Go to the store and buy fresh lemons and some honey. Then go home and cut a lemon in half and squeeze all the juice from one half (or both halves if you can handle the tartness) into a mug. Add some honey and pour boiling water over it to make a tea. I know it sounds kind of yucky, but I promise it helps. Don't use that neocitran crap... fresh, REAL lemons are much better for you than that fake powdery s**t. The acidity in the lemons will change the pH balance in your body to slightly more acidic, which helps kill the germs in your body. And the honey is super good for you, and will sweeten the tea (because it WILL be bitter)
I swear though, I start drinking it whenever I feel a sore throat or a cold coming on, and probably 80% of the time I'm better in a day or two.
