Meme smiled at the boys' manners, clearly they were very well behaved. He heard the whisper from Helena and gave a soft sigh. "Boys, we're going to head into the kitchen with Cook and see if she needs help bringing out the food." he said softly, bringing Helena into the kitchen's to speak with her privately. "I don't know how he is....I haven't really seen him much today. I just didn't want them to hear that and worry." He said, gesturing toward the siblings in the next room.

Kuro blushed for a moment when his head was raised, he could feel Akito's warm hands on his face and he could have stared at the boy for all eternity. "N-no.....it's......it's not...." he struggled to say before that voice came back. Stop denying your reality. You know you want to see him writhe in pleasure underneath you. Kuro gritted his teeth and tried his hardest to ignore it. "It's not your scars.....just....get in bed. I'll send the guests shortly." he said softly, quickly helping Akito into bed and then rushing out of the room just to stop that voice from continuing. Kuro took a few moments to gather himself first before deciding he needed to be alone somewhere. He knew Rufus wasn't in his room and so continued to open his door without knocking but much to his surprise Rufus was there on his bed. "O-oh....I'm....sorry Sire...I didn't expect to see you here."

 Rufus sat up and waved Kuro in. "It's fine. Take a seat - I'm hiding for a moment. I don't want to arrange a public funeral for that - ahem." He shook his head. "What's wrong with -" He winced. "Was that the vase just down the hallway?" He was referring to the faint smashing sound.

Helena nodded, biting her lip. "He'll be fine, Meme. But would it be possible to talk to Rufus about them staying here until Akito can go home to look after them? Liam and Tom - the youngest two - were having nightmares and wanted him last night..."
Akito remained in bed for a moment after Kuro left, watching the door. But he couldn't stay where he was, knowing something was wrong. So he lunged out of bed and awkwardly ran down the hall, looking for a sign of where Kuro had gone - and stumbled straight into a vase, watching it shatter and freezing where he landed on the floor. "S-sorry..." he mumbled, gulping as he realised he'd be in huge trouble.

Meme nodded. "I think that's possible. But I think he's still out there talking to the press. I'll run it by him when he comes inside to relax." he said softly, turning toward Cook now. "Would you mind setting out some breakfast for the boys?"

Kuro had a bad feeling about this, what if someone had succeeded in breaking in? "Stay here Rufus." he said in an authoritative tone as he exited to the hallway, seeing Akito lying face down on the floor among the shattered mess. "Akito..." he sighed as he collected the boy. Pervert. Kuro carried Akito back to his bedroom. "What made you think you could leave your bed so soon??" he asked, more concerned for the boy's health than angry. Demon. Each word spoken into his mind may as well be another lick of the whip.

Helena nodded, picking up a basket of bread and some butter. "It sounded like he might be finishing, so maybe he's done for now?"
Akito spluttered as Kuro picked him up. "I didn't mean to break anything, and I'm really sorry if that vase was precious! But you left and I wanted to know what I did wrong, and I didn't know where you went. I-I-I'm sorry if my liking you is what's scaring you, and I-I know you're just helping me get better, even though I was an idiot and that b*****d knew I was stupid, which I am..." He finally took a breath and started sobbing. "I'm sorry Kuro!"

Meme nodded. "I will go ask him then." he said softly, exiting the kitchen and making his way to Rufus' room, seeing the broken vase on the floor but he assumed Kuro would pick it up once he was finished with Akito. He knocked on Rufus' bedroom softly before entering but the man appeared to asleep. "Rufus? Are you awake?" he said softly so as not to startle his husband.

Kuro tried to speak while Akito was rambling, but the boy wouldn't breathe for a whole thirty seconds. There were only a few select ways to get Akito to listen but many of them were unorthodox. Slapping the boy would just leave him afraid, yelling would only enhance Akito's belief that he did something wrong. Kuro sat at the edge of Akito's bed and reached to the back of the boy's head. He forced the boy's upper body forward and met Akito's lips with his own, kissing him softly. I knew it wouldn't be long. You're no different than the tyrant. After a moment or two Kuro broke the kiss and tried his best to ignore the voice in his head. "You did nothing wrong. I'm not scared. And you are not stupid." he paused for a few moments. "If I hear you speak so low of yourself again......we will no longer be anything more than co-workers." he said softly, breaking his eye contact with Akito as he passed the threat along. "Now stay in here and welcome your guests. I don't want to see you out of this bed for the rest of the day." Kuro said, making his way back out of the room. He didn't want to be so harsh to the boy but it was for his own good.
Kuro made his way into the dining room where he saw Helena and the Akito's siblings sitting at the table. "Princess." he greeted before heading into the kitchen. "Have the boys been fed Cook?" He asked formally.

Rufus lifted his head and held out his arms. "I'm not asleep. Is everything alright?" He beckoned to Meme, wanting to hold him for a moment... before funeral and lunch arrangements had to be made.

