Startle he looked at Marie and then at Icarus who announced the bear wolf. He was... extremely frightening and all the hairs on her back bristled as well as her tail. Although everyone was welcoming him she was terrified and her reaction was this. Looking to Marie for comfort she hid behind the other. She whimpered, but then something caught her eye. The purple furred femme was wandering about, confused. "Look! Another pup!" The bear wolf forgotten her tail wagged.

Dekel paused in his walking, white ears flicking up in curiosity at the sound of other wolves nearby. He lifted his nose up, sniffing at the scents they were coming from, before his tail wagged in recognition. There were a few new ones, but for the most part, it was Icarus' pack.
Whining, the adolescent wondered how everyone was doing. He had wandered off a while ago, and in the process, had grown since he had last seen them. Where he was once a small pup, he was now in that middle ground between a child and an adult.
Nodding to himself, the wolf sprinted forward, heading in their direction. It was about time he headed back... well, he couldn't quite call it home, but it was close enough. As he came close to exiting the brush and into the clearing, he slowed to a trot and padded out into the open. A dark form slipped silently through the trees, body low to the ground, and if it weren't for his bright, almost glowing markings, the pup likely would not have been noticeable at all. Luminescent eyes stayed locked in front of him, half-lidded and seemingly uninterested in the birds chirping above him or the sounds of other wolves collected nearby. Briefly, one ear cocked towards the noise, before it flicked and continued pointing forward like the rest of his body.
He considered heading towards them, juggling the pros and cons of doing so. He was not the most social of pups, quite the opposite, in fact. His name was Asmodeus, a rather large-boned child who, if not for his age, would likely have been a lone wolf. He was wholly uninterested in interacting with his peers, seeing them as childish, stupid and unworthy of his attentions, but recently he had come across a problem. As much as he despised others, he didn't have any hunting skills, and one can only last so long in the wild without them.
So, with an aggravated sigh, Mody slid to a stop and glared balefully towards whatever pack had taken residence nearby. His eyelid twitched as the sound of other pups drifted towards. 'Even worse,' he thought to himself, scoffing. 'Well,' he supposed, 'I may as well get it over with.'
A sneer developing on his face, he turned and began walking towards them, making sure to keep to the shadows in the hopes of observing them before he could be seen and, god forbid, approached.

Blue eyes swept the landscape, on the hunt. But his prey wasn't rabbits or deer. His prey...was females. He lifted his nose to the air, moistening it with his tongue, and inhaled deeply. He could smell wolves around, but there were many smells all mixed together. Separating males and females would be impossible at his distance. He swished his tail, and shifted his weight to his back feet, hunching back ever so slightly. He took a breath, a low, somber howl filling the air. He sang, until the need to seduce women made his legs move, and he was galloping towards where he could smell the large pack of wolves. There were bound to be untended women there. And there he would go. In no time, as Osiris thought of pick up lines that were ...questionable at best, he peered around a tree to find wolves, all over. Ah, there so many... Would he be welcome? He sure hoped so, there was no way he was leaving without a fight. Noticed, or not to be noticed. Osiris decided he didn't particularly care, and slowly and carefully wandered among the wolves.

At the sound of a female's voice calling she had been spotted she perked her ears the smiled. Trotting forward she flashed into the clearing in a tumble of purple fur as she sat and grinned, wagging her tail. "Hiya!" Acting playful was easy. Tricks came after trust was made.
As she gazed at the oddly shaped, and oddly colored wolves she had to force herself not to laugh. Her ears perked forward at the song of another wolf not far away. It was lonely but also calling.

