Nimue looked back at Rudolf and Garaden and then smirked.
"I'm glad to hear you all have so much trust in me... I hope I never betray that trust." She said, wagging her tail at them. "You'll enjoy it, I promise you that and it's nice to get out and enjoy the nice air. I knew there wouldn't be snow on the ground but I didn't expect the ground to be so..wet." She laughed quietly and continued on with her head held high.
"Alright, Garaden's the Tinman. I'll be the Scarecrow, Rudolf can be the lion, Naito can be a flying monkey and-and Ivan can be Toto!" Kai winked at Ivan and Naito and continued on his way. He looked around at the woods, alert and noticed a little bunny hopping alongside them. He barked at it and wagged his tail...happy for the moment. He caught Roland looking at him and he tilted his head. "Oh, a new comer... I almost didn't notice you. Are here to enjoy the trip?"
Atreyu brought up the rear and watched carefully the woods around them. He silently listened to the other's conversations and smirked slightly. It was nice to be around everyone again even though he was still a little upset over losing the food bowl. He shook his head at Kai and Garaden.
"If you guys start skipping and singing, I'm going to be forced to bop you both on the head."

Roland looked over at Kai. "I am here to help you knights." He said. He then looked forward and jumped over a rock. "So how much further is it Nimue?"
Rudolf looked at Nimue and nodded. "Betray not trust you." He said with a smile, "Lion I?" He looked at Kai a little confused. He didn't know what Garaden and Kai were talking about.

Garaden nearly fell over laughing. "You forgot one Kai! Two actually. Nimue will be Dorothy and Atreyu can be the wizard!" He turned back to Atreyu and laughed again. "What if we just sing?" At which point he tripped over a root and fell into a deep mud puddle with a yelp. He stood back up, looking down at himself fully embarassed. He lifted a paw from the puddle, letting the mud drip off, and a sudden grin lit his face. "Ah-ha! Camouflage!"
Ivan looked up. "What?" Maybe he didn't want to know why he was suddenly Toto. He shook his head, and nearly fell into the mud after Garaden, jumping backward quickly. "Thanks for the warning." He said with a chuckle.

"It shouldn't be far at all.... at least the part of the journey that I shall be accompany you on. There will be a bridge over an icy stream..." She closed her eyes, drawing the image back and managed to jump over a fallen log with ease. "That is where we will be forced to separate unfortunately.... Anyways, you'll have to continue on the path for a awhile into the deep forest and then you will come to the cave...." She paused and then smirked. "Someone will be waiting there for you all to arrive-" She turned, opening her eyes, to look at the others and tilted her head. "Dorothy? Why me? I think Roland here would make a wonderful Dorothy." She stifled a laugh and continued on. "I'm kidding of course."
"Then we are definitely pleased to have you...." Kai, for the moment, was acting serious and bowed his head towards Roland. He heard Garaden and let out a sharp bark of laughter. "Hm... that works out quite-" He paused when he heard Rudolf and he tilted his head. "Yeah, you're the Lion... wait, you've never heard of The Wizard of Oz?"
Kai heard Garaden's yelp and he turned to look at him, almost falling over and laughing. "Go on Toto. Help the Tinman out." Kai turned back to Rudolf and jumped over a mud patch in the path.
"Wait, wait, wait." Atreyu said, trying to hold back his laughter. "I'm supposed to be the wizard? Oh come on, I'd rather be the wicked witch. I'd at least get to ride on a broom and have a little fun." Atreyu shook his head and frowned when some of what Nimue said, settled in his mind. "So the second part of our journey we must continue on our own?" At Nimue's nod, Atreyu flicked his tail. He walked up to stand beside Ivan and stared at Garaden before laughing at him. "Smooth..."

Roland looked at Nimue giving her a 'are you crazy' look. He could not see that at all and his lack of imagination didn't help. He then looked to Kai and nodded. "I'm glad I can help." He said listening to what was being said about their journey, "So we'll be on our own. Who's meeting us?"
Rudolf shook his head at Kai. "No never I heard of Oz Wizard of." He said jumping over the mud, "I should have?"

