Mana eyes directed to the area Yuzuki pointed to, "Hmm I can't see anything its too dark." He said squinting his eyes trying to see a glimpse of anything in the bushes or behind a tree.

 Kazin promptly woke up when his name was called. Having just fell asleep a little while ago, he wasn't all too sleepy. "What is it?" Kazin replied as he shot straight up from his resting position. "What's happening?" Kazin's eyes were still adjusting. He instinctively had his hands over his kunai pouch. His heart was racing from the sheer tone of Mana's voice.

Of Men and Bears Slowly from the timberline a rather large bear appeared at the ninja's campsite. It made no attempts to attack any of the cloud ninja as it made it's way to the groggy white haired ninja. Then out of nowhere it opened it's large mouth and licked the boy on the face. Something truly terrifying.

Yuzuki raised her eyebrows at rather... odd sight. What was it... and was it housebroken? The way it was cuddling up to Hyuga-senpai it seemed like it was a rather large dog of some sort.
"Aww... senpai has a new friend. But... what is it? Yuzuki asked in a quiet voice, not sure if the creature was somethign that would spook. It looked like it could do a lot of damage. Her tone was loud enough to reach everyone but not loud enough that it may be considered threatening to the furry monstrosity. "It... doesn't seem to be a threat but... lets keep ourselves wary just in case it desides to do something a little more violent." Yuzuki kept her calm, panicing would only lead to rash and rather dangerous situation. Granted, she was ready to get her team mate out of there if need be, but this strange creature didn't seem like it was going to tear or rend... at least not yet. She kept her wire out and ready in case something needed to be stopped from the bear. Those paws looked like they could do some damage.((Wow! That bears got a long tongue if it can reach us all the way up the tree. xd ))

Kazin was truly terrified. Many thoughts would have been running through Kazin's head if his brain wasn't loaded with a simple thought: Oh My God, a bear.... He could only imagine what his face looked liked. Of all the possible outcomes for this situation, and this was it. After a few seconds of utter shock, Kazin finally gathered his thoughts together to muster up three words: "That's a bear." Kazin was filled with utter relief as he realized their situation. He was sure his teammates were just as surprised as he was, but he still looked at them to make sure. His hand retracted slowly from his Kunai pouch and placed it on the bear's head. "You gave us all quite a shock buddy, especially me." Kazin said to the bear while breaking a comforting, yet cautious grin.

Of Men and Bears The bear slowly made his way down off the tree and continued to look at the genin before making a motion with it's head for them to follow. It even let it tongue out of its mouth and started panting as if it was a dog waiting for it's master to take him out of the house. What was this... 'pet' doing?

'What the hell?' Yuzuki quirked an eyebrow and looked over at Hyuga to see if this was normal for these bear-things to do and if it was if they should indeed follow it. They did have a mission, and the mission would come before helping some... er... poor... helpless... walking fur coat. She closed her eye for a moment while she looked down at the bear.
"Sorry pal, but we're already on a mission, and we're expected back tomorrow... though I doubt we'll be able to make it on time the way things are going. So, if you could just... er... 'bear' with us until we get our first assignme~ what the hell am I saying?? I'm talking to a friggin animal... I really must be tired."
Yuzuki laid back and rubbed her eyes with the bottom of her palms. Ugh... this just got really, really weird. A bear. A stupid animal was trying to get them to follow him. In the back of her twisted little mind she wondered if its master had fallen into a well or something? Regardless, assignments from the Raikage were coming first before personal problems of some randomly friendly woodland pet. They were already behind schedule as it was. Good charities were not going to be happening before those papers were given to that ex-ANBU member. Not only that, she was dreadfully unfamiliar with the territory and thus, she could easily get lost following this thing around at night... then again, she could hardly see as it was anyway. It would take next to nothing for her to get lost here.
"Alright boys... we should get some sleep so we can complete our mission for tomorrow. I don't know this territory at all, and if we get lost out here, we'll never find our destinaiton nor our way back. Sorry Yogi... not tonight."

Mana was shocked about the bear he had many questions, but he knew that he wouldn't get the as the bear didn't know how to speak. "So what we do with the bear? Kazin looks like you got yo self a pet." Mana said taking off his gloves since he wouldn't be needing them anymore. Mana was imaging himself riding the bear like a mount of some sort. "That be so cool, a Ninja bear" Mana slipped out as he was having a little day dream.

