Rio smiled, seemingly pleased, "Very well." he said, and looked over at Haruka, raising an eyebrow.
Haruka noticed his fathers gaze and flinched, then quickly walked into the kitchen.
Rio looked back at Takeru, "So, if I may ask, how long have you known my son?" he asked, politely trying to start a conversation with the visitor.
Haruka was standing in front of the sink, white-knuckling the rim in an attempt to stop the trembling which had started the second he was out of view, he gritted his teeth, why... he stared down at the sink, then closed his eyes.

Rio smiled, "I see." he replied at first, "My apologies if i pry, its just he has no friends and i was getting worried about him." he said, "I guess i owe you a thank you." he laughed softly, though Takeru couldn't tell if he was faking it or not.

Haruka walked over to the refrigerator, trembling so much he could barely open the door. He'd decided to make eggs and pancakes. A simple, quick, breakfast.

Rio smiled, "Very well." he replied, "He just started talking to you?" he asked, though he did try not to pry, he was curious about this topic, wondering why his son suddenly opened up to someone. He glanced back at the kitchen door, his eyes narrow.

Haruka had pulled out a pan, some butter, and was already mixing together the ingredients for the pancakes. He wanted to look in at Takeru, hug him. He felt safe there. He sighed, and continued to work, trying to push the though from his mind.

Rio tipped his head, "Odd... He hasn't talked to anyone but me, and that other boy at his school, in three years..." he eyed Takeru, wondering what it was about him that would get Haruka to speak. He was everything Haruka hated, or thats what his records said. Rio smiled slightly, "What did you say? maybe we could tell everyone to say that..." it was a joke, it was almost like Rio was testing him.

Haruka watched the pancakes brown, poking them every now and then, he moved closer to the door, so he could hear them.

Rio paused, his son? relax? was there some mistake, or was Takeru pulling his leg? "I see..." he replied, amused.

Haruka walked out and glanced at Takeru, "Breakfasts ready..." he said, never looking up at Rio, though he did look over at Takeru again.

Rio smiled at Haruka, "Thank you..." he said softly, "We still need to talk about what happened yesterday, I had to work late and didn't want to wake you..." he muttered, walking towards the table, which was now set.

Harukas eyes were locked on the front door, almost like he was about to run for it, but he turned and followed his father, "R-right..." he answered, looking back at Takeru again.

Haruka winced, more then normal, as Takeru grabbed him. He looked up, and faked a smile, "I'm fine, really! nothing to worry about!" he said, looking away, "What do you mean strange? I'm me..." he hated lying to Takeru, it felt like some sort of crime when he did it, and not in a good way. He looked back up at Takeru, his cat ears pinned down.

Rio noticed he wasn't being followed, but didn't really care, he'd just wait for the two to be done with whatever they were doing.

Haruka smiled weakly, and grabbed his wrist, pulling him into another kiss. He smiled happily up at Takeru, his eyes returning to their normal light glow. He chuckled, and walked past him, sitting at the table.

Rio was reading a newspaper, smiling down, he did glance at Haruka, but said nothing.

((No worries! biggrin Okay, Haruka and Takeru have moved to the next day (time gap) okay? *thats going to be the longest breakfast of all time 'cuz i kinda want them all to go to school together.... lol))

Joe chuckled, finding his nickname very amusing, "Yes! its really good!" he replied, grinning as he took another bite, "I think i might steal you and make you cook for me..." he teased, looking over at Keni, "Thank you." he said, he like these two, they were very.... amusing.
