 Tennessee took the razor wind attack in the chest at point blank range. He was sent skidding across the floor from the blow and landed in a bloody little heap. The state was cut up badly but he barely did more than yelp in the pain he had expected to come. Those blades stung like hell. He felt like his skin might as well have been on fire, but forced himself back to his feet. The Volunteer State wasn't going down that easily and tried to keep Fenrir's attention on him. He was going to do everything his body could handle to weaken Luz Maria even if he knew he couldn't win. "Haha... At least I'm not a coward," he shot back, losing his normal sweet formalities and reservations against a lady in the heat of battle. "You think you're so great attackin' a bunch'a people unarmed? I betcha you're to much of a coward and weaklin' to even kill a little state like me."

  Sąɗiɋ Aɖηąη // Cɧєsą Nєηєттє As much as he wanted to get involved in the battle, Sadiq clung to the side lines, using his magic as a form of defense for those around him. But spells could only do so much and he found himself weakening a little. If only he had his sword. Well, there was always hand-to-hand combat, right? Cracking his knuckles, the Turk looked between his two 'targets'. His gaze flickered to Lukas and, with that, he sprinted forward toward the Norwegian, darting around the troll and drawing a fist back aimed at the other. "Fight that mutt, Lukas!" He demanded, throwing his punch...
The magic attacks coming from all around sent the Filipina in motion. She dodged what she could and took some hits, casting her magic to protect those who couldn't defend themselves. She looked towards Luz Maria, her mind kicking into overdrive as she tried to decide her next course of action. But there was so much going on, she could only think of one thing; Holy magic. It'd worked before, why not now? She ran over to Luz Maria, chanting under her breath as she approached. One of the flowers in her hair started to wilt rapidly as a glow formed over her hands. Seeing her sister attacking Tennessee, she took that moment of distraction to reach out for the Mexican, the Holy magic reacting to the dark aura radiating off of Luz Maria.    Filipino >> English

A small smirk came to her lips when she saw Luz Maria jump away. So, he weakness was still the same... "What's wrong, Fenrir? Afraid of a little Holy magic?" Her smirk fell as Luz Maria seemed to gain control. Get away? Her eyes narrowed in determination as she shook her head. "No can do, hermana. I'm getting that wolf's blood out of you." After all, family watched each others backs. She wouldn't be able to live with herself if she just ran away. With that said, she charged Luz Maria, her hands still glowing with magic. Any kind of contact, that's all she needed... "Lo siento, hermana." She apologized quietly, aiming a punch at the other.

Tennessee swore none too gentlemanly when Luz Maria escaped from Chesa's attack. He'd been hoping he'd be able to hold her attention as a target long enough for another hit to land. If he realized how close he had come to death, he didn't show the least bit of respect for how lucky he was not to have been hurt any worse. The state was more than ready to go at her again if his body would allow him. "Coward! Come back here!" he snapped as he waved his tomahawk angrily at her even as he bled. "Weaklin'! You're only capable of runnin' away when a real challenge shows up! You're not the Mexico I know! What happened to her? She was a real fighter an' you're just'a bully!" Yup. He'd definitely lost himself in his adrenaline and battle rage. Luckily it canceled out a lot of the pain he was in, but it made him incredibly reckless.

Kneeling down to Melody, she took out her gord from her Stitch backpack, since the island state had come as the stereotypical choice, since she didn't really know what else would look good on her. But that was beside the point now. "Forgive me, but I need to do this quickly. Tennessee needs my help." She said as she pulled the cork out with teeth and poured the contents into her outstretched hand. "This might feel weird at first, but it'll help." She said to the elder state before she sighed to herself, beginning to draw on her face, arms and legs in this ointment that began to immediately fade into her skin. E'olu'olu'oe kokua o'makuahine a ka 'ailana. E'olu'olu'oe." She whispered as the marks glowed green before disappearing altogether. "You should be fine now, but watch that foot." She told her in a shy voice, smiling lightly before she ran over to Tennessee, right when we was beginning to insult her. She knelt beside him before gasping, realizing that the wound was a lot worse than she originally thought. "Andrew..." She whispered as she placed her hands over his wound, in attempts to stop the bleeding as she winced lightly, blood beginning to appear on her dress a bit more, it seemed that her wounds were beginning to open a bit more. "You should stop aggrivating her, it's not helping your wounds." She told him softly, biting her bottom lip as she continued to try to stop the bleeding.

Melody felt like she was going to pass out. Her wounds were healing faster with her magic, but it also made her dizzy. She also lost a large amount of blood from getting hit directed in the back of her leg, and a few times on her arms. Her vision was blurred, and she stared blankly around the roon. Was this what war felt like? She saw some people badly injured, some crying. It didn't effect her. She stared blankly at the room, it all seemed in slow motion. Yet seeing Andrew get hurt, that snapped her out of her daze. "Andrew?" She asked in a mouse-like voice. She looked at Leilani as she put a type of ointment over her wounds. "T-Thank you..." She crawled over to where Tennessee was at. She looked over at her sister and frowned. "Let me help you..." Her voice was quiet, because she didn't want to waste much more of her energy talking. She mumbled something and her hands began to glow. She lightly pressed her palms against Hawaii's wound. She at least, closed the wound for the moment. When she lifted her hands, they had blood on them. Not all over them, just...scattered. She stared blankly at it. She turned to Andrew with a dull look. "She hurt you pretty, bad, we have to close the wound first..." She was talking like an extremely experienced medical nurse. She sensed magic, and turned her head. Spears coming for Andrew. Instincitively, she threw herself onto him, making herself a meatshield for whatever was coming. Protect your big brother...Something echoed in her mind.

