen the tracks, and knew without having seen the source that it was an intruder and invader of their forest. A creature that didn't belong, and whom she was going to repel and send back to the other side of this island in pieces.
She can remember stories about how the humans had cut through here at one time to try and tame the mountain. And how they had all band together to force those humans out ...so there was no way that she would be okay with those footprints muttering up her home.
She would drive them away.
She moved to cut off Raven as she would appear in front of the boy with her red eyes gleaming. She wasn't expecting to see eyes that match her own as she clap her pincers together with an audible snap that has intimidated many a pokemon here.
The sound like something being cut...normally made most run for cover. Though she had a doubt about this one.

The Durant would be correct in it's assumption. Almost as soon as she appeared, Raven would slid to a halt only a few scant feet away from the metallic insect. His grin would broaden at the sight of the Pokemon. He remembered well the strength of the last one he had encountered...and the resounding victory which followed.
Without a second thought the boy's hand fell upon the foremost ball upon his belt, thrusting it forward to release the creature that lay within. His partner, his sword, the one which stood the greatest chance against this creature...and to to achieve the greatest gain.
"Stand ready, Fable!" The boy would call.
Red light would flash, orange scales rippling into view as a flickering flame appeared. Blackened, charred arms stood a stark contrast to the rest of the Charmander's body. Immediately, his eyes would narrow. The challenge would be clear in his gaze. Neither the boy nor the reptile cared about their surroundings, they had come precisely for this.
Starter Pokemon: Charmander [M]
Name & Level: Fable, Lv 5
[Temperament] Quiet
Bio: Raven first met Fable during his time living on the streets, finding the fire-tailed reptile in one of hundreds of alleys he'd been in. Battered, beaten, and bloodied, it was clear the Charmander had seen it's fair share of battles...and lost every single one. He bit Raven only five seconds after their initial encounter. Fable had lost all trust in humanity. Raven was never fully aware of the details, but the Charmander's former trainer had been abusive. He'd placed him in battles with impossible odds, expecting him to combat and defeat opponent after opponent with little to no rest...and when he lost, it was his trainer whom would personally add to the reptiles injuries. Finally tired of wasting his time on "some worthless newt" his trainer had abandoned him in the dirtiest alleyway he could find and just left him there. The boy hadn't even given him a name...at least not one he cared to repeat.
For days after that first encounter Raven returned to the alley, usually meeting with the same result; yet still he kept coming, sometimes he even brought food. It was generally scraps most likely out of the garbage, but it was food none the less. One day the Charmander finally asked why the child kept returning...not with words of course, but with his eyes. The curiosity at the boy's actions were clear in the reptiles gaze. Raven had said he saw a fire in Fables eyes that day when they first met, the desire to become truly powerful. More time passed after that, but the only thing which mattered after that point was the outcome. Even without a Pokeball the Charmander decided to follow the boy from that day forward, even earning the name Fable in the process. Raven would speak of spending the reward money on new clothes and a bath, but what was consistently leave out was the purchase of a single Pokeball. There was no need. Even without it, Fable would follow his trainer to the depths of hell and back.

The challenge made ....made her heart skip a beat for a second. A fire type, the scourge of her kind, and the scourge of this place. It is flames that would burn the surest through an island of steel types and it's flames that they hated the most. She clicked her mandibles loudly as she glower at the Charmander.
She would rip this pokemon apart.
Her mandibles in front of her mouth would start to crackle with electricity with that thought as she lunges after him with them wide open and electricity sparking in between.

Immediately Fable and Raven could see the error in underestimating this particular opponent. The Durant they had faced before was nothing when compared to this creature; if they weren't careful it would tear through them like so much used tissue paper.
Actually, Fable was promptly beginning to remember how difficult that first Durant had been in the beginning of their last battle. This..this could be a tad more difficult then they had imagined.
It was about then a crazy thought would occur to the Charmander. Grabbing the end of his tail, Fable would point the flame at the tip outward at their opponent. The same defense they'd used to deter the last one they had fought...oh how they hoped this worked.

(20 - 5 + 19 - 10 = 24dmg + paralysis)
It was a single hit, but it was one that wet the grasses as she shook the charmander once before throwing him to the side. SHe turned around swiftly with her mandibles clicking as the electricity continued to sparkle ...flames that had should have detour her ....hadn't even made her flinch as the sparks hit her skin and promptly died out.
No, she wasn't the same as those from the outskirts ...this were their home, and she was one of many that worked hard to defend it. Her eyes sparkled with her victory as she turns towards the boy waiting for the next one he would call out.

STUNFISK IS CONFUSED!"Follow up with Scary Face" The Aerodactyl did as told, looking at the Stunfisk right in the eyes as he winced. He wasted no time, cracking a wide derranged grin as he looked at the Stunfisk with a face that only said one thing.
Dinner.
Though Ada was just making use of the free time she had now, considering the fact that if she hurt this thing at all it would come back to bite her twice as hard. No, no, she could wait...if she didn't, well, then this fight would end badly for her, she was sure of it.

Though the Aron wouldn't dodge ...instead it would hunker down closer to the earth. It's head press into the soil as only it's metal body would be left where the flames could hit ....as the pokemon it would seem was trying to see if his own metal hide would be resistant to the flames that was coming his way.
The heat made him sweat inside of his own skin, but other than that ....he felt confident that he could get through this without a scratch on him.

