Further within the maze Yaya came upon her favorite inhabitant of the maze. The mammoth not-a-boulder. So far she'd been able to regal him with stories and riddles and been allowed passage on every attempted, so it was mystery why her confidence was up as she approached him..it?
'Hello there!" She called up to it. Expecting a response, but getting.. nothing. Frowning, she tried again, and was yet again ignored.
Frowning further, she stepped closer, and it was then she saw the length of dark cord resting against it's side leading up to a pair of really really big head phones.
"Well that is just very inconvenient.." With a sigh the ghoul turned, heading back out of the maze.

Alwine just HAD to make it to class this time. She didn't want to miss learning about the new and interesting creatures again... she was certain that the Professor had to be inside that maze.

"So you aren't Professor Byrn, then..." Alwine victoriously held the splinter in one of her bandaged hands and watched the imp shake its head. "I'm sorry for causing you so much trouble! I guess I'd better go in farther..."
So Alwine tossed the splinter aside and headed onward. When she was out of view, the imp toddled over and picked up the splinter, shoving it back into his foot for the next visitor.

"... And that's why my younger sister is terrified of mannequins!"
The boulder seemed to let out a shudder, if a boulder really could.
"Our older sister can be very vicious. It's not fun to get on her bad side at all! Now, could you please let me through? For my little sister's sake?"
Though it didn't really care about Alwine or either of her sisters, the boulder moved aside and let the haunt continue on.

As a headless haunt, the neck is one of the most sensitive spots on Alwine's body. Thus, when rustling leaves hit the back of her neck, the ghoul couldn't help but shudder.
She turned around and saw a flash of white-- or was it red? It might've been both for all she could tell, and she didn't want to stay to see the details. She ran closer to the center of the maze.

She really should've chosen to stop at the boulder, or at least let that strange thing she might-have-or-might-not-have seen chase her out... because her shrieks were rather embarrassing as she was chased out of the maze by Jack-could-only-tell.

This time, the imps remained out of sight as the wrath demon passed through, but their strike notification was nowhere to be seen.
No barbed wire? West scoffed and continued on.

The rock monster sprawled across all of the paths that led further into the maze. West stared at it for about twenty minutes before his impatience got the better of him.
"Y'gonna move? Igotta buncha stories."
"NO" it replied. "NEVER MOVE AGAIN"
All righty then. "Nice knowin'ya." West turned and left the maze.

As Astra walked into the maze for her latest attempt, she was nearly knocked over by the imp, whom today felt like he wanted to try bite.
She had then got some good practice in using her staff like a bat.

Continuously coming up with new riddles was hard, and it took her a few minutes to think up a good enough riddle to use on the rock guard.But he seemed to like it, so she was allowed to continue to the next part of the maze

This time around, astra decided to employ a different tactic in getting through to the lazy part. Instead of being overly fast, she moved around the edge of the maze, trying not to draw any attention to herself.
With a sudden howl however, the creature announced it's presence, and she was forced to fly into the next maze before the thing could track her down

"Okay..." Astra approached the bucket with scareon balls in it "I swear, if that horse thing tries to charge me again..."
She didn't even get a chance to finish, since said horse thing reared up behind her.
She didn't even get a chance to try grab one of the scareon balls....

Jericho headed on to the maze, ready to take it on. However, he received a call on the skellyphone.
"Hello? Yeah Mom? Ye-yeah, I'm a little busy right now. Yes, Mom I've been eating fine. Don't worry about it. Mom? Come on, I have to go to class. It's a maze. No, the maze is the class. I don't know, just... Yes I've been doing my homework! I don't know yet, I've only been here for a few weeks. N-- graaah. Fine. Hey Dad. Yes, ever thing is fine. Yes, don't worry. No I have not. Look, I appreciate the call but I'm in the middle of something here."
The call continued on for a little while in which the dragon just gave up to try and tackle the maze another day.

Another day, another trip to the maze. West approached the spot where the little green interchangeable imp always stood, but today, yet again, the spot was empty. A trampled flyer nearby mentioned something about imp casting, but if there was more to it, West certainly wasn't sticking around to read it. He shoved his hands into his pockets and left the maze. Oh well.

Here he was back again to the maze and hoping he'd get further than he had last time. He had gotten so close... least he had thought so. So he had no problems with trying again and coming up to the imp, he stopped and helped it again... or was this a different one? Ah.. he couldn't tell >>;;