Naito had been quiet the whole time until he heard Kai's story. "Huh? Me flying Monkey?" The purple moonlit thought the idea over. "Ok! Well it's good for me. I can at least fly then." He laughed a bit.

Garaden climbed out of the mud, giving his fur a shake with a laugh. "Right Naito. You won't have to worry about the mud holes while flying." He looked over at Roland and frowned. "Who would you be. Lets see... how 'bout a munchkin?" He stopped walking to keep himself from tripping again, and turned to Atreyu. "Gee Atreyu, someone has to be the wizard! Can't have Wizard of Oz without the wizard!" He faced back forward, watching everyone else hopping over the puddles, and sighed, skipping to catch up to those in front.
Ivan shook his head. "Toto does just fine without being covered in- er, camouflage." He turned to Atreyu and raised his brow before calling up to Nimue. "When we seperate, will you be going back to the house?"
He slowed slightly as a sudden warm, happy feeling came over him. He didn't see any reason for that here... was it Raisa? He smiled at the thought. If it was, what could have made her so happy? ((Raisa just learned about her pregnancy and is thinking of Ivan as a dad. Yeah, I know that post was way earlier timewise. Just pretend it's the same time. >< ))

Nimue smirked at him and raised her paw wagged at him.
"That I cannot tell you. I must keep somethings to myself and other things you all must discover for yourself. You'll just see when you get there. And if you enjoy riddles, then I'm sure you'll enjoy who awaits." She laughed at the look he had given her earlier and she turned to look back at Ivan when he asked about where she was going to go. "Don't worry, I won't get kidnapped and no, I won't be returning to the house. There will be something that I have to do but I will see you all when you return to the sitting room... I promise."
Nimue managed to give him a smile and turned back to the path ahead, trying to look out for the bridge.
"Rudolf, when we get back from this...we are seriously having a marathon of movies just so that you're exposed to our culture." Kai shook his head and trotted beside his friend. "Alright, the basic storyline is this chick gets sent to this crazy world with all these strange people. It's good...lots of singing."
Kai heard Naito and he glanced over towards the purple male and then at Roland, who had just been named a munchkin. "Ha! Wizard of Oz: Knights style. It'll be the next greatest Hollywood hit."
Atreyu managed to get his laughter under control and looked at Garaden.
"Alright, alright, I'll be the wizard but as long as I get to have my own musical number." He wagged his tail and watched Garaden as he struggled over the mud puddles. His ears twitched and he listened to Nimue and Ivan's exchange before he sighed, shaking his head.
"Please be careful Nimue...we cannot lose you out here." Atreyu glanced at Ivan and noticed him slowing down. "Ivan, earth to Ivan...you alright?"

Roland shook his head. "I am not being a munchkin." He said giving them all a stern look. He then took back to Nimue and smiled. "I love riddles." He said looking forward to meeting the person up ahead, "I hope they are good ones." He walked a bit faster then broke out in a run as he spotted a puddle. He gained speed and leaped into the air jumping over a huge puddle. "You may have to run to get over that." He called back.
Rudolf tilted his head smiling. "Okay." He said starting to run. He jumped over the puddle but didn't quite make it at the end. He had landed right on the edge and fell backwards into the puddle. "Ugh. Bum wet be now." He said shaking off.

"You gotta be something, erm, Roland? Yeah, Roland." Garaden was already skipping to catch up, so he broke into a run for the puddle and leapt. He might have made it, but he bumped into Rudolf and bounced back into the puddle. He stood, dripping wet, tried to look as pitifull as possible and yelled dramaticly. "Why me?!"
Ivan half-nodded to Nimue, wondering why Raisa was excited. When Atreyu called to him, he looked up with wide eyes. "Huh?" He wasn't limping, was he? He looked at his shoulder, followed it to his paws, then back up and saw the others had gotten ahead slightly. That's what it was about, he had slowed down. He sighed in relief and smiled at his friend. "I'm fine. Feeling pretty good actually." He was feeling pretty good, until they reached the big puddle. 'Crap...'

