Dark_Lily13 So, there is a story behind this. I was searching Google Images to find some covers to the Drizzt comics, where I stumble across such an interesting picture. Maybe you'll feel the same. Starring: Legolass (LotR), Nuada (Hellboy II) and our very own Drizzt. I think I know what one that is. I love it XD. Though, Legolas looks like a girl (he does NOT look like a girl in the movies, and it never really describes him in the books). I don't think Drizzt would be that inclined to swearing, and I've never seen Hellboy (though that comic sort of made me want to). Sort of weird how they made Nuada into a villain, since wasn't he a hero in the mythology?

I'm not sure about Nuada. It certainly makes me want to read the Hellboy comics... although a quick Wiki search seems to prove you right. Maybe a subtle stab at some Irish mythology?

Well, they apparently needed a powerful society of shady, impressive mythological creatures, and the Sidhe would lend themselves to that... though why couldn't they use Fomorians instead? I sorta thought that kick-butt elves on the big screen was cool anyway. And I think Nuada was king for a time. I've never seen Hellboy (either one), and I'm no expert on mythology. I just research elf folklore on wikipedia when I'm bored.

I try to stay away from Wiki when I can. Enough research papers have shied me away from it.

That's an awesome Briza pic, and the first I've seen. I wish I could draw like that (though I disagree with the artist's comments). I tried to draw Briza once, but it didn't work out too well...

I just finished a drawing of Jarlaxle that I'm fairly happy with. I can't post it since I have no scanner. My sister put me in a bad mood by saying he had a giraffe's neck (she has a point, but she exaggerated it by a lot), when the people she draws have no neck, to make them "cute". stare

Does your sister draw chibis or something?

No. I like chibis, when drawn well, like my friends draw them (they draw awesome manga-style and chibi art, which I wish I could). They could seriously get a career out of their art eventually, seeing as they can copy best-selling manga art, and we're all going into 8th grade. I don't know what my sister's art style would be called. Maybe really simple people with huge heads in disgustingly "cheery" situations. At least I have some sense of anatomy and proportions. And variety.

Hehe... I cannot draw chibis. I'm starting to get a sense of anatomy myself.