Marie stood staring up at the huge bear like wolf. She remained between Liliana and the large beast. A small tremor ran through her as she stood bravely before her frightened friend. She was shocked the male was so...huge. She heard Liliana's attention shift as she spoke and she turned her head to look at the female. She was quiet for a moment as she took in the pups appearance. "Go ahead and Make friends Lilly. I want to practice the trick Tiki showed me, okay?" with that said, the small pup wandered a little ways away, keeping her attention on the two females while she scooted away. One friend at a time was all she could really take. For her age she was unnaturally small, as the bear was huge.
She passed by the cautious adult male and she smiled kindly as she passed. "They won't attack you. They usually are really friendly. Some overly so. Loosen up or you'll spook someone." and she continued past Osiris. She saw Dekel come back and realized that the male was older than her and Lilly by more than a little. He was bigger now, to her surprise. She nodded at him and walked past him as well. Her long waving fur shimmered when a breeze blew past her, causing her head to turn slowly. She saw the bright colors and she realized another pup was in the brush. The scent carried to her was Male, but she was sure if he wanted to talk, he'd come out.
She walked past him in his hiding place and made her way into a patch of light, sitting in the soft grass she looked up and released a long, slow whistle and down came a small, curious sparrow. She smiled when the bird landed in front of her, then with a flick of her tail it flew away. She whistled a little louder this time in short intervals and yet another songbird came in reply. She was surprised this worked so well. She reminded herself to thank Tiki for this skill next she saw her.

Kora smiled as 'Dragos dismissed himself to talk with the newly reappeared Faiyrn. It was good to know her adoptive parents were so close, and wondered what exactly Icarus and Faiyrn had been talking about. Walking back into the clearing, she wondered if Icarus was considering making Faiyrn his adviser. I was a possiblity- she was well-liked, older than him, and sought out for advise on occasion.
It was then that she saw the bear-wolf. She wanted to attack on sight at first, until she realized he was a wolf. At first she would have, too, except for all the other wolves around him.

Icarus watched his pack for a few moments, gauging their reaction. Most didn't show too much surprise, though some looked slightly shocked by the size of the wolf. From the corner of his pale-blue eyes he noted that Fairyn had left for the meeting they had planned by Lake Lux. While it pained him to keep this meeting a secret from his pack, he knew it was necessary for their benefit.
He had turned around and was just about to pad into the forest when he saw Kora's reaction. It surprised him that now one would react in such a manner. Icarus cast his gaze to the bearwolf once more and hoped for the best. He knew that tensions were high between his pack members. This was the entire point of going to meet Faiyrn for their discussion. For a moment, he let out a sigh. Then he stole into the forest towards the Lake, realizing he was already late.

His eyes roved the pack and their reactions, great nose sniffing wetly at the air around him and the wolves in plenty. He saw nothing he hadn't expected to see. To his right, a pretty young lass that smelled faintly of his snake-pelted pupil bristled at him, then calmed when Sjun assumed she realized that he was a wolf. At his paws, pups' eyes widened and backs bristled in fear. This pained Sjunheal the most, he realized: seeing those small eyes so frightened of him.
The bearwolf shook the thoughts away like water, shaking his shaggy head vigorously, before turning to Clio. He pressed a bit further into the clearing, and made sure he was a little closer to her before he sat down. He stretched out his paws until all of his bulk lay beside her, and smiled.
"Forgive me, m'gel; I'm tired. Was on my feet awhile before I stumbled across yon small Alpha whelp." His smile belied the gruff words. Surely was he delighted to be in the company of a familiar muzzle again! "Tell me, Clio. What became of you, after ye' an' the pack parted?"

Dekel smiled and nodded back at the pup as they passed each other. It was strange; he could remember being only a bit bigger than her and the other female pup. Apparently he had a larger growth spurt than he'd thought.
Blinking away his thoughts, he sat down nearby the group and cocked his head to the side curiously, watching and listening to the conversations around him. The small pup stared at the group as they came into view, eyes assessing each of them as he passed them. A few pups - deemed unimportant - a sprinkling of adolescents, and many adults. For most, he only briefly observed them before moving on, although there were a few, such as the bear-like one, that he gave a sort of low growl at the back of his throat.
Then, Asmodeus paused, freezing up a smidgen when one of the female pups walked by. He could tell that she knew he was there, yet surprisingly she hadn't reacted as others would have - immediately investigate who he was. Tail flicking once in the air, he watched as she settled down on the grass and began making these odd whistling sounds.
Mody frowned to himself, wondering what she could possibly be doing and feeling mildly annoyed at the strange noises she was making. However, bright eyes widened as a little bird actually landed in front of her, and soon he realized that those whistles were calling the birds to her.
Shaking himself, he huffed and slide over into a closer bush, making sure to keep hidden in the shadowy brush for the time being. A neutral expression plastered on his face, he muttered out in a slightly gruff voice, "What on earth are you doing?"