Tennessee hesitated when he noticed his fellow states and blinked at Hawaii and Michigan as he started to calm down a little from the rush of battle rage. "L-Leilani? Melody? I..." he started to apologize for acting rudely in front of his sisters, but the flash of movement out of the corner of his eyes cut him off. He didn't have the strength left to carry all of them out of danger, but he managed to grab his sisters and push them down underneath him as he sheltered them from the attack. Andrew couldn't help a cry of pain this time as two of the spears managed to find their mark in his back and shoulder, but forced his arms to keep holding him up. Once the attack ended he swayed before collapsing on his side next to the other states. ((Er... *reread Michigan post* Um, I didnt' see yours when I first posted this then tried to do a quick edit, but looks like I didn't read it right... Mind if I leave it like this anyway? I need to take TN out of the fight since I'll be gone for a few days anyway.))

Leah growled as he brother and her sister were attacked, " okay b***h, now I plan to murder you with me own hands," she drew a circle and kneeled down next to it, She mumbled a longer phrase this time and a wooden stick and a Chainsaw appeared. " Good t'a have ye back friends." she said pickling up the wand and that chain saw and ran over to Andrew; Leah did not know any healing magic. She looked at Melody, " all of you have to leave...I can’t see you all get hurt." she said, she had to get her siblings out of here. She then handed Melody her chainsaw, use this but if you dent it I’m going to be pissed. She looked at the Mexican, " now your going to face the wrath of a witch." she said, She said taking the wooden wand in her hands, a dark aura seemed to form around her, she waved her wand a bit, then a purple fire shot at Luz Maria. Massy had not planed to hurt the girl but when she attacked her siblings she was not going to sit by. Plus that was not normal fire it only worked on demon's so she was hoping Luz maria counted as a demon. Cheshire Cat

xxx﹙And If I had one wish come true ﹚ As the young state then felt someone's hands on her back, she turned her head a bit to see who was healing her out of her peripheral vision. It was Melody, her eastern state. She smiled weakly to her, beginning to feel a lot better because of her quick healing, but she was still so very exhausted from using so much of her magic at once. She had just begun to heal Andrew's wound, but suddenly she felt the ground quickly approach her face before she crashed into it, protecting her face from impact with her hands, but she still let out an Oof! when she impacted, knowing that it would surely leave a bruise. But what she was really worried about was Andrew. The cry of pain of paion that he emmitted was sincere and it worried her greatly. "Tennessee!" She cried out, going up many octaves than what she was used to. Sitting up as soon as he fell onto his side, she quickly went over and removed the spears from his back and shoulder, tears forming in the corners of her eyes before streaking down her cheeks. "Tennessee, are you okay? Please tell me you're okay." She told him softly, running a hand through his hair, to move them out of his eyes before she quickly looked over at Luz Maria, sending daggers through her stare. But as Massachusetts intervened, she returned to trying to heal him as quickly as she could whispering the incantation from earlier as she tried to stop the bleeding, hoping that he wasn't too badly hurt.

Luz Maria was inside fighting for control, she didn't want to hurt her friends any more "Give me back my body, you monster!" She held onto her head "Ah! Not until they're all dead!" Everything once again seemed like slow motion. The cry of her brother made her want to tear up, but she kept strong. She stared at Leah. Her chainsaw. When had she held her sister's chainsaw? She picked up the heavy weapon. She stood up and closed her eyes. She had to remember how to use it. She revved it up, the loud sound of it filled her eyes. This was the main melee weapon in L4D2. She felt so cool holding it. "Oh hell yeah." Was all she could say. She had the urge to just charge at Luz, but that wasn't a good idea nor had she wanted to hurt her severely. She smiled arrogantly. Her wounds, they didn't throb at the moment. The adrenaline of the situation was nullifying everything. Yet she couldn't get close range with the thing. She set it on the ground carefully and clasped her hands together. "Heaven's Blaze!" A white flame burst in her hands and towards Luz. It wasn't made to hurt severely, yet she wanted to test one of her few holy attacks on her.

At this point, "couldn't" wasn't in Chesa's vocabulary. Even if the Holy magic made Fenrir dormant, it would give them time to figure out a way to get the black blood out of her. Lukas too. The spears caught her off guard and, while she managed to doge most of them, she swore as one of them cut deep into her side. Pressing her hand against the wound, she healed it a little, at least to stop the bleeding before charging at her sister again. "Leah, stop! That's still Luz Maria!" She snapped at the witch, noticing how the black fire burn the Mexican's skin. Seeing her sister fighting for control, she started chanting under her breath again, the Holy magic spreading across her skin. "Hermana, fight him!" She pleaded, wrapping her arms tightly around Luz Maria in something akin to a wrestling hold, turning her body to the other Holy attacks. "You're stronger than that mutt!" The magic flared with the presence of Fenrir's black aura and started sinking into Luz Maria's body.

" Dude if I had crazy power like that id go for the world and not waste time with these people..." she said sighing.” Well, but that’s just me...” she said She held her wand up again. "It surprises me you chose such a weak body, you could to so much more with a stronger one, like a big wrestler." she laughed "that would be cool" Then out from her wand came a bright white light moving fast toward the Mexican.
