"Not long. I waited...for 3 hours. But I came here for 6 minutes until you woke up."

'Well when the accident happened... two years I spent in an orphanage. No family wanted me, so my Aunt Kotone felt bad and took me in so long as I train. The training was initially to protect my younger cousin, Adeline. But then I began to enjoy it and this is why she insists I come every weekend. To be honest, I'll be training while I'm there. Anyway, she never let me out to play because she found it a waste of time. I love books because she made me spend every day reading about swords. But no, I've never had a relationship mostly because, a) I didn't attend school; my aunt taught me at home, and b) No boys showed an interest in me so long as I was around Adeline because I could only go out when I protected her. She got all the boys.'
Kaori gasped.
'Before the store closes, do you mind waiting here? I actually have to pick something up. I hate to ask you to wait.'
She frowned.
