Scylock smiled a bit. "It's okay..." he said in accordance to her apology for falling on him. He walked behind her and wrapper his arms arouind her before they left and kissed her neck. He slowly started to walk, picking up a little pace as they walked and he continued to kiss her neck smiling. He was happy, but wasn't informed of which room they were going to. He decided not to ask and just let her lead the way.

Leigh had her dance shoes on, but didnt plan to do any dancing at all. She looked around the room and took a seat on the floor, near an empty corner.

Adrienne glanced up from backstage trying carefully as not to interrupt the many conversations which now littered the dance hall. A little too risque for my liking, she thought moving into a standing position and making her way towards the backstage door. Even though the dark haired girl would love to get away from Cassandra and speak to someone that wasn't half her size, or made of wood for that matter she didn't feel the need to make a grand apperance into the lives of the people there. The library was more of a suitable place to linger and she was in the mood for a bit of reading. Glancing over her shoulder at Cassandra she sighed and lifted the doll into the air. Pulling the squirming creature close to her cheast and running for the door, she managed to escape just in time before Cassandra began to scream. As Adrienne made her way to the outside world, the doll began to cry out for attention. " Put me down! I can walk put me down! ", she screetched kicking and biting at Adrienne's arms. Shaking her head slightly and letting out a small sigh she continued on her way towards the library, attempting to ignore the angry and rather rude doll in her grasp.

She sat down next to Shard and played a chord. It was higher than she would have liked it, since she was sitting on her right, but it was all right, nonetheless. "I wonder how long this has been here, though. It could be just brand new and we wouldn't even know.."
As Walter walked by the door and asked if they were just going to look pretty sitting there or do something. She turned at the scent of the vanilla and smiled, sticking her tongue out at him and heard Shard. "Actually.. about the same here. I could play a fair few tunes.. but about five years ago, I quit my lessons and got an electronic keyboard and then just stopped playing altogether.." she shrugged. "Except every time I'd walk past a piano at a friends house or if we went to the music store or something.. I'd always end up playing something."
As Shard began to play, she started to play softer on the higher side of the piano to not stick out. It was just the melody to Fur Elise, and not the lower part she would play with her left hand. Her parents had always teased her about the Elise at the end of the name of the piece, since her own was Amber Elise and all.. and for the fact that that had been the first piece she'd ever attempted to play. God, they'd NEVER let up on her for that. Probably never at least. Amber began to play the piece slower and looked at where Shard's fingers were at as she played and pressed the keys a bit faster as she pushed them down, copying the girls movements and started to play a higher version of what she was with a smile to Shard.

The melody began to slow and fade as the song ended...and Shard opened her eyes with a smile. "You're really good, for not having played for awhile!". She smirked as the girl gave Walter a razzberry and she continued her inspection of the piano, near the edge, she saw the faint inscription of someone's initial's but they weren't familiar to her. "I'd say it's been here for more then a year...judging that it was in the same condition as everything else.....". Scanning over the rest of the room, as if to confirm her analysis, her eyed fell on a harp that seemed out of place with everything else, it was gold and shiny, with no sign of use or dust on the surface. "Oh wow....pretty!" said Shard as she ran her fingers over the intricate scrollwork on the frame.

((Small post...Im sorry, its 6 AM and im a bit tired >.< )) Walter clapped as the young girl finished her piece. He smiled brightly and then spoke in a flattering tone. "That truely was wonderful music for you not playing for some time Miss!" Stepping into the room, he tucked his hands into his pockets, taking a drag from the cigarrette and placing it in the corner of his mouth using his tounge. He ran a finger over two of the ivory keys, rememebring when he used to play such an instrument. He looked at the young girl with a blush from the embarressment of his reminisence, and then noted the other playing with a harp. He could play one, but he said nothing of it. Fingering the elegant insturment gently, he smiled again, speaking to Shard in a soft and loving toone. "Can you play this? It'd be wonderful to hear if you could." He turned to finish looking around before she answers, seeming oblivious to the fact he'd just asked her a question. After a moment, he tripped over a fallen over music stand, shoving his right hand out to catch hold of a nearby table as he hand went through a peice of paine glass, probably from where they were replacing a window (From Dante shooting it out). The glass shattered under his palm and he yelped not in pain, but surprise. Falling to his face soon after, he sighed, shaking his head as he stood, a rather large piece of glass jutting from his palm to almost his upper wrist. He simply looked at it for a moment, blood trickling down his white shirt, the thick red streak bleeding into the cloth and seeming to grow lie a viral outbreak of some crimson strand of sisease. He shook his head against, pulling the glass out slowly and tossing it aside, it shattering as it hit the ground. He spoke, only two words that fell from his lips like a one-winged angel or other creature. "Oh dear..." He didn't seem in pain or in denial...just in shock. He spoke after a moment of watching the blood hit the ground in a soft drip. Blood....I haven't seen my own in quite some time..."

