I think some biography out there (perhaps in RE2) that states she was an avid bike rider.

She obviously didn't just hop on a bike and go "LOL! I R EXPURT!"
By the way she rides and handles the motorcycle you can tell she's been doing so for at least a couple years.

There are better questions to ask in the Resident Evil world. For example, how is it that Steve Burnside handles the gold Lugers he stole so well?

Who knows but then again how hard could it be to fire a gun or do Lugers have a recoil

battosai matt Who knows but then again how hard could it be to fire a gun or do Lugers have a recoil And the most important... How he got the ammo? Because there is nothing without ammo for them. And Matt... Just because you see a bike ride for 15 secs dont means she cant be a expert.

lol, man, this seems to be a small scaled argument. Allow me to clear things up.
question number one, is Claire Redfield a Biker? Answer, Yes she is. My Archives state that Claire Redfield is a Biker, so she knows how to handle a bike, she had been a fan of bikes for years, and she has multiple Bikes. She has the one she was riding in RE2, and she also has another that she uses in races at Bike tracks, I think it was featured in the Battle Game Ending for Alternate Claire in Code Veronica. Chances are she may even have more than the two that are know about.
question number two, How did Steven Handle the Lugers so well? Answer, Steve was trained at the facility as a soldier, he wasn't just a prisoner, I think that this is covered in a file or something, and I think it may also be covered in my Archives as well, I shall double check to make sure however, and correct myself if I'm wrong. So with his training at the training facility, I'm sure he gathered some insightful information about guns, as for the ammo the Lugers take, they can use a variety of rounds, depending on the caliber you have, most commonly, a Luger takes 9mm rounds, which is the most common caliber you find in the game, since seeing as how the guns that all the characters start out with are usually 9mm.
I hope this solves most of the conflict here lol.

Please look in your archives for evidence of Steve's training, because I do not remember any of that, although I will admit it has been years since I beat the game.

Well, Chris is a Gun Expert, I'm sure that you remember reading about his marksmanship, and how Wesker was second best with a gun lol. Makes you wonder if that has anything to do with how much Wesker Hates Chris on top of the other reasons doesn't it? lol.
As for the thing I spoke about Steve, I must retract it as of right now, I have many more files i need to read through. But from what i have read thus far does not support what i've spoken, I apologize on that behalf. However, It makes you wonder though, why is it that Steve is wearing Military clothing, instead of the regular prisoner garbs that the others wore? Doesn't make much sense does it? So I will go so far as to say that I think he must have had some type of training, because it doesn't make sense why he wouldn't be clothed in the prison garb. Then again, there is always the chance that he raided a few surplus areas on the island to get those clothes lol.
But with that spoken, it's not too hard to handle a gun, anyone who's watched any action movie with lots of guns in it can learn how to take apart a gun, and reload the bullets into it's magazine. A Luger isn't complicated to figure out either. as for the recoil that it would have, who knows, maybe Steve was stronger than we thought lol, we did see him hanging from a piece of metal by one hand the entire time that Claire was trying to kill Nosferatu.

Yes I agree... Also he was weildong a dual SMG. That makes most of the perfons think that it wasnt his first time with a gun or two... And yes he seem to had trained somehow... And yet that didnt save him and as for the Lugers indeed they were 9mm... Also is the nazi broomhandle you see on RE4 (the Red9) was modified but both guns used a special rounds of 30 shells so the standart 19X9 bullets was not able to fit there. So one way or another... Steve has something to hide and we have to find out what. Because you see him with a gun post on the 1st encounter with him so that means Steve had links outside to let him get there
