Teinama sighed. "I'm not looking to fight fire with fire." There was no point though, everyone around him seemed to understand. He turned to Karn. "I'll be taking them myself. He stepped closer, slowly but surely, and placed a hand on the man's forehead. "We still have a bargain though. If you stay true to your word, I will stay true to mine." With that, he initiated the drain and felt the man's power immediately surging into his hand before it spread all throughout his body.
Chikanno was silent as he watched the scene continue to unfold. When he knew Teinama had a handle on it however, he figured it would be best if he made preparations to return home. He turned to his daughters, and surprisingly not his son as well, and sighed. "Your mother's alone with the baby, I should really be going. I trust my children can give any assistance where it is needed here."
Max bowed her head respectfully and replied with a meaningful, "Of course, Father."
Ariasana, on the other hand, shrugged and answered, "Sure."
Before Chikanno had fully turned away to leave he turned to Afsana. "Your Majesty, here's where I would give you advice, if I thought you needed any, but I don't." He smiled, "Although, do avoid too much contact with the destructive duo." He glanced to where Yuli and Tiranna had been, but they had clearly escaped. He sighed, "Either way, I have faith in you." He turned to Teinama. "You too."
Teinama waved a hand dismissively to send the other man off. "Go away now, Chi, we can handle it."
The man just laughed, lowered his head then continued into a full bow before he vanished and simply reappeared at him own home.
Afsana simply turned to face the woman beside her. "So, this is all pretty normal for the family I take it?" She scoffed and shook her head, clearly not looking for an actual answer. "I hope he's not right though, I hope the next generation is more forgiving than we are, because our personal vendettas made us this way."
---
Codi gave the paper covered tobacco a skeptical look as he thanked the man, took it anyhow, and pulled out a more familiar pipe to empty the plant into. Lucky for him he could create a spark from nothing to light the pipe, and of course did so. He took a long drag before he gave a long sideways glance to Paha's daughter who was clearly hinting something over there. "Sounds like you need a hobby." He sighed and glanced down himself at Patilla on the floor, "You think he'll be alright, healer?"
---
"It went something like that." Ackitahr replied with a quick sigh. "But, this whole mess, this is way out of our league, all of us. It's something I hope we never have to deal with again. Unfortunately I know, our being ill prepared means that from now on, we'll have to be ready to face a threat like this again, even though none of us will really ever stand a chance..." He trailed off for a moment before he shook his head and managed a smile. "I'm sorry, that's for another time." He nodded back toward the town, "We should go back. I'm sure there's a lot of damage we get to fix."

Leonardo snarled after Nexus "Silly words from such a weak creature." Not that he cared what the man thought. He didn't trust him. "He'll be causing problems in the future. I can tell."
"I would offer to keep an eye on him." Leonidas said with a sigh "But alas I don't have one to spare!" And he began to laugh at his own joke not caring about what all was going on.
Chala rolled his eyes at the man who was his grandfather. Who'd of thought this seemingly carefree man could be even a bit relatedness to his tight a** dad "I can keep track of him father."
"No don't bother, he's not worth the stress." Leonardo said shaking out his arms and sheathing his sword.
Leonidas stepped up to the human king and his well, woman. "I'm sure if you are there to school them they will grow up right. A ruler such as you doesn't come around every day, nor dose the friends you have gathered. I have nothing but faith in the future of this land." ~ ~ ~ ~
"Hobbies are for people who can't get what they want. And I always get what I want." She said eying Codi like she might devour him whole. "And baby I want you."
"Not that isn't at all creepy Skyden." He sighed and moved on to more pressing matters. Abarden frowned he was more then worried about Patilla. He was healed, he should be waking. "I don't know. His injuries are all healed." Abarden moved to kneel beside the teen in question. He checked his pulse and was relieved to feel a beat. ~ ~ ~ ~
Kadra slid quickly from the dragon's back "Thank you Adunafor!" She said reaching up and pulling his snout down to give him a peck on the cheek. Checking Attorra again Kadra ran into the palace gates. She had to find help. She was covered in Attorr's blood, surely not to be a good sign on how the man was fairing. "Afsana! Leo!" She called spotting the two of them first out of the group. ~ ~ ~ ~
Telmina quickly embraced the younger dragon. "I was worried for you!" She said pulling her in close, the small dragon was like a younger sister to her. Still huddling her close Telmina nodded "She deserves nothing but the truth." ~ ~ ~ ~
Maeve smiled lightly, and oh so slowly reached out to take the larger man's hand. It was amusing to her, just how much larger his hands were compared to hers. It was a possibility he could hold both of hers in one of his. "All that matters is everyone is safe! Everything else can be rebuilt, and fixed. A lost life can never be replaced. A broken body is harder fixed then some old building."
