I have noticed that My companion as a tamer has 1/2 of the chakra i have available. Therefore by that logic he does use it. Can he indeed help my character in collaboration jutsu? Or better yet can i use Koshi to cast genjutsu as well?

I have a question about Hyouton jutsu.
For the basic; Hyouton Ice Release it states that it takes ten posts to learn. However, there are three ranks involved. Does it mean that it takes ten posts to learn just the D rank?
Please help with this! D:

I have heard that you can train jutsu past learning them, to increase their strength in rank past what they started at but without increasing the chakra cost. Could someone please explain this further for me?

Mog: We discontinued this, because it was stupidly OP. Anyone with a lot of time could just turn an E-ranked jutsu into an S+ ranked jutsu, and yeah.
Memoir: Uhm... No. I think that it only means you have to learn it once, it's the chakra cost that increases with those ranks. Like X amount would cost a D-ranked amount, and another X amount would cost C-ranked amount.
Holy: Your companion can indeed be used for collaboration, but only if s/he has enough chakra to perform the technique in question. And I don't know if an animal can use genjutsu...

After Mogaar's question..Does this continue over to chakra training as well? I see there are types of chakra training we can do during each rank that we can do so many times to raise the amount of chakra our characters have. Do you not allow this anymore either or is this something still allowed?

I know I should have asked this question the very second I created my character, but is it too late for me to have him give up an entire element to learn the same amount of Genjutsu that he would have learned for said element?

Yes its to late. That is something you must do at character creation.

I haven't even started learning his elements to any great extent yet, so technically it would be as if I had that privilege before anything happened. >.>

Before you freak let me explain why. If I give you an exception then I have to be fair and give everyone else one as well and thats just no something that can happen. You have to look at it from my point of view.
