Amaranta looked at him as he slept. he looked very peaceful. she felt odd. she had never watched someone sleep before, but thats all she had to do for the moment as she sung to herself.

Dante awoke hours later. He looked up at Amaranta.

Amaranta smiled. Her hand moved to his head and before she knew what she was doing she stroked his hair out of his face.

Amaranta blinked several times, somewhat confused. *What did I just do?* she wondered, dropping her hand to her side.
