"I was kind of hoping they would jump at my throat. They could have been good exercise," she said as joke. "But I'm sorry about that door Professor. I guess my powers must be growing again and I wasn't focusing enough."

She smiled gently. Freya always liked to meet Xavier even though she didn't need his tutoring. She walked beside him as he asked her to come inside to talk. Being a psychic, he knew she wanted to talk about Wanda. Being linked with spirits, she knew that he knew. It was quite strange to see the pair going inside.

"Do you still have Wolverine around Professor? I'm sure he would like a revenge," she said with a grin.

((OOC: Oooo! Death threats!))

At the explosion of the gate deciding to vacate their hinges, and the sudden gaggle of mutants, the femora just rocked back on her heels and reflected unfazed.

'Trust? Eh, that was something I've don't without.'

Her mind thought crisply; the sharpness unheeded as she pondered the girl's words to her.

O....kay...why not? She would see what all this was about; maybe there was something in it for her.

Raine followed uncertainly at a half-distance away from the group, making certain that not a single attack or attempt on her life was threatened towards her. Her crimson optics narrowed; she sent a message through them to Katori, the beast catching it and going to pad at point.

So the man...this Xavier person...was in a wheel-chair? A crippled old fool leading a bunch of mutants mindlessly into destruction... Nice.

Raine had seen worse before...done worse before.

Not realizing that she was projecting her thoughts, the self-guarded mutant eyed the people around her. So unguarded...if she decided to turn on them; they probably wouldn't even expect it. She sighed over a huff, chiding herself for once again allowing herself to slip into her thoughts and pay less attention to her surroundings.

Who only knew what she was getting herself into next...

((OOC: Hm...I have an...idea. *smirks* Let's see...))

It took John ten minutes to get to the school. From there it was nothing but trouble. First; he had to get past the police and the other people, working on reconstructing the school. That alone took about fifthteen minutes. Then once he got in, he had to find the office. He wouldn't have had any trouble if the school wasn't burnt down, but after a while he came upon it and found, to his liking, that it hadn't been burned. Finally came the last part; finding the boys profile so that he could get the address. If he'd known the boys name it would've made things a lot easier, but he didn't so he had to do it the long way; go through each file and look at the picture it had of the kid the file belonged to, until he found the reache the guy he was looking for....which took about an hour. It's a good thing I took those cops out earlier, after all of this, I'd be to tired to do too much of anything, he thougth to himself, as he grabbed the file, and took off. Too tired from everything John desided he might as well head back home and join Noko in bed. Once he finally reached his from he entered only to have found that Noko had left. Not knowing what to do he happend in bed and focused his thoughts towards Noko, in hopes that she'd get the message. Hey Neko, I'm back home. Sorry I left, but I'm still mad about what happened to you at the school. I've done all that I can do for today so now I'm back home in the room. Where ever you are, I hope you'll be able to come back soon. I'm still worried about those cuts of yours and would like to know that your ok. After that he did the only thing he could do; sit down and wait.

"I didnt think you were one for sitting outside," he had heard someone say in his light slumber. Jacen opened one eye to see who it was and saw it was Noko.

"I guess then I'm not as easily pegged as one might think, eh?," he responded as he stretched a bit and yawned quietly. He did enjoy the time he had to himself, no doubt. It gave him a spot of reflection, which was always good. And, seeing as how he was a constant channel for hatred and fear, these peaceful moments were all the more worthwhile.
He looked up again at the young lady who was still standing, examining some cuts on her arms.

"Let me guess, you're going to the doc's, right?" She nodded signifying her intent to do just that. "I'll go with you as far as the doctor's, but....I've my own matter to attend to."

"Let me guess, family issues?," she asked out of curiousity. Jacen didn't answer at all. She knew she was right. She didn't even have to read his mind to find that answer. He didn't say a word as well when he took off towards said doctor's office. He thought he should probably go too, to check his back out, but he didn't want to right now. Besides, the sharp pains he felt every few minutes or when he did a sharp, sudden move, it kept him on his toes. It kept him angry...driven. Pain, for now, was to be his ally.

It was a quiet walk to the doc's office. It didn't take too much time, honestly. Even with the location of the Brotherhood's house, the doctor was about twenty minutes away. And, even though Noko wasn't exactly a full-fledged member of the Brotherhood, he had a feeling he'd see her later.

"See you back at the house," Jacen said over his shoulder as he kept on his way to his destination. Now, the next task for him. He needed to find Freya. He knew that she would be one of the only ones to confirm his story. "Maybe there's another...," he thought as he absently kept walking. As he walked, he thought back on some of the tales that Magneto would tell him of the great telepath, Charles Xavier. Magneto's greatest friend, and worst enemy. Maybe he could help. And when Jacen left for this town, he was given directions to Xavier's school, for whatever reason. Maybe it was because Magneto knew that if the world went to pot and the MRA went through, Xavier would reluctantly, but willingly, accept the Brotherhood's help.

And so, he walked for nearly forty-five minutes until he found himself at the tail end of a secluded driveway. It went back maybe a half mile, maybe less. He thought this had to be the place, so he soldiered ahead to find out exactly.

It wasn't even a half mile until Jacen saw a gated driveway, although the gate was suspiciously off of it's hinges. He noticed a bronze plate engraved with the school's name, which told him everything else he needed to know; he was where he needed to be. And so, he cautiously walked up past the destroyed gate, up the driveway, and to the front door, which was also opened.

When he got to the doorway, there was no one there. Odd, considering the door was cracked slightly. He knocked on the door. "Hello? Is anyone here?" The door creaked a bit as it moved slightly. Again, he knocked. "Hello??" The door finished opening up all the way, and there was no one in visual range of him.

Suddenly, he was taken aback. There was someone there, someone with quite possibly even more powerful feelings of negativity than he could imagine. "Gods...who IS that?," he said to himself as he could feel it all syphoning towards him. Then, as he was trying to stop his mind from spiraling out of control, he felt a furry hand on his shoulder.

"And what brings you to Xavier's Institute, Mister.....?," the blue furred man said rather eloquently.

"Um. Daniels. Jacen Daniels," Scion answered matter of factly. If someone was going to address him with respect, he would reciprocate said respect. "And I'm here to see the headmaster, Prof. Xavier, if I could please."

"I'm sorry, but he's a bit indisposed of," the man said as he motioned for Jacen to come in. "Sit down and relax for a minute, I shall let Charles know he has yet another guest at this time."

"Thank you Mister....?"

"McCoy."

Jacen knew who he was, but it was definitely best to feign ignorance right now. Especially sitting in the proverbial lion's den. And now, all he had to do was wait.

{Umm, Morgan's lying unconcious in one of the corridors. Just figured I'd remind. Which NPC students are currently being used at this moment? Because I need someone to find him, but I don't know who I can use without disrupting anyone else's continuity.}
