They were a mess, and without a way to find a way back, the anger and hatred turned to misery and frustration, and while this in no way meant they had given up, the momentary loss with the fear of something that dared imagine something more permanent wasn't enough for the two, young students to handle. Two boils who didn't have friends before Amityville and deeply treasured the few they had come to grow close to. Barth was their friend they had since the beginning. Calder knew Barth through Christof, and wondered if the extra time spent somehow made the loss worse - not that Calder would take offense if anyone dare say that.
As it was, he could only break under the shared misery and while the Igor rocked, Calder rubbed his back, finding that all he could do was just that simple action. While he didn't feel like a rock, he felt a bit more solid than Chrsitof did. The Igor had never known how to handle his emotions and when he did, he usually broke down entirely. Calder needed him to stay focused. He would need his help more than ever. So, he did what his mother often did when he cried. He rubbed the Igor's back slowly. However, while Christof wasn't used to expressing his emotions, Calder did so freely to the point it was hard to suppress anything even for show. Not only did his heart hurt from loss of a friend, but for something a little more. A lot more.
"We're going to find him. We'll find that tent. We will." He continued to whisper, knowing that no lullaby would make either one of them feel better. He just had to keep stating the facts and the hard truth of it was that Chrsitof and Calder would not stop until they found their demon.

The sudden explosion of students made Riyo's eyes widen in surprise. At first she'd thought they had all died painful deaths, but the realization that they didn't phase in like she had struck out that assumption.
So...What had happened?
Seeing Hel approach was both a relief and a reminder of the deep shame she felt for having left them at such a crucial time. The feline tried not to show it, but her demeanor seemed... Much less aggressive than usual.
"Yeah. I'm alright." She agreed, but it didn't really sound like she agreed. There was no way Riyo was about to admit her feelings of inadequacy to Hel. No way in... Hel.
Shoving her hands in her pockets, the ghoul pushed up to her feet, trying to act as if they'd simply left her behind momentarily instead of what really happened. Oh, and look. Shun was there too. Perfect. "Yes. Thank you for noticing." The demon then turned back to Hel. "Did you manage to free Lizzy and Lattice?"

Freya heard her sisters voice, and it made her entire body shudder with relief. She turned her head to look at Christof and Calder, while both of her hands pressed against her mouth. "They tooks Barth." She whispered to Herryk. "The bad guys. I don't knows why they tooks him, but he's in trouble.."
Christof's reaction broke her heart. She knew that feeling, it had been the same one the moment that vision of Lattice had come to her. Only now.. they were so much farther away.
And Barth could be anywhere.
"We has to go back and saves him." She was whispering only to Herryk, but she knew she didn't have to tell her other team-mates - she knew that was their plan, as well.

Team Awesome
Hel was about to respond to Shun and Riyo, until the grief the kelpie and Professor Patches seemed to be feeling caught her attention. The reaper paused, staring over at the two. Why…were they upset? Everyone was making it back slowly but surely, right? The ghoul glanced around, now fidgeting as they were still down two team members…the team members she would worry about the most if their group got split up.
Jack damn it.
“…Ah…yes…but…uh…” Hel kept looking around, trying to spot a cowboil and a lycan. “…I’ll tell more in a moment friend just…” Her brows furrowed, and she was quickly growing anxious. Speaking of Lizzy and Lattice…they should appear soon too…right? Hopefully?

TEAM ONE SHOT VENTURE
((entering from Gauntlet))
Demi might have whimpered when his fear attacked was merely deflected away like a piece of dirt off a shoulder but it didn't compare to the arrow that sliced through his ear and made him yelp out in pain and clenching onto the sensitive part of him. jacking monsters have no honor.
But it all paled in comparison to the bright light that bleached everything out of sight, and then all the violent sounds stopped.
It was a moment before he got up from shaky limbs and took a glance around. "Ugh, my poor pupils." he groaned out quietly before tilting his newly pierced ear around. "Does everyone still have all their limbs?" he asked over to willow before wandering over to the tiger ghoul. Everything was still so jacking hazy.

((entering from the tent)) Team ARPKThe frost demon could feel the ground beneath her and for a while she lay there, savouring her freedom.
Who was that woman?
Get up, get up, the voice in her head called. That's right, did Lizzy, Lattice and Vieve make it too? Pushing herself to her feet, the ghoul would find herself outside the haunted house.....along with many other students. Were they all involved in that battle? Edel wasn't sure if she could ever thank all of them enough.
Moure she suddenly remembered. She had caught a brief glimpse of the patchwork boil at the tent – was he here with the rest too? There was a knot in her stomach as she began her search – what if they had gotten him? What if they had gotten the others?
There was a short reprieve from her anxiety as she found the patchwork boil standing right in front of her again. For a moment, Edel simply looked at Moure, unable to say anything.
“You're here.....” she managed, though her voice was small. “Thank Jack.”

