Outside the castle, Elasa gently set the cat down. "Stay here, little one," she said softly, before turning around and going back into the castle to see if she could calm Zeso down.
Apex quickly followed his master, slipping out of sight with just as much ease as Deathstroke; because of this, he didn't see the newest spectacle.
[Exit APEX to UNDETERMINED]
[Enter CAPTAIN COSMOS from AUDRA AILITH]
A bright, silvery-white light appeared in the throne room-- oddly enough, right in between Zeso and Doom, and the humanoid form of Captain Cosmos stepped out of it, one hand blocking the flames of Zeso without any apparent discomfort or difficulty. His eternally-shining white eyes looked from one combatant to the other, and the celestial being's voice was toneless as he spoke:
"This fight is pointless. Ghost Rider, what you saw attacking the Tamaranian behind you was a mere holographic illusion. Victor von Doom had nothing to do with its attack. Victor von Doom, the Ghost Rider arrived here out of defense of the Blue Lantern. His intent was purely on protecting her."

The black cat blinked and looked up at Elasa as she put him down. He gave her a small "Meah" in reply, then watched her go.
He watched for a few moments, staring at the castle though there was nothing really to see. Then....for no apparent reason, the fur on the the cat's back stood on end like static. He frowned, let out a quiet gurgle that was very reminiscent of a growl, and lowered himself onto the ground. Pointedly turning his head away from the castle to wait things out.
Really...he should probably just go. He had Spiders to help get back to America after all.
.... *growl*.

"Within Light, thy ways have died. Within the Darkness, all things have lied. Judgment as my guide...
 Zeso growled as the fire seemed to do little against the great, white being, and in futility, he pulled away the fire, leaving the area of the Cap and Doom behind him perfectly untouched, while the areas besides them were molten and scorched...
"Captain Cosmos..." Zeso would loudly growl, jabbing a finger in his direction, "This does not concern you! This menace has caused enough pain to last several life times! Leave now! Your are not my enemy!"
As Zeso commanded this of the Captain, he would re-summon his blue fire scythe into his hands, smashing his fists together once more, only at this time, it quickly materialized instead of being gradual, brandishing it towards Doom more then the Captain...
"You have no business here...leave... I do not wish to face you, but if you make me, I will have no choice but to treat you as a foe...a hindrance to divine justice!"
Despicable demons, hear my God-fearing plight! Burn away in never-ending night! Give me your might, Dark Lantern's Light!"

"Divine justice or not, Victor von Doom is currently an ally of the Lanterns that now call themselves the 'New Rainbow Rodeo'," Captain Cosmos said to Zesoranael. "Therefore logic indicates that for now, he is your ally as well. This fight is pointless, as I have said. Your focus should be on preparing to fight the Dread Ones-- and no-one else."
It was at this point that Elasa zoomed into the throne room, and saw Zeso. She frowned, and moved over to him, her calming aura flowing outward and reaching both him and Doom.
"Zeso... why are you doing this?" she asked. She wasn't disappointed or upset; her voice conveyed a child-like curiosity.

Zeso would slowly turn his head to Elasa, the aura penetrating him, but did little to calm him. The fire blazed without missing a step, at first his eyes simply staring forward, not wanting to register her presence...but slowly he could not deny her gaze, his head angling slightly upwards, looking to her...
His free hand slowly outstretched, halfway uncurling, raising as if to touch her cheek, though she was too far to touch, his skeletal hand feeling limp in the air, his eyes somehow much more hollow then they used to be, the fire taking an odd indigo like color as he gazed towards her, the dark purple intertwining with the blue as his scythe arm slowly lowered, the weapon remaining in material as he looked to her...almost pleading for her...
"He...he has hurt so many people...he...he hurt you...he..." The flames rekindled, pain searing through his being, remembering her cries of sorrow in his mind, causing his anger to build once more, the fire blazing as he looked back at Doom, "He deserves his judgment!! He must pay for his sins! Justice must be dealt! Ven...Vengeance MUST be dealt!"
Despicable demons, hear my God-fearing plight! Burn away in never-ending night! Give me your might, Dark Lantern's Light!"

Elasa cocked her head. "Zeso..." she said softly. "It is alright. I am not hurt."
She was slightly confused. Why would Zeso come all the way here for her? Alone?

((Well, to say something that matters little now, I was more focusing on the idea of Reyna going nuts and instigating more problems...any who...never left I guess so...))
Eira had felt the distant calling from Indigo-1, and though she felt loathe to leave the battle scene, she acknowledged her leader's orders, and with a soft *blip*, had disappeared to a nondescript rooftop a few miles from the castle.
[[Enter Indigo-1 from planet Porphura]]
Indigo-1 felt the presence of her lieutenant Eira as she entered planet Earth's orbit. She quickly locked onto the woman's signature and soon was near enough to her that she could see her silvery hair and sharp eyes. She alighted upon the roof top. "Hello Eira." she said, inclining her head. "It appears that the Blackest Night returned far swifter than even the Lantern Corps leaders could even guess..."

