The State of Florida Rutilio Acosta Carriedo Grade 10 The Sunny Sophomore!
Florida isn't so much a place where one goes to reinvent oneself, as it is a place where one goes if one no longer wished to be found.
☀✿☀✿☀✿☀✿☀✿☀✿☀✿☀✿☀✿☀✿☀✿☀✿☀✿☀✿☀✿☀✿☀✿☀✿☀✿☀✿☀✿☀✿☀✿☀✿☀✿☀✿☀ Florida's eyes flashed with amusement and he was more than ready to play the Georgian's drama game. He started to rise to the role of the neglectful lover. "No, Kartlos, my lo--Ack!"
Rutilio squeaked and flailed a bit as he almost fell out of his chair when California grabbed him up into the hug. It took all his sense of balance to keep himself from actually falling as the way he was grabbed forced him to face Juliana. He blinked up at the girl before grinning his usual spacy idiot grin. "Chica, are you going to play with us? Is that what this is? It will be fun~!"
☀✿☀✿☀✿☀✿☀✿☀✿☀✿☀✿☀✿☀✿☀✿☀✿☀✿☀✿☀✿☀✿☀✿☀✿☀✿☀✿☀✿☀✿☀✿☀✿☀✿☀✿☀ <> <> Florida has its own rhythm, too. People go to work, they watch their children learn and grow and start families of their own. They play in the sun and pass their lives enjoying the outsized blessings that make our state unique.

☁ William Kirkland ☁ New Zealand・Aotearoa・Land of the Long White Cloud "Sophomore and ready to learn!" ☀ "Yeah, tha cafeteria ain't tha greatest place ta be readin'. Especially when anyone can just end up spillin' their lunch on yer book." William chuckled softly when he heard that the ol' chap had left his lunch in the dorm. "Well, that was silly of ya. Good thin' I make extras in case Adelaide or Brett ferget their lunch." He reached into his lunch bag and plucked out another container, even another clean bottle of water along with utensils then slid them to the welsh teen. "No prob! It's what bros do after all." He returned the smile with his usual sheepish one. "C'mon now. Ya dun wan't an empty stomach fer tha rest of tha day, do ya?" He took another bite out of his fish, sipping some water right after gulping down the few pieces of fish and a couple of fries. Out of Wellington: Translation: Tsuki_Feliciana_Heiwajima

She didn't know why, but she could see some traces of Spain in this one. Well, old Spain. Not the new Spain that had fallen for that annoying runt, Lovino. Because of him, Spain never came and visited her anymore, well not that she is complaining or anything. But as quickly as her attention phased into internal thought, something Landon said immediately took her attention. Fluttering her long eyelashes at the blond before her, the Brazilian bombshell's lips curved into yet another charming smile as she shook her head lightly, her golden curls bouncing about. "Ah não! I didn't know there was a beach nearby. I drove here from my airport, but it was inland~!" She exclaimed as she lifted her arms into the air, still careful of the Pele lunchbox that she had swinging about in her right hand. After a second or two, she bend her arms at the elbow, pulling her clenched hands to her chest as she stared at him, pouting as if Santa Claus had missed her house on Christmas Day.
But her expression softened as Landon continued to speak, still in that same confident-almost-cocky attitude of his. Her emerald orbs focused on him as she fluttered her thick eyelashes once more, her expression slowly becoming more dumbfounded as he continued. "Eu tenho todas as idéias?" She repeated after the state, her head slowly beginning to tilt to the side. But then her attention was brought to Kartlos as he was pulled simultaneously to the state's side, along with Rutilio on the opposide side. When he finished speaking and flashed her a smile and wink, the plump lips of the buxom woman parted. But then again, her attention was quickly brought to Florida, whose usual grin perked her interest in it all. "Jogar? Ah yes!" Quickly the cogs began to whirr in the Brazilian's mind. Although she might be seen as just a Brazilian Barbie doll, she was still very intelligent; especially in math and science, but that was another discussion for another day. "Yes, yes! I want to play with you all~! If you boys need a ride, I would be more than happy to take you lot~!" She exclaimed, extending her arms upwards once more, her Pele lunchbox jiggling around from her grasp on its handle. "Vamos! To the beach~!"
[Out.Of.Rio: Btw, the two movies she was talking about were "Rio" and "Fast Five"~! ^u^; ]

The sense of adventure about it all was only enhanced by the manner in which he had formulated the whole idea. "Well, to be honest, the admin hasn't told anyone yet. I just figured it out myself." He tapped his forehead meaningfully again, though only Rutilio and perhaps Kartlos had any idea who his sources were.
Lacking much knowledge of foreign languages, California had no idea which one Juliana's next words were from, though he would guess Italian from the way it sounded. No; the lilt was just a little off from what he had heard in Hollywood... Was it Brazilian? In a sudden stroke of memory, Landon recalled that Brazil's national language was Portuguese, not that it helped him answer Juliana in kind.
Rutilio managed to coax an English response out of the buxom girl, though, when he asked her if she would like to play with them. At Juliana's affirmative offer to drive them all to the beach, Landon perked up even more. "All right! You have a car!" he cheered, practically flinging the others aside to squeeze the girl tightly in a quick yet non-choking embrace. "Let's go! I'll show you the way!" he exclaimed, darting under her surprised arms for the cafeteria exit. He couldn't wait to set foot on that pristine beach! ***

☀✿☀✿☀✿☀✿☀✿☀✿☀✿☀✿☀✿☀✿☀✿☀✿☀✿☀✿☀✿☀✿☀✿☀✿☀✿☀✿☀✿☀✿☀✿☀✿☀✿☀✿☀ Florida really did fall out of his chair this time when California "released" him and toppled over landing on his upper shoulders and neck with a yelp of surprise. It took some squirming to get himself dislodged from upside down between two chairs, but he finally rotated back into a sitting position only suffering the side effects of feeling a bit dizzy from the blood rushing to his head. By the time he had recovered his little brother was already long gone.
"Alta! Chico! You don't know where you're going!" he called after the Californian even though it was probably too little too late and they'd have to wait for the blonde state to realize Brazil hadn't told them where she parked yet.