Martha took one look at Kuro's expression and squelched the urge to demand to know what had happened. Instead, she nodded and handed him a mug full of coffee. "Drink this: you look tired. They are currently eating, Kuro. They'll be done soon."
Akito's sobs stopped the moment Kuro's hand cupped his head. He stared into the eyes he couldn't read, feeling the Butler's lips on his. He was shocked for a second, then relieved that he didn't repulse Kuro for some reason - the why didn't matter as long as Kuro kissed him. But he didn't get a chance to respond before he was released. Kuro's words barely registered and then he left.
So we're more than co-workers now? He wondered, determined to get better so he could go after Kuro when he left next time. Without smashing things. He blushed, recalling being in Kuro's arms as he was carried back to bed.

Meme nodded. "Everything is fine. A couple of Akito's siblings are here to visit him. They're having breakfast right now though." he said softly, sitting next to Rufus at the foot of his bed, unsure of their status in their relationship right now, whether they were still just holding each other or if they were going to cross their physical boundary.

Kuro gave a soft grumble, he knew Cook could see through him. "Tired....maybe that's all it is." he said softly, taking a large sip of the coffee but not feeling very much energized. Fool. You dare to defy me. You're pathetic. Kuro knew how hot the coffee was but he didn't care, at least the pain would be something different to complain about. "I'll let them finish their breakfast then." he said, taking a seat on a nearby stool.

Martha bustled around, placing various sweets and breads on a tray, along with soup that she covered carefully with a lid. Then she turned to him. "I think you should take this up to Akito and sit with him - his brothers are lovely, but... oh, he ate already." She grumbled under her breath. That ruined her plans, didn't it?
Still, she cleared her throat. "Does Rufus intend to come down for food anytime soon?"

Meme was a little confused. "N-no....why do you ask?" he said softly, enjoying the embrace of his husband, snuggling against him to get warmed up a little.

You should have taken his virginity by now. It's no use fighting it. Just give in. Kuro was about to mention that Akito had already eaten but she had already done that for him. You know how good it felt when I did it to you... Kuro heard her question but he was sick and tired of people talking to him. "I don't know!! Enough with the questions already!" he snapped, storming out of the kitchen and joining the boys and Helena in the dining room. "Is everything to your liking boys?" he asked softly, trying to cool his emotions.

Rufus kissed his forehead. "You just seemed... I don't know, there was a feeling, like we weren't in sync, if that makes sense?" He sighed. "Probably just nerves. Tomorrow I'm going for a picnic with the local Vicar and a journalist - I can't WAIT for that outing."

Julian and Liam nodded gratefully. "It's wonderful! We've never had so much food before!" Liam blurted, beaming... until Julian nudged him and scowled, shaking his head: Akito wouldn't want to tell everyone about that.
Julian stood and bowed. "Thank you for treating us so well, Mr. Suji. We're sorry if we've been any trouble, and thank you so much for taking care of our brother for us."

Meme blushed at the kiss to his forehead. "Sorry....I guess I'm just tired from everything. I'm ready to be rid of all this stress." he said softly, nuzzling his husband's chest, testing his boundaries to find out what his husband accepted. "I bet your picnic goes better than you think. I just hope they don't get too curious while they're here."

Kuro gave a small nod and bowed back to him. "You are very welcome, it's our pleasure." he said softly, ruffling Julian's hair a little. "He should be ready for guests when you two are done eating." Why so formal Kuro? You have two more potential mates in front of you.

Kuro gave a little grimace, he was afraid they would say that. "A-alright....I'll lead you there." He said softly, making his way to Akito's bedroom, knocking on his door gently. "Akito, your guests are here!" he called into the room. "Now remember you two, don't rough house with him." he warned, opening the door for the two boys to enter. Maybe they'll have a pillow fight together....three young boys in their underwear would be quite the sight. Kuro gave a small nod to Helena. "I'm sure you can handle supervising them. I have other things to tend to."

Rufus stared at the back of his head. "Meme, you're my husband and I like you. I know we don't know each other and that our wedding night was a non-event, but... I mean, if you were Helena and she'd arrived on time, she and I wouldn't be kissing other than in public because she's in love with someone else. I'd only kiss her to shut up her father and the gossips."
He shook his head. "It didn't help that, on the first day we were together, you practically jumped me to get to that letter."

Helena followed Julian and Liam, frowning as Kuro seemed nervous. The moment he opened the door, Liam darted past him, but Julian bowed and went in slower.
Akito jumped as Liam ran in, screaming his name at the top of his lungs. Automatically, he held his hands out to hug his brother... forgetting that it might hurt. But he held in a grunt of pain, cuddling his brother close. "Hey Liam..." he murmured.

Meme turned bright red at the return of that memory. "O-oh right.....when we were...." For some reason he couldn't bring himself to say the word 'naked', it was just too embarrassing to know that they were both naked at one point.

Kuro slowly walked back to the dining room, though halfway there he began to run there once he was out of Helena's sight. You always were a weakling. Kuro held his head in his hand and used the other to hold himself up above the table. "Stop it! You're not real!" He whispered a bit loudly. I am as real as those succulent boys in the spare bedroom. And eventually...you will give in. "No...I'll beat this!!" He said a little louder. We'll see about that....
