Demi rushes into the classroom.
Sorry I'm late!
She notices the other first years casting Flipendo on dummies and watched as they were cast aside by the spell.
My turn...
She turned to the closest free dummy and tried the spell herself. The figure flew a few meters and fell to the floor.
Great!

The pillows exploded, and feathers filled the air...

Ciara had made the decision that it was time for her to take the initiative and her education into her own hands. She bypassed the first and second year spell for the more advanced option. She looked at the pillow and narrowed her eyes, as if the delicate cushion we the cause of all her woes.
"Reducto!"
The pillow exploded, coating the floor with a light dusting of feathers, growing denser as more of the plumage once contained within the pillow wafted harmlessly to the ground.

I'm not sure Daemond.. I've never heard anything about crystals increasing wand power.
It's alright if you're a bit late, Demi! And well done! 10 points to Ravenclaw for performing your spell! Well done also to Cloud and Ciara! 10 points to Slytherin and Gryffindor! You may come outside after class with the others who will be trying to blast rocks.

 The spell sounded simple enough.. well maybe not simple but. Ghaleon braced himself and stood near the suits of armor, finding the one he liked the most... not that they had really been all that different from one another.
Feeling a bit tense as he always did before casting a spell for the first time. Pointing his wand forward and speaking clearly but perhaps not very loudly "Flipendo"
Though the spell did cast it didn't have much push to it and the suit of armor merely wobbled for a moment. Muttering to himself about needing to be more confident in his spell casting abilities.
Taking a few deep breath and trying to loosen himself a bit, he again spoke in a higher tone "Flipendo!" This time the armor was clearly knocked back a bit.
Happy but not entirely content with the work he practiced in earnest for as long as the lesson would allow.

Aludra Yvette... Aludra walked into the classroom, not having seen it for awhile. She went directly to her seat and squinted up at the board to try to read what they were doing that day. "Perfect, Stupify." she grinned. ...6th Year Slytherin

Following Aludra into the class room, I saw flash's of red, and feathers flying everywhere. Today was going to be a good day. Heading over to my desk, I noticed on the blackboard that the upper class was practicing 'Stupify' today.
Heading over to the back of the room with the armor statues. Pulling out my wand I pictured Vlad's face on one of the statues."STUPIFY!"I shouted. It was like a cannon going off, the blast hit the statue with such force that it propelled the statue though the air and slammed into the far wall, shattering the statue and leaving cracks in the wall where it hit.

Fire walks to the statue and takes out her wand.
"Flipendo!"
The statue did not move.
"Come on Fire, you can do it! concentrate and focus!" The girl says to herself. She then tries again.
"Flipendo!"
This time, the statue did move. It wobbles and suddenly,
"CRASH!"
the statue hits the wall.

Aludra Yvette... Aludra blinked over in Kenneth's direction, a shocked look on her face. The statue was completely destoryed and the wall it had hit was cracked with tiny peices of stone falling to the floor. She would feel sorry for anyone on the recieving end of that spell... even if it was Vladimir.
She went over to some of the statues at the back of the room and looked around at them. Each one was different in the face. Aludra picked out the one that looked the most angry and pointed her wand at it, grinning alightly. "Stupify." she said, her voice slightly cruel. The statue shot backwards and hit head first against the wall, yet not as hard as some of the others. Aludra shrugged, not worried about weither it was too weak or not, she knew that she could do much more difficult spells, some she would never admit to. ...6th Year Slytherin

Well done class! 10 points to Kenneth, Fire and Azula for performing your spells! And anyone else, from the third to the seventh years, who wish to try and blast rocks can come with the rest of the group. Alright class! Outside we go! *I lead the way trought the castle and outside to a clear area away from the castle where a few rocks are lined up on the ground* Alright! Who wishes to be first to blast thieir rock?

She pulled out her wand, and stared intently at the rock. She knew just who to imagine the rock as.
REDUCTO!!!
The rock exploded with a sound like a cannon...

Pulling out my watch to check the time, I see that it's nearly time for the first task to start. Better get ready I say to myself. Walking over to Aludra I give her a quick kiss on the lips and said,"I need to go get ready for the first task, get dressed, and head down the Great Hall for something to eat."With another kiss I said,"wish me luck"before releasing Aludra and heading toward the door.
