Lucky her, as she was walking toward the exit of Balamb earlier, she discovered an old friend visiting the gates, and attempting to get in. That friend was big, feathery and golden colored. Crystal, her chocobo. It must have followed her scent here. From there, before leaving she searched Balamb to find her friend Ein, with no luck. So, after running into Rinoa, she asked her to tell her where she would be, if she wanted to visit. From there she left to the forest to her home. It was always so forgotten, but Teresa had always came back. She wasn't about to let her cute home be destroyed should anyone find their way here with ill intentions--as if she could really protect it herself.

Now, she was in her bed, laying at her side with a pillow clutched close. She seemed to be staring at two pictures at her night stand, one of her family, and the other, Ventus and her. Yes, such a picture existed. All the way back from the ball of Balamb Garden so many years ago. The time they danced together...It was the only picture she had of him.

Reaching a hand out,Teresa gently picked up the picture, holding it closer to her. "Why haven't you come back... ? " She asked softly, she had some silly hope that the same miracle that brought Aerith, Zack and Lucrecia back to life, would happen to him...but it didn't seem to...."It's been so long....I miss you,Venny.."

Her sound sleep suddenly came to it's end by the sound of shattering glass, and next, a crash of thunder. Soon following more lightning strikes to illuminate the entire house in the darkness while she could hear the heavy rainfall on the house and outside. Of all times, why did a thunderstorm have to come now? At night! In the dark.....She was asleep so soundly until this.She was just lucky the picture she had been cuddling as she slept didn't fall and break next.

After setting it back down, Teresa's eyes came to focus on the open door of her room, the flashes of each lightning bolt in the sky continuing to light up area's of the house and her room. Giving just about EVERYTHING the most frightening appearance possible. To the corner, past her door she could swear there was a shadow of a person illuminating with each light to brighten the house. All the while she couldn't forget the sound of glass breaking somewhere in the kitchen or living room. "......!? " Again, another bolt struck, giving yet another strange eerie shadow the look of something living standing there. Poor Teresa. She hated to be alone in thunderstorms, especially at night like this. THIS was the reason. Everything scared her! She couldn't seem to move enough to close the door, or even go inspect the house for any intruders. Nope, instead...she could only manage to dive under her covers to cower under them and hope not to be stabbed to death as she waited out this storm.............

The padding of wet boots could be heard throughout the small home, as a certain blonde heroine made her way through the house. The slightly ajar door to Teresa's room would be pushed open, as Ein pushed it forward and stepped inside. Here Teresa was, though she might be a bit freaked out by her sudden appearance. "...The astral showers fall heavily upon my wayward blade..." Ein said, her body and clothing wet from walking through the rain.
"I meant not to intrude into your humble abode, however my mind grew concerned for your safety. ...You're pretty helpless by yourself." That last part wasn't exactly in character. "You take shelter in solitude. There must be someone to safeguard someone such as yourself." Princess/demon/Serenitian=big target, or at least, Ein saw it that way. "I... I was worried." She said earnestly. "You shouldn't go off by yourself. You can't fight..." She said seriously. Her eyes held a look of concern as she spoke.
