((Sorry it took me so long! I was away for the weekend.))
Avery raised an eyebrow, then looked back over his shoulder to see if Rime was chasing him. She usually didn't, having given up a long time ago, and this time was no exception.
"'Cause I didn't wanna wear anything else. If I had my way, I wouldn't even wear jeans, but Momma says it's a social... a social... fur paw? No, that's not right... I'm not supposed to do it. So I guess jeans will do. Or shorts. Shorts are even better."
He smiled as the elevator dinged and the doors slid open. He grabbed Erik by the elbow and said, "C'mon, let's go!" And he pulled the other boy into the elevator, and jabbed his finger into the button with the L on it.

((It's okay 3nodding ))
"I see... " He trailed off as the elevator dinged. He hardly even heard what Avery had said before he was yanked off his feet and dragged into the elevator.
He leaned against the back wall of the elevator and let out a sigh of relief. The doors rolled towards each other and the hum of pulleys began as they descended. "You actually like going out like that? Wow... I hardly go anywhere without my favourite jacket." He proudly puffed out his chest and gave his new friend a cheesy grin.
"So where are we going anyway? I told my mom I'd stay in the lobby area..."

Avery looked the jacket over, and then nodded approvingly, even though he didn't think he would ever wear something so confining. "Yeah, I don't like the way clothes feel. But I don't mind what other's wear."
He tipped his head to one side, and sighed. "Only the lobby, huh? That doesn't leave a whole lot. Maybe we could go swimming? We'd have to get swim suits. I like to swim!" He grinned at Erik.

Erik looked up at the counter, thinking over the question. "Sure. I don't think I've ever gone swimming here at the Apartment... but I'm sure it will be fun!" He nodded to add emphasis. "So, I guess that means we're going back up?" The elevator came to a halt and gave a shrill ding. Both doors rolled back slowly and Erik looked to his companion.

A small Robin swooped down the stairs, flying right into Owyln who was exiting Sirenes apartment, barely noticing the woman or neko banir kinder standing at the door way. The small bird seemed distraught, fluttering her wings rapidly too and fro, skirting off towards the stairs and then back towards Owyln in almost a scene of panic. The brown wings pushed against the air, black beedy eyes trying to pass a message over, the bird fluttering around in the air.
'easy...easy' Owyln quickly came out with seeing the bird fly up, frowning lightly at the sudden panic driven creature, giving one look back to sirene before he held his palms out for the small bird to land. His ears gave a small twitch, pondering over exactly what was wrong, two deep blue orbs blinking into that of the far beedier birds. Then it clicked; William! Panic drove through him for a few moments, wondering exactly what the fallen had gotten himself up to, before he made his way over to the stairs.
'Sirene, i think it's william' he shouted back, taking the stairs two steps at a time, cursing himself for leaving his son even for a few moments. His jumper flew back behind him, ears pressing towards his head, making an awful racket as he tried his best to push himself as far up the stairs as he possibly could without loosing his breath. This certainly wasn't a normal Owyln; that was sure. His panic buttons seemed so easily pressed these days with William being blind, constantly on edge about the young boy, not being totally prepared for the scene ahead.
Outside the front door sat Thistle, tail unusually wagging from one side to the other, totally the opposite of the panic driven bird which had ended up perched upon the anthro's shoulder as he ran. The dog barked slightly, backing off to one side of the door, almost to let her owner in. Her brown eyes blinked up towards Owyln, trying to work out why he was so panicked, before happily trotting inside after him.

Sirene had walked with Owyln to the door, Yume in her arms holding her mouse and a new runaway hamster. Upon seeing the robin, Sirene just blinked. She knew that the robin was William's and it seemed upset about something. Reaching out her free arm, she stopped and pulled it back around her daughter. "Owyln?" Was all she got out before he had taken off. Sighing, Sirene shook her head. That man was always uptight when it came to his son and she knew it. Taking tighter hold of her daughter, she followed at his heals.
Yume had been falling asleep in her mother's arms but was rudely shaken awake by the new speed her mother seemed to have taken on. Opening her eyes and holding onto her pets tighter, Yume looked around. "Mommy? What is going on? She said softly curlling into Sirene's chest.
"I really don't know dear." She whispered back stopping just short of running into Owyln's back.

The door to the bedroom was open, a young teenager sitting upon the bed, two large blue eyes blinking up towards the small commotion at the door. The white from his eyes had disapeared, his wings had grown far larger, along with his hair which now flowed right down his back and finished where his trousers started. He half smiled, his fingertips clutched around a black peice of cloth held within his lap, the lad not being able to see the look on their faces - but he could quickly feel the vibes of three very confused faces.
Owyln seemed taken a back for a few seconds, looking over what had been his young son, and now sitting on the bed was a far older lad. A small smile pirked at his lips, crossing his arms totally over his chest, making room so that Sirene and her daughter could see the small transformation which had appeared to have just happened. The anthro's ears flicked slightly, brimming with pride for a few moments, before he walked over towards William.
'Dad...i?' William managed to stutter before being dragged into a large hug, his own arms coming around his fathers back, not seeing a thing anymore. Everything was black to the lad, half smiling a little, pressing the large wings out against the wall. He tested them out, experimenting with a small flap, seeming to almost be working out how to use his now fledged wings. Letting go of his father, his arms fell down into his lap, before nodding back slightly behind the boy.
Behind him lay Vixy, curled up around three young cubs, the fox bending over to gently lick one of the younger cub's head. Her tail protectively wrapped around the three blind cubs, their eyes not even open, resting her head down as she shrouded them close towards her body - trying her best to show no one bar william would be able to get anywhere near her for the time being.