"It's a form of hunting..." she said softly, watching the bird dance around her and gazing at her curiously, head tipping this way and that as it's tiny black eyes focused on her. "A Flyer here taught me the skill." she added, her black lips barely parting as she spoke. She was calm, quiet and patient in her venture. "I've been... practicing... I apologize if I bothered you any." she said sincerely. She was a strange pup, small, laid back, soft spoken... very unlike the others in the pack.
She sat completely motionless, not a muscle moved. She watched as it turned it's back to her and she tensed and then in a quick swift movement she had it pinned beneath a paw. She whispered a thank you to the bird and closed her small jaws around it's neck and with a clench of the muscles, a crack was heard and the bird was dead. "It's effective, as you can see." she said, gazing at the bush she knew he now sat in. She turned back to the bird and picked it up, setting it down in front of the bush. "We could share, if you're hungry." she offered.

Hunting, huh? His lips pulled back a fraction of an inch, wondering how serenading birds could possibly help you hunt, but he slid back into a neutral look as he observed her pinning and killing her prey. Hmph, alright. He had to admit that it was effective. Slow-paced, but effective.
Suddenly, he froze as she offered the food to him, staring suspiciously at her. If he weren't so hungry, he would have turned her down flat, probably insulted her in the process, but as it was....
Habit was scolding him for even associating with her, but hunger and survival instinct eventually won him over. So, grudgingly, he slowly inched his way out of the brush. He paused to eye her contemplatively, nose sniffing at the bird as he did so, and then let out a grumbled, "Fine." Silently adding to himself that 'this is a one time thing', before settling himself next to her and her catch.

She paused for a moment and then realized, really, she wasn't all that hungry, and the bird wasn't that big. "You can have it." she said, standing and leaving him with the bird to curl up in the sunny patch of grass. She was so small that she got chilled easy. She was uneasy around wolves she didn't know, but not unkind, never unkind. She was quiet and her umber gaze slid away from the male to look at her paws.

Andragos had watched Fairyn go off into the woods headed for Lake Lux and then Icarus. Something was up. So as quietly as he could with Oghren he raced off, turtle gripping his fur as tight as he could, after the two. He wasn't going to be left out of this loop so easily, something was bugging both of them. Leaning his weight onto his pads only he was deadly silent and vanished without a sound into the forest, none the wiser. She watched the little purple wolf. "Who are you?" She asked and came up right next to her and plopped down. Her orange eyes watched this strange wolf. But it was who Marie was talking to who intrigued her and she watched. How she craved attention and yet shied away from it each time it was given. Then turning back to the pup at hand, "I'm Lilliana."

Clio was glad that Sjunheal had come her way. Though she knew eyes would follow him to her, she was still comfortable as always in the presence of her old teacher. She had missed the pain in his eyes from the sight of the pups, but she knew that something unsettled him. As she watched the massive bear wolf lay on the ground, she gave a light laugh. He wasn't scary, there's no way Sjunheal would appear to want to even hurt a bug. She too took a place on the ground beside him, glad to be able to talk to her old teacher in such a way.
"I don't mind it, Sjun." She said with a smile, ears perking as she heard that he had already met Icarus. For a moment she wondered if he had heard about A'cuil. "After the pack parted?" She said, becoming a bit sullen. The memories still stung a bit, being forced to stay by her old mate after he had chased the darkness with such enthusiasm. She bristled as the painful anger of the time lapped at her emotions. Then she caught herself and relaxed. "I did not stay long. The north is more for hunting in groups, so I took to the forests around here." Clio said easily, briefly glancing into the depths of the forest behind her. "Took some getting used to, but two months passed me by quickly here. That is until I found this gathering of wolves."

Zuri padded away from the rest of the wolves, bored. She wasnt the Alpha, or very important to the pack. They wouldnt miss her. She headed toward the sriver. She padded quietly down the river until she came to a pile of rocks, and jumped up to the perch. It was high up enough to see the clearing where the pack was, at least for the moment. Zuri went to jump down, when, suddenly she slipped. She tumbled into the water, paws flailing uselesly as she tried to get a hold of something to stop her from flowing off like A'cuil. She held her breath as the water drug her under, then she swam as best she could, able to just barely keep her head above the water.
