Absolute Virtue To be fair, just because I don't feel like wasting words doesn't necessarily mean I'm not trying or wasting your time. If you want to talk about efficiency, you learn just as much about character if not more from my few words as your many. The primary difference is that you set up your character to have an early disadvantage which of course isn't going to actually be played through. Or I set myself up to get a better grade. I believe one of the categories is originality. I found the post amusing, and that was it's primary purpose. If your plan is to throw a tantrum and stop posting because I'm not typing more than what I really need to to play my character then you've got problems.
Of course you found the post amusing, you wrote it. I found it dull and redundant. Just saying,
My previous fights? All of those took a minimalist approach as well. But you know what, it's actually harder to fit the same s**t into a smaller package.
Right, I don't care if I win or lose. So why am I still here? Because I made a commitment to be here, which does mean something to me. So instead of finding excuses and making threats to not even participate, I bite the bullet and still post.
I'm not changing my post. If you don't like it, you can choose to not post at all. There's a difference between me saying I don't care and you purposefully not posting because you're being a spoiled brat, and I'm sure Vin is capable of making a sound judgment that that kind of behavior is well, stupid.
Why didn't I post first? I wanted to see how long it'd take you to even get started. I knew I was going to be here. See, I don't have to worry about you timing out or anything, it's not that important to me. I know what makes for good writing and good storytelling, and I'm telling you now, your approach isn't it.
Why didn't I PM it to him? Because the instructions clearly said to post it in the thread. It doesn't matter to me enough to need to ask, it's not like knowing would be of any benefit to me. I mean, sure I guess maybe I'm one of the very few people who doesn't "metagame"(seriously, I walk into traps when I'm told they're traps; which gives me huge RP points all around).
But don't lie to yourself and act like sending a PM was faster. If it were so simple as you had suggested, posting it in the thread to begin with instead of asking if you could PM it would have sped up the process. PMs aren't received any faster than forum posts. How exactly was it any faster at all, especially when we started late anyway because of that? Text limit? Yeeeah.

I told you where my character is standing and what he's wearing. Yeah, that's all you need to know right now. I didn't do anything else. You're just being a whiny b***h now. You have PLENTY to work with. If you can't work with knowing where someone standing around doing nothing across from you then you should probably find another game to play.
What I like most though is that you had enough time to make a long-winded post in the OOC, with formatting, but couldn't write an IC post for me to respond to before bed time.

All I hear is excuses and lies. I won't repeat myself because all you're doing is playing some apologetic game, trying to justify your obviously wrong actions. It's not even working because most of your logic contradicts itself.