Nimue watched Roland jump over the puddle and she took a few steps back and began to run towards the puddle. Water didn't bother her but she wasn't in the mood to get soaked. She jumped over the puddle with ease and turned back just in time to see Rudolf attempt the same thing but instead he fell back into the water. She watched the others struggle with the puddle and tried to cover up laughing with a few coughs.
"Poor poor Rudolf..." She heard a second splash and looked to Garaden and let out a bark of laughter. "And poor, poor Garaden."
Kai stared at the puddle in disgust and then threw back his head, letting out a howl of laughter at the way Rudolf had put it.
"I think more then your bum is wet." Kai looked back down at the puddle and sighed. "Well, I might as well try it...." Kai backed up and took raced forward towards the puddle. He jumped in the air and just knew that the other side was in sight but when he landed, he felt water..mud..and he knew he had missed. Groaning, he shook his head. "Of course we had to pick the wettest day to go on some treasure hunt!" He began to pull himself out of the puddle, snickering at Garaden.
"You won't be feeling that way in a minute if you can't jump over this puddle like the others." Atreyu smirked at them and shook his head. "Eh, a little water and mud can't hurt but I'm not in the mood to get all dirty... I'll see you on the other side."
Atreyu moved away from Ivan prepared himself to make the jump. He took off at a quick sprint and easily cleared the puddle. He turned back and stuck his tongue at his friends to tease them but was greeted by a pawful of mud that Kai tossed at him. He wiped the mud from his face and laughed.
"Very funny Kai... Come on you guys, you all alright?" He asked, tilting his head.

Naito watched the others crossing the puddle and followed in the direction of what Roland was doing. He almost felt like laughing after seeing the scene, but kept quiet as normal. Also he had been watching the others on what they were talking about and smirked. Eventually he got a running start and crossed the puddle without getting wet.

Roland looked back at everyone and saw that most of them were muddy and wet. He shook his head at them. "How did you guys not make that?" He asked before continuing on.
Rudolf looked at Nimue and nodded. "Poor yes me." He said, "Right think I you. More bum wet than." He watched Kai and laughed when he didn't make it. He looked at Atreyu and nodded to show that he was fine. He then looked at Roland and scowled. "Sorry. Talented like not you." He said following.

Garaden laughed, climbing out and shaking his fur. "Like I told you before, I'm working on my camouflage!" He grinned at Roland. "See? In the woods, all that yellow fur is going to stand out like a sore thumb. Can't be sneaky looking like that." He turned his head and frowned. "Come on Ivan. Since when are you last over?"
Ivan shook his head. No puddle jumping for him just yet. Especially a big one like that. Cursing under his breath whoever thought giving anthros shoes was a good idea, he found the shallowest area he could and trudged on through. Shrugging off the look Garaden gave him, Ivan shook his legs off and headed forward with the others.

"I definitely wasn't made for jumping. Those extra Christmas cookies are catching up to me and weighing me down!" Kai said when he had heard Roland. He watched Naito make it and he picked up a pawful of mud to toss at the purple male but was stopped by Atreyu's stern glance. He dropped the mud and continued on after Roland and Nimue, keeping up with their pace.
After giving Kai a stern 'Don't even think about it' looks, Atreyu had to laugh at what Garaden had said about camouflage and yellow fur but managed to stifle his laughter. Making sure that everyone was safely across, Atreyu turned and noticed the distance growing between them and Roland and Nimue. He barked and wagged his tail.
"Tallyho! ((I love saying that XD! )) We have to catch up."
Nimue shook her head at the males she was surrounded with and continued on. Her ears twitched when she heard the sound of rushing water and she perked up slightly but that feeling instantly went away. It meant her part of this journey with the knights was coming to a close.
"I can hear the river. We're nearly halfway there to our destination." She said to Roland, managing to wag her tail. She picked up her pace, racing towards the river ahead and jumped over a fallen tree. She slid to a halt on the wet ground and stared at the sight in front of her.
The melting snow from the hills and mountains had flooded the river and the current was a tad faster than usual. Nimue stared blankly at the water and noticed a few small chunks of ice that probably drifted downstream from the mountains and she sighed before turning her attention to the bridge. She stared at the old wooden bridge, swaying slightly over the water. It was intact and she sighed. At least that was a good sign.
"This is it then..." She turned to the knights and sat down waiting for them to join. "I can to try and calm the water enough to get the bridge as steady as possible but... this is where we must say goodbye."