(icons are linked to songs either from or about North Carolina. Not necessarily my favorites.) "First In Flight" The Tarheel State The Old North State
North Carolina, USA Charlotte C. "Jones" Freshman "Oh fish actually sounds good right about now. Sure hope they have some flounder, shrimp, and frog legs with some corn bread!" Charlotte said cheerfully and mentally smacking her lips at the thought. "I'll see what I can get." She skipped over to the Cafeteria line, browsing through the foods for ones that matched her and her sister's criteria. She came back with a large tray of food, just enough for the two. "Here ya go!" The Carolinian split the tray so they could have their own plate. Finally she looked around them and noticed that there were a lot more people here then their was on the first day of school "Wow, everybody and everybody's brother is here." slipping into her southern phrase while she forked a shrimp. (Out of Cheerwine and Pepsi: Frog legs really aren't bad. I mean if you didn't know any better you would of thought it was just a small fried chicken leg. ) Southern Slang Dictionary: "everybody and everybody's brother" - large crowd or a lot of people at once
everyone is called 'darling', "yall" is a proper noun, sweet tea is the house wine, and you never EVER disrespect your elders...

【 Mahalo nui ia Ke Ali`i wahine 】 〖 `O Lili`ulani `O ka Wo hi ku 〗 Leilani Kamea Malu Freshmen ﹙ There’s no place I’d rather be ﹚ x﹙ Then on my surfboard out at sea ﹚ xx﹙ Lingering in the ocean blue ﹚ xxx﹙And If I had one wish come true ﹚ "U-Um mahalo Charlotte." Leilani muttered slowly as she watched her sister walk off to the lunch line so she could get a portion large enough for the two to share. She hadn't eaten frog's legs since before England had "discovered" her, but she didn't know how Charlotte liked them so she just hoped that if the school did have them, they would at least taste good. It took a moment or two, but the island state finally shuffled over to a table and sat down, mindful of her arm before she let out a heavy sigh. But as soon as she had a moment to herself, the Carolina bounded back with a helping of food that was more than enough for the two of them to share. "M-Mahalo." She repeated as she picked up her plate and began to spoon her portion of the contents upon it. When Charlotte mentioned that a great deal of people were here, Leilani looked up and looked around. Out of all of the people there, she recognized only a few. Well there were Arthur and Cherelle, but she definitely didn't want to talk to them at the moment. There was also Cuba, whom she had heard things from. And there was Florida, her distant "sibling" although related by doctrine and not by actual blood. Besides those people though, she didn't really recognize the rest so she just spooned some food into her mouth with a light sigh, feeling a bit better the more she ate. All our best heroes are losers. ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬Adelaide walked down the hallway with Hal casually walking besides her. Their pace was kind of quick since they apparently missed a bit of the lunch period so far and the micronation definitely wanted to eat her lunch before she started getting crabby. Her backpack was draped over her shoulder as the fingertips of her right hand drummed against the material of the strap as the pair finally made it to the cafeteria. "A'right, we're here." She mused to herself as she looked around the rather large room. She saw random members of her large Kirkland family scattered throughout but since she promised this lunch with Hal, she decided that her full attention should stay on him. "C'mon, let's go eat. I'm sta'vin'." She told him with a small smile before she led the two to a table and she took her seat across from him and took out her lunch to eat. ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ As we let our own lights shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others. xxx xxx

Republic of Iceland | Emil Steilsson The Freezing Junior □□□□□□□□□□□□□□□□□□□□□□□□□□□□□□□□□□□ Emil shrugged slightly. "Alright then..." He wasn't much of a talker, so he really had nothing else to say. If he possibly did, it would probably just make things awkward like usual. His clear, sky blue eyes traveled all along the lunchroom, finding the other Nordics in their own spots as well as seeing his roommate Thien by herself at a table. A curious look was plastered in his short gaze. Didn't she have family to talk to? The Icelander was surprised she was alone. Well, at least she wouldn't have to alone for long. The lunch period wasn't going to last forever after all. All to do now was to wait for the bell to ring and head to science class. It wasn't his favorite class, but it was better than doing nothing for the rest of the day. □□□□□□□□□□□□□□□□□□□□□□□□□□□□□□□□□□□Out of Reykjavik: Translation:

☁ William Kirkland ☁ New Zealand・Aotearoa・Land of the Long White Cloud "Sophomore and ready to learn!" ☀ William offered a short smile to his brother. "Yer welcome." The New Zealander guessed he should be wary of his elder in case he forgets his things too. Well, it was going to be a handful making sure everything was in place for three people, but they were family so it was okay. For now. He eventually drank all of his water and managed to finish eating the two large cooked fish with just a few fries left over. The teen may be a bit scrawny, but he was a pretty big eater. Or at least he himself thought he was. He plucked a few napkins from his lunch bag and gently dabbed his soft lips, brushing away the crumbs from his meal. "So, whatcha readin', bru?" The book Cymru had with him didn't seem to be a book the New Zealander has seen him with. Then again, he really didn't pay attention to that. Out of Wellington: Translation: Tsuki_Feliciana_Heiwajima