Sirene's jab dropped. As she entered the room, there in front of her sat on of the most handsome teens she had seen in a long time. As Owyln hugged his son, Sirene smiled feeling Yume move in her arms as she placed the small girl down on the ground so she could see herself.
Slowly, Yume moved over towards William's side and climbed up next to him. She had placed her mouse and hamster down as she sat just in front of William."I feel childish." She whispered and half laughed looking over her friend who was once again older than her.
Sirene couldn't help but shake her head in amusment as her daughter moved around William looking him over. She seemed happy enough though something made her wonder. She droped the though as not to ruin the father, son, moment. "You must be proud Owyln." She smiled placing her hand on his shoulder.
The mouse and hamster had started to run in the room and ended up near the new foxes. They both stopped a safe distance from the mother, knowning their lives hanged on it, and watched the cubs.

William blinked ever so slightly, his hearing tuning into picking up most un-audiable sounds, before he finally heard his best friends whisper. Smiling softly, he just brought his arms forwards to drag the neko into a small hug, it all seemed so easy. The darkness scared him but yet with the grip of a small neko near those feelings melted away, bringing his palm up to ruffle her hair almost playfully, keeping his slight smile. His wings gave a small flap, before finally folding against his back, two flocks of long blue hair trailing right infront of his brillent blue eyes.
'i'm shocked i have to say' Owyln said, turning back towards Sirene with a smile, before going back to watching his son with his best friend once more. His arms dropped back against his side, pressing his thumbs into his pocket, just watching his son hug his best friend. Something inside of him tugged though, what would happen now, it wasn't unusual for the Banir kinder just to grow. Wondering to himself how Yume and William would now cope, the man bit down slightly onto his bottom lip, before deciding to shrugg off the thought.
'no need...i may be older, but i'm sure you'll grow sometime soon' William whispered, his voice far quieter now, the palm that was rustleing the young girls plaits being removed to drop down at his side once more. Tilting his head down slightly, his halo tiled down with it, his gaze even though it was dark on his side trying its best to find his best friend once more. She didn't know - or did she? Could she figure out he couldn't see a thing he thought to himself, keeping that same small smile, no matter how fake it was for the time being.
The fox lifted her head seeing the small creatures, curling tighter around her young, the small red cub lifting his head. Meeping slightly towards the sky as his nose sniffed the new smells, figured out exactly what was around, a small curious look spread accross its features. The small tail flicked from the little one, hitting down onto his mothers larger tail, before curling back up once more.

Yume could tell something was strange. She held onto him tightly as his wings moved, the air moving quickly around her. When it stopped, she let go of him and moved around behind him. Slowly, so not to hurt him, she jumpped onto his back and ran her arms around his neck. "You are treating me like your sister you know. Why not just tell me what's up because you know you can trust me. We made a promise." She giggled into his ear and smiled kindly
Sirene moved back and leaned against the door. She knew what was wrong and easily guessed it. William had lost his sight now and Yume, well she didn't know. Her daughter surprised her every day now with how much she knew.
The mouse then slowly moved away towards the window and next to the seal for a nap as the hamster stayed were he was. He smiled and watched the cub. As if begging, she looked up at the mother, his eyes wide praying that it would be ok to move closer and not lose a lim.

Avery giggled madly, and then said, "Well, I wouldn't mind, but everyone else I know wants to wear a swimsuit to go swimming. Mom got really mad the one time I tried it without. So, yeah, let's go back up."
The doors slid shut, and Avery pushed the button for the floor they had just come from, looking up at the lights above the door to watch their progress.

Erik's cheeks reddened and he turned his gaze towards the floor. He couldn't imagine anyone trying to swim naked except for in the bathtub.
The elevator pulled to a stop and let out a ding, the doors slid apart. Erik raised his head at the sound and marched forward. "I'll meet you back here?"

Tawnie lay by the pool in her swimsuit, looking to be asleep. She gripped tightly to the bag in her hand and moved a bit. She moved again and this time, she fell into the water. She popped up and gasped for air, giggling at what she'd done. She climbed out and lay by the pool again, only this time a little further away.
Alyssah ran full-speed through the halls, not really knowing what floor she was on. Suddenly, she smacked into someone and didn't know who it was, but it sent her for a bit of a trip, rolling down the hall. She popped back up to see who she'd hit.
Mamela chased after Alyssah, but had somehow gotten lost. She sighed and continued walkingdown the hall.
Kimmie skipped after Mamela, following her the wrong way. "Rion, I lost Mamela!" She looked around then sighed. "AND Alyssah. Hurry up!" She called to him, sounding a little worried.
Rion sighed heavily and continued walking towards her. "You're too paranoid, it's not like some monster is gonna pop out of the wall and eat them. Just be calm, and not let us lose each other." He said calmly while walking by her and grabbing her arm, dragging her with him.

(( @_@ Owwie... poor Erik ))
A sudden force knocked him off his feet, as he was waiting for Avery's answer. Clenching his teeth, he pushed himself up despite the pain in his arms. "What was that?!" Blinking to clear the shock from his eyes, his eyes wandered the hallway, stopping at the other fallen form just a few meters away.
Crawling over towards it, he prodded it gently. "Hey are you alright? I'm so sorry, I didn't realize I was standing in the middle of the hall..."

She suddenly grabbed her mouth, stunned at the effect of her speed on him. She ran closer and kneeled down. "I'm fine, are you okay?!" She asked, sounding very freaked out.
