kiana shook her head and looked at kai.'you know imve no problem with cats, not really, but i have to admit that the whole feline class is a bit full of itself. combine it with human nature and they're just about insufferable'

Emily looked at Kiana with a somewhat sad look on her ace. "I just wish I didn't have this burden", she said. Sitting down in one of the recliners, she said, "You know, I almost cut this off". She held her tail up. "The only reason I keep it around is I sometimes need the better balance it gives me".

Katie gave kiana a completely amused yet serious look, "Now why would you say that about me or 'Mily here..? Am I really that much of a pain to you?" She turned her head towards Kai and put her hand out on the seat next to her on the couch, as if to dare him to sit next to her while she was in this dangerous playful mood..

Emily smirked, getting back into the mood. She pulled out her knife, but instead of flipping it or anything, she balanced it on her finger by it's tip.

Kai saw Kaite invite him over and thought about it for a second, then went over and sat by the cat-girl. He glanced at Falcon, "I don't know, these two seem alright. I've known a few arrogant people that were all human..at least I think they were..but they were far worse then any feline." he shrugged.

Emily looked at Kai, begining to feel a bit playful herself. "Well thank you. I'm glad a person appreciates me", she said with a playful smile. She made eye contact with Katie for a split second, and mentally smiled. Now it was a verbal game of cat an mouse with poor Kai.

Once Kai sat down, Katie curled up in a ball, resting her had on his lap, purring. The angle that she was in, would have made Kai either feel awkward and turn red, or make him feel as though he needed a cold shower. It definitely didn't help that she nuzzled her head into his hip a little. This was indeed a game of cat and mouse, yet, it was not for food... As she settled into kai's lap, she replied to Emily, "Though your species may be bigger, I see you as a sister."

Emily smiled thinly. "To tell the truth, I have no family. And you are not MY family", she said a little shortly.
((Sorry for the short post.))

Emily glared coldly at Katie, for she had struck a nerve. A very sore one. "You may view me as family, but I view you differently. To me, you're a person I can use to get further away from the authorities", she said. Emily knew this wasn't true. She considered Katie to one of her first friends in a long time, but the words came before she could stop them. After all, that was how she first viewed her.

Katie sensed the defensive reply which only caused her to finish the sentence by commenting, "Someone once said to me that this world is full of people. People, in general are always out for themselves and in doing so must use others, whether it is to feel more humble by helping others, or by swindling others out of money." She smirked and added, "Your use of me is more practical. My use for you is more sentimental. In the end we are both using each other for our own needs." She had made a point that others who appear to be selfless always have a motive. Though that didn't mean that it was bad..

Emily looked at Katie with a sad smile. "You know what I had planned to do to you Katie? I had planned to follow you out of town, then stab you the back, tie you up and leave you for the authorities to find so could get away. Alot of people are searching for me, but they won't get me", she said.
((Should I play two parts. One as Emily and another as a government agent??))

Kai did feel awkward from the was Katie rested, but he didn't blush or have 'romantic' feelings..mostly he wasn't used to anyone getting that close to him, also he felt like he was being used in a possibly dangerous game between the cats. He glanced between Miss and Katie, "Now, now girls...I do have a dog in my basement if I need to separate you.." Kai was trying to joke around, but also he figured it was better if they got mad at him instead of each-other, after all he was still 'just another citizen' for now unless whoever was after them found them with him.
((Up to you..but we need more people or an idea of what to do after we all get tired of sitting at Kai's place..or both.))

Emily glared at Kai. "Don't think you can threaten me with a dog. I almost killed one earlier today. It's neck could've snapped if I had hit it harder". Emily was telling the truth, but she had perposely not killed it. If the authorities found it, they'd want to know what killed a dog without leaving a mark on it.

((If you want to but you'll have to send me a valid profile.. n.n; ))
Katie clung a little to Kai unconciously digging her claws in slightly, though not enough to hurt but enough to show that Katie was uncomfortable with the idea of having the dog brought in, "You really don't understand felines, do you..?" She paused calming down she explained a little, "It's better to have them on your side then be on their bad side.. Double cross a loyal dog and he might whimper and the eventually forget and forgive, but double cross a cat and a thousandfold grudges shall be laid on you." She said it as though she were reciting something she had heard, "At least.. That's what my mother used to say when telling her assistants to 'play nice' with me.."
