Suddenly my thought track was interrupted by a sweeping chill that wrapped around me. I knew it all to well as Forsaken's embrace.]

I let out a "Puhtah-!" in surprise.

[Before I could react, Forsaken spoke. His words shocked me. Going to come back...? I wondered. Hardly seemed like it...or maybe I'm just impatient.

I paused, pondering the possibility.

Oh darn. I was prolly too impatient.

I blinked, my cold eyes warming up into the soft brown they used to be (( no her eyes aren't changing color...>:C Her demeanor is. )) ]

"Oh dear," I sighed in a soft way, "I should've jus' been patient. It's jus'...it's hahd to tehll how lohng it's been. Tahm ((Time)) is too vast in that playsh...I cahn't tell if itsh been a moon or a dayh."

[I wiggled a bit in his grasp, shifting to fit better.]

"But I forgihve you, Fohshaken," I added, feeling ((and literally for the first time ever |D)) shy.

"Wrell anyhwaysh," I continued, suddenly bright and cheerful, "I need ta get back home, y'know? It'sh been fah too lawng."

[I paused.]

"Wait, how long hash it been?"

(( Purepaw can't tell how long it's been since she was gone. D| All she did was sit and wait. Waaait. Wait. Wait wait. It was boring and agonizin. :C ))

[Forsaken's creaked smile returned to where it belonged at the returned to the welcoming look it could find no were else but her eyes. relief sweeped over the demon, the fear that it had lost that look for all eternity was melting away. Her forgiveness felt to the demon as if it had been renewed. it snickered as she sifted shyly in it's cold embrace. the shift of her fur made it smile. the demon had longed to feel her soft pelt. without thinking the demon lowered its towering form to gently rub it's face on the top of her head, letting out a eerie, creepy, yet somehow soothing sound.(( yes, thats how it purrs >.< ))]

"it has been only 4 moon cycles. you were supposed to be healed in another 3." [the demon frown though, when she mentioned her returning home. Despite it watching its foe Blood fall into the endless darkness with it, it still feared that it would return. but even more so the demon somehow couldn't bring itself to let her go. the thought of keeping her captive crossed it's mind and made the demon smile sadistically but it knew it would never work the way it would want it to. it's glowing red eyes looked down on the little she cat. finally, the demon nodded.] "alright then... i will bring you home..."

[The demon turned to face it's honored apprentice, it's usual wicked smile on it's dark face.] "Slasher, i will return shortly, i promise. i will be interested to see how you use the 2 leg's tools." [Forsaken then wrapped it's long, dagger like fangs around Purepaw's small form. it lifted her off the ground and began to drifted off into the shadows, melting into the darkness.]

"Gee," I murmured in wonder, "no wonder Ih gwew so much! I though' I was ge'in fat..."

(( She is a bit chubbier, but she thought that she was really fat because of how much she's grown. xD She's still pretty small now. Despite the fact that she should be an early warrior, she looks like a mid-apprentice. o3o ))

[I nodded to him, excitement ruffling my fur. I would finally see my family-!

I glanced over to his apprentice, 'Slasher', with narrowed eyes. A mischevious grin spread across my face as Forsaken began to leave.]

"Don't think you're so bad," I said to him casually, "it's obvioush you have the hots for that lady-frien' of yoursh over there. Whatcha think abou' that, tough guy?"

[I couldn't take any "evil" cat seriously who still able to fall in love. Hah!

I felt Forsaken melt into the darkness and closed my eyes, waiting to smell the NightClan moorlands.]

[Forsaken morphed out of the darkness, its glowing red eyes filling the ally way with red light. it gave a sadistic grin to its apprentice in greeting,] "Hello Slasher, sorry to keep you waiting. I am a very busy cat. I appreciate your paciants. There is someone i would like you to meet." [Forsaken narrowed its eyes as it's smile widened.] time to test you young apprentice. i have noticed your distant of clan cats, that i understand well. but you cannot learn to build your power unless you are willing to give and take from them. [Forsaken turned its head in waiting for its partner to come. it eagerly swished its tail back and forth. it smiled when it saw Foxfire come forth from the bushes.]

"kekekeke Foxfire, i knew you would come. i have news on your progress of controlling the other clans. i have a spy in Breezeclan and can inform you that they have been losing warriors fast. it would seem that a similar recent has befallen the other clans as well. earlier on i have sensed a dispear that was destined to come upon the clans. hopefully with your natural cunning you can use this knowledge to your advantage. all the other clans are unaware of this and believe the misfortune is only upon them. careful though, this also spells doom upon your clan as well. kekekek it would seem they are in need of a savior. and if i remember correctly a hero is greatly respected and trusted, not much unlike a leader. kekekek"

[the demon then frowned however.] "unfortunately this is all i have at the moment. i have stopped receiving visions from my spy. i suspect something has happened to her. Pity, it will be difficult to find another like her. the last i saw was that she was in a fight with another cat."
