Jay heard a loud thump and instantly his eye opened. He was in a hospital room covered with blankets and bandages. It seemed one was covering his eye...but he wasn't able to lift his arm to lift it off of him. He cursed silently to himself and looked over, seeing Kas's foot and Aes trying to subdue Ultima. "How long have I been like this?" He wanted to ask, but it all came out as a gurgle.

(this is my first post in a while...I'll be sure to get on more often, but school is holding me back) sweatdrop
*Kas just nodded and looked over to her brother, who suddenly gurgled. The noise made her heart jump, thinking he was in some kind of trouble...but then again he probably would've reacted like ultima had if he felt as if he was in danger. Kas closed her eyes and let her thoughts drift away. They were poor once more. The gracious donation of rare gems by Ultima brought in a lot of money for the two of them. They could finally live a comfortable life and have their child grow up in a normal standard of living...now as soon as it came it left. They had nothing but this practice now, and dispite the fact that she had wonderful memories of Aes and herself living there, it wasn't the best place to raise a child.*
*Her eyes opened and drifted over to the blood stained and torn kimono, the sleeves of which were burnt by the fire. It was beyond repair, which seemed to break her heart, since it was her most treasured posession, given to her by Aes. She now realized how little they had now, what life was like when they had nothing...it was still happy, but coping with it now would be a lot more difficult since they had been living together for exactly five months to this day.*
* She felt like crying, but Aes had enough to cope with as it is. She wrapped herself up in the blanket, making it like a toga for her to wear, and she got off of the operating table. It was hard enough, she felt the pain of all of the wounds that had been treated, but she would just cope with it later. She sat down with the kids, easing their tears and watching the two of them play with one another now, crawling on one of the matresses of the practice.*

Aes Sidhe He kneeled down beside her, before just laying on Kasumi and resting his head on her chest. "I don't want you doing anything dangerous, ever again." *her throughs drifted back to the days when Kasumi and Aes were still dating. They were both poor, and when Kas had offered to become an assassin once more, Aes told her never to do anything dangerous again. A small blush came over her face, realizing how selfish her thoughs were. As long as they were happy, they would be fine.* *As for doing anything dangerous, Kas had forgotten about that when their family was attacked. She looked over to Aes, working hard on his patients, and she silently wondered why he could remain so calm in a situation like this. It seemed that these things didn't really phase him and he was just doing his job. She arose from her spot on the floor, watching the two children sleeping on the mattress, and then held the sheet against herself, walking to the closet and getting dressed with whatever she had left. She walked to the door and said* "I'm going to take a little walk..."

Most of the time he continued his work in a very calm and professional manner, it was something he valued quite highly. But now he was able to go forth just thinking that his family was safe, and that knowledge was enough to keep him content. Hopefully the others would find Mr. Wesday. The three of them could be reunited. Mr. Ultima was doing as well as he could now. Aes had used a large amount of his energy that had slowly been returning to him to build up a field around the man. So that his patient could feed of the field and be healed sooner. As for the mangled and bloodied mess that was Mr. Kimache it was more difficult. Aes went over to him, needles in hand already along with his other equipment. He was still concentrating on keeping himself together, but turned to Kasumi. For a long moment he just looked at her. "Please" he begged simply. He needed her badly now.

Pale burst into the place, upset. But her anger was giving her some ground finally. She was good with the fact that it looked like Aes was finally giving her husband some attention, but since it looked like Aes had too much on his plate she wouldn't be able to deligate much to him. "Kasumi, Chanti is going back and bringing Quin Wedsday. Aes has to help the others here, I'm glad that you're looking after the kids but right now I need to go and fetch Jay's eye. I've also recieved word from Morgan that she's coming- I've told her most everything and she's just as ******** pissed as I am. I have to go now, hold this place for now." Still on that same burst of energy, she left.

*As Kasumi reached for the door, she turned to look at Aes as he pleaded with her not to go. She really needed some fresh hair, but as her hand touched the knob Pale came through the doorway and gave her an order. She nodded, and then turned back to her husband and brother, really unable to bear looking at what had happened to him. She swallowed and said in a quiet voice to Aes* "What can I do to help...?"

((to prevent confusion, I will state this: Aes cannot see the new diety)) He had fallen asleep again, when he woke up it appeared as though Mr. Kimache had healed himself, as if by magic, and also Mr. Ultima seemed to be in very good condition. Staggering up, he turned to his wife and said, dazed "What has happened?"

"A miracle..." *Kasumi said. For some odd reason she felt wonderful...the kiss made her oddly happy, and she wrapped her arms around the back of Aes's neck and hugged him* oh...Aes. you're so tired and drained of Ki...perhaps you should just take a nap"

((Because I'm sick of waiting to be mobile again))
Ultima pulled himself off his bed on to a Wheelchair right next to it, using his long arms to prop himself correctly. His remaining leg was left half limp in the chair, it still wasn't responding right. He got comfortable and started to wheel himself around, taking a look around, understanding where he was and how he got here.
Aes and his wife seemed tired, barley able to stand, Ultima felt a strange sense of being able to relate to that. He was sure they would notice hm moving soon if they hadn't already. Its hard to miss a man in a wheelchair sometimes.
Ultima didn't try to talk to them, instead he looked for something he desperately needed... Food

His search went to no avail. For a place to restore strength and health there was no nourishment, no way to restore Ultima's empty middle. He opened each and every cabinet that he could reach, finding needles, sponges and strange bottles.
Creating much noise he continued to look, finally finding a stray apple in the trash half eaten he gave up looking on this side of the room. Turning himself in his chair and moving again he let himself coast towards another set of drawers.
"Hello... whats this here" he thought as he found a old wooden pipe in one miscilaneous door. This pipe was his own, from long ago. It must have been removed from his person at some point when he had helped to heal Reaper. Grasping its familiar shape he dusted it off and placed the bit in his mouth with a grin. The taste was all to familiar and felt pleasant, better then a good meal could have done.
Closing the drawer and looking around this place with a devilish look in his eyes he moved slowly to address Aes.

*Kas woke up, gasping as she heard movement in the house. She arose, letting go of Aes and looking over to Ultima she said "What are you doing out and abou-" She was cut off by a ray of falling light, as well as the sound of many a rifle shot. She looked to her equipment and gathered it all up, saying* "There's no time...um...don't move from that spot!" *She then dashed off to the battlefield, hoping she wasn't late*

"Don't move from my spot? confused How coy of you .. Hey... Where are you go.... Damn it all...." Ultima said as he sat in his wheelchair. Now that the girl was away i suppose Ultima could play however... but there were babies in the house, best to go outside and watch the fireworks. So Ultima wheeled after Kasumi outside the house. He saw her head towards the battlefield quickly. Ultima just parked his chair next to the building and took up his pipe and watched to see what was going on from his position. The bit of his pipe in his mouth and smoke coming from his mouth.

Rias watched Ultima from the roof. It was an interesting thing to watch. he was obviously a warrior. She had seen the girl go out so it was just him and some kids. She hoped anyways. She sent Nari down. Nari soared down and landed in front of Ultima cocking her head. SHe gave a soft shreik and ducked her head some. She then looked back up at him, waiting.
