Melody was frozen against the wall with fear. The voices snickered and mocked with one another now. Then she realized, she didn't like to be pinned. When Tex said to hit him she was willing to do it. But then James came and did it, and then she was frightened again. The voices hushed and they sulked. She began to shake violently and she became so pale. "Th-thanks James..." She finally moved away from the wall, and moved in front of Tex. "I-I'm sorry... I forgot alright?" Melody looked down at the ground and fidgeted for awhile, sulking. But then a twisted smile appeared as she glared into his eyes. "And you are such a jerk!" she hissed at him and kicked him right in between his legs, then ran to the window and swung herself on the roof. The voices began to howl loudly with laughter. "Melody was the cutest one."

Tex stood there for a second as it finally registered in his head. "Thank you my sweetly evil tail," he smiled at his tail which slid next to him as it began to throb. "And thanks for injuring my tail!" he snapped out the window and then walking out of her room back towards his room. Would she want to get rid of him after he did that?

Melody chuckled and yelled back, "You're very welcome!" She curled up and looked at her giant garden. It had every kind of plant in it. It was pretty and the aroma of everything flew up to her. "Just keep talking to him. Let him help you." Melody scoffed and climbed to the edge of the roof, scowling at nothing. "Why would I want to talk to him? He was trying to kill me! How is that helping?" She jumped off the roof and rolled as she landed. Her legs hurt a bit but she ignored it, getting up and walking to the garden. "Good girl Melody! He's helping faster then we thought..." Melody rolled her eyes and sat down in the middle of some pink naked ladies.

Tex flopped down on his back on his bed and stared at the ceiling. If she wanted him to leave she would have to tell him to go. He didn't want to be rude and just disappear.

After sitting in the garden for awhile all the voices coaxed Melody to go talk to Tex. She ignored them as best she could, she was almost to the point that she was able to ignore them, but one faint, sweet voice came once again. "Melody, just go see him. Go say sorry. Tell him to not go." Her determination broke and she had to go. She slowly, forcefully walked back into the house and to Tex's room. She knocked on his door and waited. She really wasn't sure of what she was going to say or do either.

Melody looked down and turned a bright red. "I... I don't know... The voices just kept telling me to come see you..." She took a step back and hesitated, really unsure of what to do. She shook her head and looked up at Tex, shrugging. "I really don't know what they want me to do..." The voices stayed silent, almost like they weren't there, but she could still feel them. She really wanted them to say something but they didn't.

"Yea I heard them saying something but it sounded fuzzy so I have no clue what they said. . ." Tex sighed gesturing for her to enter the room. "Sit. Sheesh. . . You'd think I bite. . . I wasn't going to hurt you earlier. . . The most I do is eat souls of people by. . ." He stopped mid-sentence as he sat down on the floor in the middle of the room with the door still open.

Melody giggled as she entered the room. "I wouldn't mind if you ate my soul, but Mabel, my mother, and the voices would..." She sat down on the bed and pulled up her legs, wrapping her arms tightly around them. "If you weren't going to kill me earlier then what was with you then?"

Melody didn't quite hear, but she knew it wasn't good by the look he was making. She stood up and walked a little closer. "W-what was it you said? I... I didn't hear..." Melody was now hesitant. The voices started up again and now they were laughing and having a grand old time. Why is it they are laughing? Are they laughing at me? The sweet voice whispered gently into her ear, for only her to hear, "He was going to kiss you, Melody." Melody stopped and stared at him with wide eyes. She turned a deep red and covered her face with her hands. "No, you're lying," she mumbled shakily.

"I was. . . That's why I don't allow people to touch my tail. . . It's like a light switch for my mood swings. It makes me get. . . perverse. . ." Tex sighed as his eye twitched and his tail flicked close around him. "You want me to leave now don't you?"

Melody jumped forward at him, her hands held straight out. "NO! If you left then the voices would never leave... I... I'll just make sure to never touch your tail again." She sighed and plopped down in front of him, sitting with her legs crossed and her hands in her lap. She kept looking down and played with the hem of her dress.
((Omg... I totally had de javu of some sort... From what, I have no clue... >.< ))

"Ummm. . . ok?" Tex said jerking backwards when she had reached her hands out towards him. "But. . . I'm sorry about that. . . I just don't want to do something that would freak you out. . . That's why I asked you to hit me earlier. . ." He looked down at his tail which was flicking him in the arm.

Melody looked at him horrified. "You being here freaks me out... You weren't supposed to be here and when you showed up a whole bunch of voices began talking to me." Melody hid her face in her dress, turning red. "And... And what if James hadn't shown up...? And what if I didn't hit you? Even though I was thinking of it... I don't know if I would have actually done it..." She groaned and looked up from the dress. "I only kicked you afterward because I knew I wasn't in as much danger and I could run..."
