"He was slightly bigger and more magically potent than you. He was older, too, was he not?" Settling herself back against the pillows, she turned onto her side and pillowed her head on her arm. "I trust you but that doesn't mean I like it. Of course if anyone were to be able to actually change that girl's mind about things, you would no doubt be the one to do so. Come keep me company while you worry about this bump on my head. I see you studying it."

"Yes, he was older." Lhia was perhaps one of the few that knew the dynamics between the brothers. Kyytael indeed was the older, stronger, more proficent brother...but wasn't a social creature, where as Tyyrael was the face of the pair and the student of the older brother. "I try very hard to make people see more efficent ways." Scooting back and making himself comfortable against the pillow and mattress. "I'm horribly transparent, aren't I?"

"Yes but I like you that way. If you weren't transparent then I wouldn't understand all the crazy things you do and that wouldn't be good for either one of us." Reaching over and brushing her fingers through his hair just to do so as she studied him and then shifted to tuck her nightdress more securely against her legs. The next move was up to him....she didn't know where any of this was going.

"I'm going to take that as a compliment." Watching her for a moment before reaching over and slipping an arm around her waist to pull her close to him once more, the silky material of her night dress aiding the endeavour. "Are you going to stay here tonight or are you going to skip back off to your own bed and deprive me of such a vision that is yourself?"

She stiffened slightly at that first touch then relaxed back into his chest and let him tuck his arm right along her tummy. Her mind told her to suck the tummy in but she hesitated too long and his hand was pressing against the flab. Too late now. An inappropriate snicker at his line and she chewed her bottom lip. "This vision is remaining right where she is. Although for your sake I hope it comes true at some point in the future." Poking fun in the gentle way because it lightened the mood and the moment.

Of course as a rune mage, his fingers were always doing something and in this case they were merely barely sweeping back and forth where they were. He chuckled lightly, nuzzling at her hair some and giving a light sigh as he relaxed some. "Yes yes I know, I'm horribly out of practice with the compliments and wooing thing. I'm all rusty." It have been...what, well he didn't know how many years anymore, since he had done any sort of courting.

"That's quite alright, Ty. I'll let it pass this time but you'll have to do better next time or I'm afraid you might just lose me." Still joking of course and the tone would tell him such things. "Your tongue has been covered over with silver often enough for those of the Brigade. Cast some of it in place for me." Reaching down, she pulled the tie of her robe and then sighed softly herself. "It's been a long time for me as well. We'll learn together."
PostPosted: Sun May 10, 2009 9:45 pm

"Hm, I'll make sure then that I save some of that silver from work and bring it with me wherever I go so that I am always ready with a proper compliment then. I'd hate to disappoint." Another beauty of this whole thing, she wasn't afraid to make fun of him or indulge him in making fun of himself. Though he would disagree that it had been long for her, as fourteen or so years was nothing to them. However, she didn't seem to like to bring that experience up. Instead he chuckled. "Study buddies hm? Always a pleasure." Brushing a light kiss over her shoulder before settling once more.

"Much better, Master Tyyrael. You hate to disappoint anyone, after all." Their dynamic had been established years ago and now they were adding in romantic aspirations as well. It would work, she was sure of it. His kiss fell on satin instead of skin and she mourned the loss. To compensate, she puled away long enough to drop the robe to the side of the bed and reinsert herself into his arms once more. "Would you mind terribly if I asked you to do that again? Just the small brush, that's all."
PostPosted: Sun May 10, 2009 9:59 pm

"You know if you call me Master Tyyrael when you're not mad at me, I'm never going to learn the 'I'm irritated with you' tone." Lhia, even when they weren't getting involved, rarely titled him. At least in private she rarely did. A blink though as she readjusted and he chuckled lightly, "Already putting me through paces? Shame on you." But he didn't deny her request, brushing his lips over her skin in that same chaste fashion that he had before. Indeed, better without the cloth in the way.

It was a rare occurrence but it had felt fitting at that particular moment in time. "That would be a terrible thing, wouldn't it? Although, I think you know me well enough now to pinpoint when I'm truly annoyed with you. It comes in more ways than my tone." Her skin tingled with the warm brush of lips and she let her lips curve in a satisfied smile. "I shall have you twisted around my finger and ready to jump to my commands before the year is through."

"This is true. Most days I try to avoid you when you're truly on the war path. Probably out of the question now though, hm?" Joking back and forth as if nothing was truly different. "Hm, oh really? Careful Flamedance, I may be old and out of practice but I'm still hard to bring to heel. I'm stubborn, remember? You couldn't tame me no more than I could tame you. I'm just more docile with age if anything."

"Vale could give you a much better answer to that than I ever could. He's lived with me on the war path, as you call it, and off. Perhaps you two should share coping techniques?" Giving a chuckle at that and shaking her head. "As if I would ever try to truly bring you to heel. Nay, what I ask I ask in the name of affection and I ask with the knowledge that you would move the moon and the stars to make my dreams come true. You whispered as much to me one night away from prying ears. Do you remember?"

"I'm sure I'll cope just fine. I have an office for a reason, after all." She wouldn't be the first to possibly drive him to it either. Smiling though as she decided to try her hand at the fancy words and she was far more in practice than him it seemed. "I remember." She had been so upset that night, feeling like there was nothing left for her and that she was alone. He had endeavoured to remind her that she wasn't. If there was anyone there for her, it was him. "I thought you didn't care to believe me. I wouldn't know that you did by the look you gave me."

Chasing him into his office? Well, they would just have to stay on opposite sides of the house, wouldn't they? "I don't have an office, but I do have a room. Works just as well." Her eyes took on that shadowed look that meant she was thinking of her father and she shivered reflexively. "I don't think I did believe you at the time. It didn't seem to matter. Besides, in my mind you were simply trying to make me feel better by giving me false promises that sounded pretty."
