"Arrgh..." The Sneasel had been able to avoid the attack and was now counter-attacking. But they still had their chance. They had been lucky so far. "Don't let that hit you!" She yelled.
Kallie felt the wind the claw kicked up as it swiped through the air, headed for her back. She tried to drop to her belly and roll out of the way.

"Kage, tackle." Molly called to her pokemon. The Snivy darted back towards the Numel, attempting to hit it head on.

This time however the leafy snake would bounce off the Numel's thick body. The same straight tactics weren't going to succeed more then once against this Pokemon...even if he wasn't that bright. Stamping his feet, the Numel charged forward; it was time to show the Snivy what a real Tackle looked like!
((Lastly I'll teach you about items.))
((First off Items can only be used on your attack turn. Yours; and it uses up that turn. To be clear, if you use an item, you cannot attack.))

"Brace yourself" Molly told her pokemon. Kage nodded and curled into a small ball. The Numel would either run right past him, or hit staight towards the wall.

Neuman walked into a battle room and then waited for a reply or someone to walk in. He didn't like waiting so to pass the time that he waited he played solitaire, cheating so he could finish each game. If he had to he would win any means necesary. "I hope that this pokemon will give me some results. I don't like weakness." He said looking at the pokeball in his hand.

A shimmer to his right would have a small potion appear on the ground. The top uncorked so as not to cause any problems with consumption as the shape made it clear it wasn't your everyday potion.
"Have your pokemon drink the potion and we shall start your battle."
To his left another shimmer would take place. This time a ground type pokemon would appear as it smirked lightly with a crocodile's grin upon it's face. A Sandile would become his opponent the moment that they bother to drink the potion.Sandile lvl:2/Modest Hp: 14 Pp: 17 Att: 7 Def; 7 Spd: 8 Sp Att: 7 Sp Def: 7 Moves: Leer, Rage, Thunder Fang Exp to be gained: 35 Palmer leaned down and grasped the cold vial in his hand. Issuing Arthur towards him he tilted the potion slightly so the growlithe could lick the few drops hanging from the lip. Grabbing Arthur's muzzle, Palmer looked at his pokemon fiercely. "Don't take this battle lightly, you know as well as I do that this isn't play time. Do what you know best... Don't let me down buddy." Arthur turned his gaze towards the sandile, taking a stance he stood at the ready, watching intently. [[I'm going to roll to see who goes first since they have the same speed]]

(11 - 11) + (8 - 6) = 2 DMG
The attack would be mild compared to the hit Numel had taken before, but still he had succeeded in dealing a blow to his enemy. Legs flailing slightly as he tried to move more quickly then they were meant to, the Numel retreated from his leafy opponent. Once he'd gained some distance, he hunkered down as before.
It had worked once right, why not again?
[Time for the end of the less: Capturing Pokemon.]
[Now as stated before, you can only use an item on your own Attack turn, this includes PokeBalls.]
[Each wild Pokemon has a "Capture Rate", this is usually equivalent to 1+ their HP. So if their HP is 14, the Capture Rate will be 15. This will lower with their HP as well. So say you've knocked a wild Pokemon down to 7 HP. the Capture Rate will then be 8.]
[To capture a Pokemon you must throw a Pokeball, and roll 1D20 just as you would for an attack. This is called a Capture Roll.]
[To successfully capture a Pokemon you must roll their "Capture Rate" or higher. So if their Capture Rate is 8, you need to roll an 8 or higher to succeed.]
[If you fail to capture them, the PokeBall you used will break in some fashion or another and become unusable.]

So wrapped up in his little games, Neuman would fail to notice the changes in the room around him. His surroundings turned black, hiding the rest of the world from his view...the air would suddenly become chilled, the kind that scent ominous chills up and down ones spine...lastly, and likely the first thing the child would notice, was when a thick, creeping mist began to wisp across the floor.
"Welcome Child...to your Execution! GWAHAHAHAHAHAA!!!" A sinister voice called out, cackling hysterically toward the end. Nothing would reveal itself. Only a voice which seemed to inhabit every direction. "Tell my child, would you like the Tutorial, or can we move straight to the part where I skin you like a fish!? GWAHAHAHAHAHA!!!"

But, still that claw would find the Purrloin's back. The claws would sink deep, but not deep enough to kill as he would push the him into the ground. The battle would seem then to end ...as he retracts his claws slowly ...as he let the blood drip steadily from his claws.
Somehow, the cat had twisted enough to prevent this from being fatal, but it was over now either way as he whip his claws to send it flying to the ground.
It was over now ...as he straightens up and walks backwards a bit ...waiting for the trainer to recall him.

((I have already answered that question, so you should know that both pokemon simply attacks each other when the dice roll is the same. The highest roll wins, and the one whom fails simply attacks again while the winner goes on the defense.))
The Sandile though saw the indecision on the trainer and pokemon's face. Rookies ..they should never just sit and watch, and since, the Growlithe had taken up the potion and drunk it ...there was no reason for him to stop as he starts forward swiftly. His tail flicking from side to side ...as his fangs crackled with electricity.
No he wasn't going to take it easy on his opponent ...not at all ...as he leap with his mouth open wide in typical crocodile style.

"A tutorial would be nice. And let me get my pokemon out real quick just for fun." Neuman then threw out his pokeball with his Bronzor in it and the little pokemon came out and floated above the ground wating for the first attack. Bronzor lvl:2/Serious Hp: 14 Pp: 16 Att: 6 Def: 9 Spd: 6 Sp att: 6 Sp Def: 9 Moves: Tackle, Confusion Exp: 0/100

"No..." Arlie breathed. They'd lost. Kallie had escaped with her life, but they'd still lost. She sank to her knees in defeat. The cat Pokemon succumbed to the pain and flopped over onto her side, unconcious. Blood leaked from her shoulders. Arlie sniffed and held out her Poke Ball, the red light pulling her Pokemon into its depths. The girl then regained her composure and stood up.

The mechanical voice would chime in then ....
"You have failed, please report to the pokemon center to have your pokemon heal and return here again to try again. You have one more time to fail this trial before it no longer becomes possible for you to join your team."
The voice will tell Arlie as she could see that the only way next was out. The pokemon center was probably one of the easiest building to find at the academy and it is there she would have to tread in defeat in order to get her pokemon healed.

No he wasn't going to take it easy on his opponent ...not at all ...as he leap with his mouth open wide in typical crocodile style.((So I rolled a four, you a five, thus I will attack and the real battle begins)) ((I'm assuming that damage is nullified, if any damage is to be taken at all, since 5+7=4+8.)) Palmer flicked his hand up, "Arthur! Dodge it and counter with a Bite attack." The growlithe sprung off it's back pads and lunged forward towards the incoming sandile. The desert croc pokemon whipped itself forward, arcs of searing electricity crackling from its mouth. The two pokemon met halfway and as the two began to tilt their jaws going for the kill Arthur swung his tail counterclockwise in an attempt to evade, while his lips peeled back from dazzlinging sharp fangs which were reaching for the Sandile's stomach. Growlithe Hp: 14, Pp: 18, Att: 8, Def: 7

The Snivy was flung back a bit, but got back on its feet, when it heard his trainer's next command. "Kage use pursuit!" Moly called, looking determined. Dark energy formed around Kage. As the grass snake stood up on his two legs, and lifted up his arms, he sent the energy toward the opponent.
{{Sorry, if that now accurate, on what pursuit would look like, and yes, I believe I understand. When using any item [potion or pokeball], you use your attack roll, correct?}}
