"Lonely?" She raised an eyebrow, never having really thought about the concept before. "I don't think so. To be lonely, is more of a human trait." she said, not realizing that this girl didn't know she was a goddess.

Mariata covered her mouth, she had forgotten that she was pretending to be human. "Well, uh, yeah, but...." she sort of trailed off. "I'm the demi-goddess of chaos." she said quietly.

really? ::mildly curious, but she doesn't act surprised or awed... or like Mariata had admitted to being a demigoddess:: then you're at least half human right? so it should be half a trait you have.... ::logically::

Mariata blinked. "If logic served gods and goddesses I'd suppose you were right, but, it doesn't work that way I'm afraid. We're all different." she said.

::quickly grows bored with the fire. It's already made, and the only thing she can really do with it is make it bigger, but she doesn't want the others in the house to be uncomfortably hot. Standing, she walks around the room, examining pictures and other human artifacts that they just don't have up where she lives. All alone, with no stimulation, Belinda is soft and quiet, almost languid in her movements. She's sad that she can't go back home, but is happy at the same time to have such an intimate view of human life, it's not something every god can boast of.::

*Kyoko smiled and stepped up behind Belinda, placing a soft hand on her shoulder* Dear, why don't you get some rest? You seem tired and it's been a long day for everyone. *She looked towards the front door and held her soft, yet somewhat weak smile* I think I should bring those two inside as well before it gets too late. *Kyoko took and breath and beamed brightly as she faced Belinda again* So please get some rest for now.

Mariata chuckled. "You're right I suppose as far as that goes, though many gods and goddesses just hate everyone else, or something like that. But, we usually have our reasons." she said, tilting her head slightly.

that they're supposed to is reason enough for most of them... and for those that need more reason HAVE more reason... ::glances toward the building:: like the loss of a loved one in the war... or... ::looking back toward the sky, thinking of some of the air humans she'd come across:: the destruction of a home because of a raid....
