You've got something cool going on, but I think you can do more with it. You can use some more yellow on the body, or some more blue on the legs or head. But I like your avatar's simplicity as it is as well.

I like the colors, and while the green eyes are sort of jarring, they go with the avatar. However, I feel like there could be more to it. It is sort of generic as it is. But wanting more of something is a sign that what you have is pretty good.