Cady watched, sprawled in the grass, as the other teams reformed. She was pretty sure she saw Willow appear nearby, but she didn't have the energy to investigate. Demi's voice carrying across the yard let her know he'd arrived, too.
She saw Christof and the horse-boil, huddling together. Who was Barth? The lanky fellow from earlier?
She let her head fall back down into the spongy lawn. Bul had yet to appear, as did Bea. Were they trapped somewhere too? She wasn't sure what to do about that. Or how to feel about the whole debacle, really.
She wanted some spookies and a nap. Cadys were generally not equipped to handle delicate situations like these.

Christof had fallen quiet after a while, sitting close with Calder as he joined him on the stoop, gingerly leaning against his shoulder as he stared at the Mark on his hand.
The wheels were turning, and slowly, his expression had slackened from anguish to quiet thought. Digestion. Rationalization of the situation. Inside, he was screaming, ripping, tearing, smashing, all those pretty... *human* parts, there was no doubt what they were now.
What Master Fell would give to get his talons on human parts... it was impossible in Halloween, though. But if they were all here now, together... maybe there was a way.
Just... chop them up into small, manageable, customizable pieces. The image of it behind his eyelids as he closed his eyes to take a slow, clenching breath seemed to calm him more than even his remaining friend's comfort.
Slowly, he pulled his notebook from his pocket, shuffling as though sleep walking, writing as he approached his other Team Mates and their cluster of friends, holding it out for any of them to read once he got close enough.
Need to find Parts. Pertinent. Anything you have that might be useful. Master Barth would have wanted it this way.
His expression was unreadable, lax and aimed mostly at the ground as he waited for anyone to offer something up. Underneath the glazed look, though, was curling, bottled fire.

((ENTERING FROM GAUNT)) TEAM
"AGGRHAHHHHHHHHhH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Landing in an all too familiar place Bul ruptured into tons of spines and spikes in a sort of partial natural state heaving angrily. "WHERE THE ******** IS DR. H??!" he shouted out in no particular direction and launched a fist into the ground, tail whipping up violently into the air. It would take him a couple breaths of fresh air to realize where he really was and Bul began to slowly morph back after seeing all the familiar faces around him.
One moment he was in a dream where he had to traverse a bathtub and the next a field facing the very things he was keeping an eye out for the entire time. Being dumped onto them by that door was offensive to the beast but he felt a drive stronger than any ever felt before in the presence of the Soul Harvester. For some reason there on that field and in that tent he was so certain he could handle ANYTHING.
Finding sight of his team member Bul rushed to them first and checked on each of them. "Guys are you alright? Everyone's alright yea?" Sobbing encircled them and the half beast could not help but look to every student who'd obviously lost something in that battle. Even spying Christof the half beast bit his lip and hesitated. The guy had his team to help him cope but something in Bul began to grow viciously nauseated and he had to hold his stomach kneeling over. "********... I knew it... I knew something like this was bound to ******** happen. Why the ******** now WHY." he hissed looking up to Demi Willow and Cady. Soon his eyes got wide and he straightened up nervously. "Bea... where's... where's Bea??!?"

Moure was still looking around, searching the crowd of returning students with his bright blue eyes, trying to find the halo of blue hair that would signal to him that Edel was here. Safe.
Then, his eyes caught the deep blue of her hair, and the patchwork immediately looked to her, looking her over to convince himself that she was here. She was safe. Edel was safe.
"Edel." His expression of worry began to melt, breaking into relief as he quickly made his way over to meet the Ice Demoness. He met her there in between, looking her over again, trying to see if she was hurt from her captivity among those false-hunters.
At her soft words, Moure gave a deep, thankful nod. Then, he did something he wasn't even expecting he would do. The Runner reached out and embraced Edel in a hug. She had been his first friend he'd made after he'd escaped from Cphira's home, the first person he'd shared his interest in Scario Kart with. She'd been the first to make him feel welcome at the school, even if all those things had only happened during the Open House. They still mattered to Moure.
Then, Moure let go and stepped back, not knowing how the blue-haired ghoul would react to his hug. Still, his expression was one of relief, the anxiety that had built during his attempted rescue of her finally breaking. His voice was quiet, though just as thankful as hers had been. "You too...you're alive..." Moure said, letting the worry he'd held for her safety slowly disperse, his face taking up a slight smile, too wound up by the events that had just passed to do anything more joyous than that. He was happy enough though with that. Edel was safe, here. "Are you alright? Are you hurt?" Moure began, then paused, slowly finishing with another trailing statement, "I was so worried..."