The burning figure looked into her eyes once more, his weapon limp at his side as he tried to understand exactly what he was feeling...the chaos inside of him was burning like his own fire...ravaging his being...corroding his mind...
He slowly walked towards her, the scythe gradually falling apart into dull sparks along the ground as he moved into her presence, standing a couple of feet from her, looking deeply into her eyes as his arms remained limp at his sides, his face harrowing, the fire and lowness of his head creating an expression of solemn grief, pain raking through his eyes...
"H-He...he hurt you...he made you cry...I...I was dying...falling into Death...and I heard your screams...I heard your pleas...and I...I just..."
Slowly a thick,slight drizzle began to foam from the right eye socket, a blue energy, nearly crystallized but was still a liquid that oozed down his cheek bone and down his jaw, soon the other eye socket doing the same thing, only the flow grew greater, his teeth making slight chatters as the fires around him turned darker, his eyes becoming more lifeless...
"I couldn't...I c-couldn't bear to hear your pain...I...I-I needed to make i-it better...to m-make him p-pay for b-bringing you sadness..."

Doom stood among his Doombots staring at Zeso and shook his head, "Are you telling me that you are threatening my person and all those who serve me because I made this Blue Lantern cry!?! How can you justify such an action and be 'a hero'? I believe you should put your priorities straight before you try to 'justify' anything."
Starfire held up a hand toward Dr, Doom while she still hovering, "Now, now. No more meanness, your Highness. We do not want to have this ballon out until it pops."

Elasa blinked once as she looked at Zeso with a look of incredulity that matched Doom's.
"You... came all the way here, from the throes of death... to get vengeance on those that... made me cry?" she repeated, trying to get it right in her head. "I... I don't know what to say, honestly... All I know is that you should not be crying, either."
With that she used her aura in an attempt to calm Zeso and fill him with Hope, so as to cheer him up.
"I figured the only people that would go to such lengths to right that situation would be my own people. I am a... a sort of religious figure to them, and on Caliven, any slight against me is punished with death. I hate that such measures have occurred, but... who am I to try and stop the practices of my own people?" she continued.

"When love has fallen far to earth...and when all burns in the hearth...
 The flames slowly cooled further as the energy of Hope surrounded him. Zeso, letting his guard drop, drew closer to Elasa, the tears across his cheeks and lower jaw glistening as he slowly rose a skeletal hand, using the back of his knuckles to gently brush her cheek, and as he did, the flame vanished and skin returned to his hand, the effect slowly crawling throughout his body.
Life returned to his clothing, going from ragged and torn to new and clean, his jumpsuit underneath his trench-coat free of the flames and glistened with a soft light. His long, billows of onyx hair coated the front of his chest, shoulders and back, some of the hair sticking to his face from the tears. His eyes were harrowed, red with veins as he looked down at Elasa, his hand uncurling so his fingers could softly brush her smooth skin, a low sigh escaping his lips as he closed his eyes...
"Hearing y-you...seeing you...in pain...it brings pain to my own being. I-I couldn't...I couldn't just let it happen...I had to do something...anything...to stop the pain..."
His hand rose and softly brushed through her hair, curling it back around her ear, a very small smile cutting into his pained expression as he came closer to her now, barely a foot apart as his tender expression became calm, though was still marked by the pains of his emotions...
"I...I care about you a lot Elasa...I don't want to see you in pain...I'd do anything to not have to see you in hurt...to always have you smiling..."
When all you crave is lost, I shall be what you need most. Your love in the darkness that won't fail...never the end to this dark tale..."

Elasa smiled a little at Zeso, not shying away from his touch.
"I am flattered," she said sweetly, before giving him a kiss on the cheek swiftly. Then she turned to Doom.
"As daughter of the Chieftain of the Atu'me tribe, I would like to extend an official apology for my partner's actions, and I offer to use my own power to repair your home, with no compensation required except for the freeing of Larfleeze. I shall make sure that he does not stray away from my aura and get into trouble again, Your Highness."

The analysis of Larfleeze's power ring and Orange Lantern was now complete; however, Doom was loathe to release the Orange Lantern. Dr. Doom rolled his eyes, pointed his Molecular Displacer at empty space and fired. Reforming in front of them was Larfleeze. After Doom reholstered his weapon, he spoke directly at Larfleeze, "You owe this Blue Lantern much, Orange One. You would do well to heed her while you are here. In the future, if you try anything like that again..... I will destroy you by dispursing your atoms across the countryside."

Elasa frowned. "Your Highness, as I attempted to explain earlier, Larfleeze's Power Battery and Power Ring cause him to be overwhelmed by a constant hunger and unending avarice. It is not entirely his fault for his own actions. The only known way to keep those effects from staying at their current level is for Larfleeze to be near the blue light of Hope, which is able to keep his hunger and insatiable greed at bay for as long as he is near a Blue Lantern like myself."
After she explained this, she raised her ring and proceeded to use it to repair the castle itself, her light spreading through the castle's interior like a liquid of sorts, repairing all damage done. When she finished, she placed a leash constructed of blue energy on Larfleeze's neck.

Dr. Doom smiled under his metallic mask in viewing Lafleeze on a leash, "Good."
Starfire turned toward Elasa, still hovering in place, "What shall we do now?"