"Well, no matter. At least this gives us some extra protection while we sleep. Again, wake me up when it's my turn, my ability is made for situations such as these."Kazin said to his comrades. "As for you bear, if you can, hold off till the morning. We need sleep even if you don't." Kazin said as he patted the bear's head again. "Make sure to help us out if you can." Kazin laid back down and tried to get comfortable. He slowly felt the embrace of sleep as his breathing slowed down and his brain cleared up.

Yuzuki woke with the braking of first dawn, when she looked around the bear seems to had left, she noticed that at the bottom of the tree lay a mysterious basket at the base of the tree. As she waited for the others to finally get up, she made her way down to where the basket was, with careful planning and persision, she lifted the lid of the basket to find fresh strips of some sort of jerky. Her eyes narrowed suspiciously, could it be poisioned? She'd feed it to Mana first and see what his reaction was. If it was good then she'd maybe have some. Maybe Chiyu-sensai swung by to see how they were doing and left something for them before returning back. If all else failed, then she would bring it back to the village and see what was up with the stuff. Waste not want not.
Now that the mysterious package was delt with and contained no problems, Yuzuki looked up at the others in the tree.
"Wakey-wakey boys. Lets finish up this mission and go back home. Chiyu-sensai will most likely be waiting for us. We can eat on the way to finishing this mission. It'll only take about five hours to get there at the most. Are you ready?"

Mana ate up the jerky due to the fact he was hungry, "Mmm good!" Mana said with a mouth full of jerky. Mana looked in his back pack and pulled put a bottle of water, "That jerky made me thirsty." He said gulping down water. "Lets head out senpai!" Mana said finishing the water.

As Mana would finish off the jerky he would find a single parchment at the bottom of the basket.
Dear Bear-Killer
Due to your carelessness and disregard for my friend and pet which was killed due to your team not taking in his hospitality and not sending him back. I had no choice but to use his body for my own means, I have skinned him and am currently looking for a way to make myself a blanket out of his fur. As for the meat I made it into a fine jerky and placed it into the basket along with this note. If you have decided to eat ANY of the jerky before reading this I have grave news to tell you. I poisoned the meat before I placed it into this basket. Hopefully you will take one's hospitality when they offer it.

Mana read the the note, "Umm Yuzuki i think you should look at this note." Mana said handing her the note, Mana Suddenly punch his stomach so all the jerky would have come out but it was no use. "Why does it gotta be me, why can't it be kazin since the bear came up to him." Mana said coughing Mana suddenly realized if that he didn't let out any built chakra his body will be come destroyed from the inside out. "We need to get to a hostpital, before my over bulit chakra erupts!" Mana said panicking(You misread the thing, it just prevents you from using chakra/chakra based moves until the end of your mission, it doesn't kill you.
-Zinc) (Mana has a double edge sword type of chakra. his chakra can get built up for a certain amount of type and can destroy his chakra points if not let out properly.)

Yuzuki quirked an eyebrow and took the note, she looked down and her eyes slowly scanned over the words with a stoic expression. When she finished reading her face remained the stone mask that she wore while reading it. 'Well, well... so it was poisoned afterall. I'm really glade that I didn't eat any and someone else found out... then again it does go back to 'don't take candy from strangers.' So, now she had a choice to make; they were only about five hours away from their mission, they came too far to turn back now. Then there was the option of letting two of her team mates turn back while she finished... but that would be dangerous for her, and if she let him go back alone, it would be even more dangerous for Mana. Then there was the option of abandoning the mission all together. Yuzuki, despite her mask, got a rather aggitated look on her face. The last option wasn't an option and she didn't like splitting up the group. She looked over at Mana.
”We will finish the mission as expected. We are only five hours away and once we finish we can head back into familiar territory we can go all out in getting back. We‘ve come too far to not finish this mission and I‘m not going back to Doku-sensei telling him that we failed to deliver some mail. I won‘t return with that stigma. Now, common you two, lets get going.”
Yuzuki didn‘t look like she was going to budge on the matter. It wasn't her fault that Mana was reckless and got himself into trouble, maybe this was going to be one of those learning points that she was talking about back in the training feild when he chose to ignore her and her hidden wisdom. Well, maybe this would snap him out of it. She was sure that Chiyu could cure this poison, but for now, they had something to do and she was going to fulfill it. She used her chakra to climb up the tree and looked around to get her barings after she pulled her map out. She got the direction where they were going agian. She looked over at Kazin, he seemed to be rather silent right now, she doubted that he was okay with this, but she didn't really care. If his personality was to please everyone then he would learn quick that it was an impossible task.
"The cabin is this way, come on."

As you continue through the forest a small smoke stack could be seen raising up through the tree line, it was proof that there was civilization up ahead, at least single building or camp site.