Team Awesome
What happened? Where was he? Suddenly the world was white, soundless, painless and breathless. Everything he had been feeling was muted. He felt at peace. So asking questions like What, Why and Where seemed useless. There was no need to worry. Everything was fine...
However, fuzzy minded as he was, Mot began to hear voices. The conversation was strange. He couldn't make heads or tales of it at all. It just made him irritated. Why disturb this peaceful lull with business that was not his own?
Soon after, strange things zoomed by. What was going on now? Suddenly the boil wanted to curl into a ball.
Curl into a ball, hold his head, and pray for home.
Then he opened his eyes. He was back in the front yard, where this all began. The hat-less reaper gulped, slowly uncurling himself and looking around. People were upset, but alive, accounted for...?
Where was Hel? Mitsu? Riyo? Shun?
Where was Lizzy?!
Mot shot up to his feet, panicking. No! He wanted to save her! Did she... was she still with them?! He looked to his left, right, behind.. where?! Where?! His heart beat erratically in his chest, painfully. His throat hurt, his eyes watered.
Please be okay...I'm...so sorry...

Freya's eyes widened when she read the note, stopping just before she'd finished it.
"Stops that." She flickered her gaze sternly up to Christof, scolding him. "Stops talkings as if Barth is.. is.. anythings but okay. He's in there, we're out here, and we goes and gets him back. None of this 'what he would have wanted' poops. Yeh asks him what he wants when we gets in there."
She hadn't given up on Lattice, and neither was she about to just give up on Barth. Her lower lip jutted out in determination. "We has to heals up and finds him. Okays. So where are the bandaids?" She held out her puncture riddled arm.

[Entering from Gauntlet]
TEAM ARPK!
She had been through many things in her short stay at Amity, but this took the cake. Being put in cages, taunted, having their natural abilities locked down... Treated like nothing but specimens.
The brief period of whiteness passed, and she felt pain. So much pain. When she finally found the energy to open her eyes, she was laying down somewhere, away from the cages. Away from their captors. Away from that man in the cloak with the big, glowing scythe. Away from-
"TESS! WHERE IS TESS?!" She gasped, sitting up suddenly and quickly as she yelped out in pain; her whole body ached as she rubbed at her arms, tears swelling in her eyes; what if her best friend had been taken by those horrible people for trying to save her? She briefly heard the yell of one student she had met briefly at prom - Bul - and made a mental note to speak to him later.
He seemed to know something she didn't.
Looking around, she tried to spot her best friend, feeling a little relieved at spotting a couple of familiar faces - Edel was here, Calder, the ghoul who found the card and released everyone, Christof...
"MOT!" She begun tearing up again, pulling herself off the ground and running towards the reaper, resisting the urge to wince at every step she took, "I'm sorry!" She launched herself at the boil, determined to give him a hug.

Team ARPKThe ghoul trembled a little as she looked into Moure's blue eyes, in many ways they spoke the same things as hers. She struggled to hold back the compulsion to hug him, to reach out for him. Personal boundaries-
- who cares. Her eyes widened as she felt the patchwork boil pull her into an embrace, stunned. The shock quickly wore off and the frost demon was returning the hug, still shaking slightly. That's right, Moure was the first person to have welcomed her into a world so unfamiliar to her. The boil had done nothing else but shower her with his warm, warm kindness every time. She hadn't forgotten their first meeting at the Open House either. He was her fondest memory.
Even as they broke apart, the ghoul continued to hold onto his hands, glad that he was here for her. The trauma from her capture would probably come back to haunt her later, but for now it simply ebbed away, it didn't matter to her for now.
To Moure's questions, the ghoul simply nodded and shook her head, while looking downwards. There was a rush of warmth to her face, yes the ghoul was blushing a little. She couldn't find the words to say anything else in return, but to Moure's last words she squeezed his hands and looked up to give him a smile. That should say enough.

Willow paused as she saw Demi, and then looked around. "From what I can tell...." She answered slowly. "They might not have all their team mates though..."
Her tail flickered frowning, as she saw Cady laying down, "Looks like we all could use a nap..." She muttered before pausing when Christof came over and she looked at the paper. "What kind of parts?" She asked him looking confused, she wasn't aware they were in the human world.
There was a long pause when Bul dropped in. Her ears twitched and she looked at the half beast. "I... haven't seen her since we got to that field...." She looked around, that might not be a good thing. "I'm sure she'll show up soon." The tigress looked hopeful, "Like everyone else that's missing."
