The Faun woke with a worried bleat at Ares' shout. Shooting him a look that said, 'well done mate', Delilah walked over to the bed to comfort scared little Arwa.

Ares shrugged. "Sorry. I'm not very good with children, as you can so apparently tell."

Sage smiled. " As long as you don't use a loud voice or try to hurt them Children aren't that hard to deal with. I don't suggest giving them anything sweet though. That makes them hyper and it takes a long time for them to calm down."

Ares looked at Sage, and said in a perfectly serious voice, "Exactly why I'm not very good with them."

Sage shrugged her shoulders and smiled as she watched Delilah with Arwah and Flicker with her sheep. " Two of my best friends appear to have become Mother's over the past day. I certainly wasn't expecting that." She teased.

"There were thirteen in our company when we set off from our homeland." Delilah began, holding Arwa against her shoulder. "Some of us were from different tribes, different lands and we went to fight a war that we knew we were heavily outnumbered in even with our abilities." The faun sneezed as he played with Delilah's illusion hair. "We intended to travel only a short distance but ended up overshooting our destination and ended up here."

"Ah. Planning on getting backup, weren't you? Well, you're not getting any here - everyone's fighting in this idiotic war, and we're staying here. Not that I mind...it's kind of nice actually."

Delilah didn't reply to Ares, instead watching Arwa. The Faun had been distracted by Ares' helmet and had climbed off Delilah's lap to play with the shiny object. ((I'm assuming it's been taken off))

Sage shook her head. " We weren't looking for back up per se. Just our friends that we were split from. The war we were to fight is something we've been prepared for a long time and the fact that we would be outnumbered. We're merely trying to find our companions."

Ares gave Arwa a look as he played with his helmet. "Don't break that. I'll need it later." He turned to Sage and said, "That's it? That's really why you guys came all the way from middle-of-nowhere Romania, and got lost here? You've got to be kidding me."

Sage nodded her head. " We're just trying to find our companions. We didn't come looking for back up. The thirteen of us had it drilled into our heads that there was no one else to help us and that it was up to us to try and win the war. It's important that all thirteen of us be there."

"As if he could break it- he's only a little child." Delilah's reasoning wasn't help by the faun tapping at his reflection in the helmet. "Arwa, please don't do that- the nice war god won't be very happy if you break his helmet." Arwa stopped tapping at the helmet and put it on his head, the helmet many times larger than the faun's head.

Ares gave them all look. "...Whatever you guys say. But you're still going to have to clear up your little god troubles." He snorted when he saw Arwa putting the helmet on his head. "That's more likely to injure him then protect him, you know."

As the helmet wearing Arwa approached her, Delilah noticed someone at the door. Slowly taking the helmet off Arwa's head despite a loud "No" from the faun, Delilah returned the helmet to Ares.

Sage snorted. " Arwa your mother took the helmet for a reason. Do you want me to make you an illusion?" Sage asked the faun trying to coax him out of a bad mood before he pitched a fit.