The power from the Stunfisk's bide was starting to form .....as she press her fins against the ground. Her eyes seemed to not change in the least even as the sphere of energy formed ....she had only been hit once, but it was more than enough to bring most to their knees .....as the injury started to form within her ....as she open her mouth to release it out ....as some giant explosive force. Her damage, her pain would double upon her enemy ....even as the counter-attack came to it's end with that final strike.
Though with that attack would actually come pain, because, the process of using Bide forced her to counter-attack twice in a row.
Hp: reduced by 2

[FABLE FAINTED]Raven's response would be immediate, yet likely not all that expected. Rather then re-grasping Fable's ball and recalling the Charmander, the child would dart out onto the battlefield, grabbing the reptile by the tail and dragging him back across the ground to where the trainer had previously been standing.
Leaving the Pokemon out of the Pokeball and at his side, the youth would then grab for the second ball upon his belt. He'd seen the electricity dance across the Durant's mandibles, an attack which would put Crowe at a disadvantage. Further the Steel-Type was an armor clad insect. a fact which meant Requiem was out as well. Truly, Raven was left with only a single choice to continue this battle...
Hurling the ball into the air, the boy would call out "Prepare yourself, Genn!"
The earth beneath their feet would shudder and quake as the massive Pokemon made his entrance, the beasts steely tail slamming heavily against the ground. Shifting, the Steelix looked about for his opponent, gaze settling for a moment on the Durant ">Really? An insect?....you've got me fighting a bug now? Isn't there some other way we can...<" Genn turned his massive head to face Raven and immediately paused; the child's glare would allow no room for argument. ">Oh fiiiiiine<" The Steelix half moaned as he turned back to face the Durant.
He would however, receive no order to attack. Instead the boy would reach into the pouch at the back of his belt, retrieving an item he had obtained earlier that day. One he had chosen to hold on to rather then use at the Pokemon Center as originally suggested. The Revival Herb.
Tearing the leaves of the herb into smaller pieces, the child would kneel down and shove them into the mouth of Fable, forcing the Charmander to chew, then swallow. The reaction would be almost immediate as the Fire-Type's eyes flew open, and he leaped to his feet.
Sticking out his tongue, one eye twitching slightly, Fable proceeded to make a horrendous series of gagging noises; wiping at his tongue with half charred claws, and even going so far as to lick the dirt in an attempt to rid himself of the bitter herbs taste. ">OH ARCEUS AND THE AFTER TASTE!!!<" The Charmander whined, failing to suppress a shudder.
Once the vile flavour began to fade the Pokemon would cast his trainer an almost lethal glare. Clearly his opinion of the child had just dropped considerably.

Name & Level: Genn, Lv 5
[Temperament] Hasty
Bio: Raven met with this Onix while making his way through Clockwork Cavern. An Area Guardian, his charge was evidently a Magnemite the boy had recently passed. Believing Raven a threat, the Onix attacked immediately. Raven seeing qualities he liked in the Pokemon, and after suffering some minor damage while battling against Fable, the Onix was quickly captured. An act he made no move to fight against. Quick to make his decisions, Genn rarely listens to Raven in battle, having chosen his next action before the child even has a moment to speak.
Stats:
HP: 24/24, PP: 22, ATK: 15, DEF: 23, SPD: 9, SP-ATK: 12, SP-DEF: 13

The Durant was surprise at the change ...it went from a creature of the flames to one of the soil the same as her. A creature's whom metal hide and long body should have felt the most at home here, and whom ...she didn't have to guess had to have been snatch away from it's home ...to become that boy's pet. It was a horrible thing to see one of the same blood as her reduced to this, and she decided maybe it was best if it was that which she targeted first ....the pokemon's ability to see.
She would draw her mandibles into the earth ...as she threw it up in a huge lob of nothing but soil and grit. It was thrown as high as she could get it ...aimed at the pokemon's eyes ...try and blind.
He didn't need to see what she was going to do to him.

Rumbling, the Steelix's tail would twist slowly like a drill as the tip flicked about ">Trying to butter me up with soil snacks are you? Well I'll have you know that won't do you any....hey look, quartz!<" Genn's gaze and tone shifted abruptly as a small hunk of something shiny appeared among the spraying dirt.
Without a significant amount of thought, the Steelix would opened his jaws and lung forward to catch the glittering treat.
Alas, gravity was not his alley. When his jaws came within reach, the near worthless gem would fall back to the earth in the direction of the Durant. Completely forgetting about his foe, Genn would plunge downward after it, his breath becoming steamy as his heart rate accelerated. Steam turned to frost, and soon frost turned to ice upon the giants teeth.
In his desire to chase down the delectable morsel, the Steelix had begun a Counter-Attack of Ice Fang! He'd gobble up the Durant and the tiny gemstone!

The Durant attack had failed miserably against the Steelix. She wasn't too surprise though, this was one of her brothers ...a creature of steel like her. A weak attack is completely useless as she curls up on the defensive. Hoping to be able to beat back any attacks that he might decide to use after that.

Lunarsun (You can't counter attack ....Raven used an item instead. Which is why the Durant attacked ...after defending. Will add the real post after school.))

[Durant Attacks - Fable Defends - Fable Faints] - [Durant's Turn]
[Durant Defends - Raven Releases Genn - Raven uses Item] - [Raven's Turn]
[Durant Attacks - Genn Counters] - [Durants Turn]
((So at least by my logic the Durant was defending, and Raven used his turn to Revive Fable. Then it went on to the Durant's turn, and Genn countered. I should be able to counter.))
((But if I'm guessing right, you are choosing not to count that Defense Post you made Prior to the release of Genn which happened due to Fable Fainting. Or rather counting is separately from Raven using an item.))
((Though of course that's just a guess and I could be wrong about your current method of thinking.))
