In Shadow Dragon, Marth can go up to level 30. :3 But he also doesn't promote.

Yeah, in Shadow Dragon on the ds, those that don't promote can go higher than 20, I believe thieves can too

That's the way it works, Ashnard. Marth, dragons of any kind, thieves, and ballisticians don't promote, so they get to cap at level 30. 3nodding

I wish thieves could upgrade. D: Julian was turning out so WELL for me. But he gets 10 less levels than anyone else. Just like Marth.

Depends, Ashnard. I changed all of my bishops into Sages, and while their resistance was lower, they had higher magic, which worked better for me. It really depends on your personal preference and how the units turn out for you.

Everyone was talking about their first playthrough.
I was at "Sands of Time", and these are my characters levels. Needless to say, I had to start over.
Marcus - 17 (I had NO idea the max level was 20.) Eliwood- 12/1. That's right, 12. Hector- 15/1. He turned out halfway decent, but that does NOT suit him. Lyn- Let's not go there.
I was trying to use a 10/1 Wil, Dorcus, I think a 12/1 Oswin, level 12 Erk, level 15 Hawkeye, Pent (don't remember his level) and a level 8 Lowen. I feel so stupid. Oh yeah, Nils was only level 3. D:
Ashnard, when you encounter the Turban Man and all his awesomeness, level him to 20 cavalier and then switch him to a sniper. You will be pleased with this outcome.
Sage!Lena is doing well on my file too, Ninian.