Shard seemed transfixed with the beauty and mystery of this harp, which was in perfect condition unlike everything else. Her fixation was broken when she heard a yelp from Walter, she spun around and looked at him in horror. "Ah, are you okay!?!". She rused over and tore off a bit of her sleeve to wrap around his wound, the glass had made a clean cut, and none remained in his hand. Sighing, she took his other hand and pulled both of them upwards, "I should take you too the infirmiry....I'm afraid I'm not the best doctor....saving lives was neever my strong point...taking them was" she paused when she realized she had been holding his hand for a good five minutes and that the two of them stood very close together. Her face deepend three shades of red, as her mind said to runaway, but her feet wouldn't move.

Amber continued to sit at the piano and gently scooted herself into the middle of the wooden stool and placed her hands on the table, playing a soft tune that she'd made up last time she was sitting down at the piano. It was composed of repeating two note chords that were always two notes apart from each other and with no sharps or flats. She was about finished with the simple half "chorus" (as she'd dubbed it) repeat, and playing a bunch of single notes, when suddenly Walter yelped out and she pressed her hands firmly against piano keys she she stood up with wide eyes.
Blood. Oh she hated the blood.. But what had it come- Oh. She watched as he threw the suddenly shimmering piece of glass against the wall and it shattered. Her gaze lingered a moment longer on the glass before she looked back at him, holding her own hand now as she looked at the blood. Then she looked down at her left hand, the red catching her eye and her eyes widened a bit again.
The tattoo was a darker red now..
She shook her head and looked back to Walter and Shard again. "... I know a bit of first aid.. there has to be a first aid kit around here somewhere." Amber nodded slowly, walking towards them. "If the infirmary doesn't sound like a good idea, that is.."

Walter shook his head, pulling his hand away from Shard nonchalantly as he blushed, his afce bright red as he felt faint a bit, his blood leaving his hand then filling his face. He sighed, shaking his head as he smiled, laughing nervously as he cupped his injured hand, hiding it from the world as he spoke in a hurried tone. Don't be alarmed...I'll be fine. 'Tis a simple scratch...nothing more. They could tell he was lying, he'd never been good at it before. Tucking his hand into his pocket, he rolled the bloodied sleeve up half way to mask it the blood with clean cotton. Fingering his hair from his face as he light another cigarrette, his eyes shimmered down to his blood on the floor, trying hard not to look at it directly and failing horribly. He watched it, and so could the others if they had noticed. That the blood slowly hardened, fading in color to a marroon, then to a grey as it craked and slowly dissapated....like ash. He took a violent step forwrad suddenly, stepping on where his blood was as he laughed again, speaking in another generous and wholesome tone. Thank you all very kindly for your hospitality!"

"You're a terrible liar.." Nikki mumbled, still leaning on the door frame to the room watching the small group for quite some time. Her head tilted a littl in curiosity as her arms lay folded beneath her chest. She didn't like the sight of blood at all but couldn't really do anything about it for she did not know enough.. Plus the other girls had already done a little to help him.
Nikki could tell he was hiding something and so lowered her eyes to where he had stood, noticing nothing there, she frowned remembering the blood that spilled. There was no trace of it. She lifted her eyes again to him questioningly but didn't ask alloud due to he seemed a little uneasy.

She frowned, folding her arms. "Walter, you have to be kidding me." Amber shook her head slowly. "'A simple scratch'? That glass went in pretty deep and basically from where your fingers start and where your hand ends. That.." she took a step forward. "Is not a scratch."
As he looked down at the blood, so did she for a brief moment, seeing it turn grey and break.. When he took a step forward, her gaze jerked back up and she decided to ask about what was up with his blood later. But it had just disappeared practically... and then she told herself to let it go again.
"At least let me wrap it for you.." she sighed. "And maybe some Neosporin or alcohol. I don't care about the fact that to you it might be just a simple scratch, but I'd just rather make sure it's bandaged so I can sleep better knowing you aren't going to get sick or something because you left your 'cut' untreated." It was obvious she wasn't going to let this go.

"I have to agree with her Walter....that more then the run-of-the-mill scratch...it cut through your whole palm for heavens sake!" her eyes sparkled with fear and a tinge of worry for the man. She eyed the puddle of blood on the floor and was puzzled when it suddenly turned to ash....like firewood. She eyed Walter suspiously, and even more so when he tried to cover the mess. "Walter......is.....something wrong? You seem....flustered" she tilted her head to the side and looked from him back down to the floor with a puzzled expression on her face.

Olive entered the vacant dance hall. "Good, no one's here," she whispered. She scanned the room, looking for a boom box or stereo. She found a dusty stereo and brought out her "Flapper!" CD. She blew off some dust and popped the CD into the stereo. The CD set on song number one, she positioned herself in the middle of the room and began dancing and singing as the words started; softly at first, but growing louder as she gained confidence in knowing no one would come by.
"Roll out the mat, let out the cat. Strike up the band, throw off your hat. Have a hotsy, totsy ride through the twenties, Happy days are here again!"
